I don't agree with you about the coffee. It's obvious that Dale had no idea what was going on with the coffee. It did not represent time. However, the coffee seemed to react to Dale Cooper. I believe that it showed how Dale would face the Lodge, first strong, solid and unopen to fear, then open, runny and weak and finally the oil associated with BOB.

They always have some good musicians at the Black Lodge, but I don't know about the atmosphere... and, frankly, the clientele are a little creepy.

@brayguru dale doesnt refuse the coffee he pours it out to demonstrate the abscence ofa time space continumoum in the lodge. he first tries to sip the coffee in a solid form, illustrating that time stops and slows in the lodge, as illustrated by his second attempt to pour the coffee resulting in a syrup like pour. he meets bob and is then chased through the black lodge by his own doppleganger, and fails to escape the lodge in his dopplegangers place.

the lodge is where leftarm connects to the soul all humans have a spirit a soul and a lodge dales met the left arm when he was a child and would see him again in laura palmeer 25 years later as bob is the army of left arm his outside agent when dale didnt drink the coffe he was accepting the bob remember everthing is backwards so it started with him becoming bob dopleganger garmanbrozia and then ended with the not drinking the DAMB good cafeh he's fuc'd said backwords tall is short nice evil
