This is from a Louisville television station's telecast. The telecast was in color, but they used an old black and white video tape machine to archive it. The Nets won the ABA championship in 1974 and 1976, while the Colonels won in 1975.

Some say he didn't have a jump shot, this video shows otherwise. Wish we had his full ABA career recorded, he was unbelievable! His years in the ABA were as good statistically as the best 5 statistical years of MJ (MJ's 1st 5 years, even excluding MJ's 2nd yr when he was hurt)

Also, that flush at 0:25 transcends time. A lot of "flashy" dunks back then admittedly did not age well. However, folks are still doing that double pump reverse on fast breaks, and a lot of them don't look at pretty as Erving's here. Excellent upload.
