@ChibiTails actually in Imperishable Nights you played as pairs (characters physically swapped out when you focus). In Subterranean Animism, though not as obvious, you played with a support partner. Reimu A can use the gap ability shown in the video ^_^

This is the Yukari assist version, where Reimu will be able to use Yukari gap ability (release all button, press left or right twice on the corner of screen to enter the gap, in game). Yukari's ability also enabled Reimu to use a dimensional shift as her bomb to pass all projectiles while still gaining graze point (in game), see 06:19 for the activation

@InuzakaNaze In Touhou 11 you get to choose three kinds of reimu:

Reimu+Yukari, Reimu+Nitori , Reimu+Suika

You don't see reimu's partner but you do get their powers..

When playing with Reimu+Yukari you can use Yukari's power to move from one side of the screen to another by rapidly pressing the direction key to either left or right.

According to the game's storyline Yukari talks to reimu useing the floating Yin Yang balls and this is how she can aid her from far away~

For example at 1:06, Utsuho says: "Yatagarasu, lord of the black sun".

Then at 1:10, she says: "Thank you for giving me your power" (something like that)

The entire dialogue translated is in the English Patch for the game, and in the Touhou Wiki. (Reimu/Yukari type)

The balance between the SE and the BGM needs to be balanced more - like around 9:00 where the battle-SE is too loud compared to the music, which should have been brought out more. The inverse applies to earlier in the vid, where the klaxon SE is just not loud enough to hold the epicness that it has elsewhere.

Who thinks that ZUN should re-release some of his games for PSN and XBox Live as a 10th anniversary to the 'windows' continuity. He could possibly hire the guys that created this to make enhanced graphics for the re-releases and possibly even add an option that keeps the "So bad its good" art ZUN himself made. I can only imagine the achievement names and extra 10th anniversary content. It's only too bad that something like this would go against ZUN's policy of 'NOT SPOILEING THE TRUE ENDING'.

If I were to go into detail, I'd say that this video is unique in that it's mostly action, somewhat rare among fanvids. The action is fluid, well choreographed, and manages to keep the pacing up despite being eleven minutes long, two to three times longer than the average Touhou fan video.
