  • Just WINNING !!

  • dude you were right about EVERYTHING!

  • @MegaRANGER420 kill urself then

  • ~ The war on drugs has been failing since the Reagan administration, which I believe started it. Agreed though, "War on Drugs" is a "War on Ourselves". Also, the reason alcohol & cigarettes are legal is because the federal government makes literally tons of money on taxes. They no that if they legalized marijuana, only some people would buy because it would be ridiculously overpriced & taxed, plus there are too many people out there who have plenty of seed to plant their own.

  • @LordHillsidor Actually it started under Nixon.

  • Drugs are stupid People die from it People get killed over it Enough said

  • @charmer2323 People shouldn't get locked up for using drugs. If anything, they should get treatment, not prison. It's dumb to lock people up for using drugs if the only people that they're hurting are themselves. Also, some drugs like marijuana don't kill people. Regardless of if these drugs kill people or not, it's dumb to lock people away in prison for it when most drug users only harm themselves, not others.

  • @charmer2323 Driving is stupid. People die from it. People get killed over it. Enough said. Space exploration is stupid. People die from it. People get killed over it. Enough said.

    Something to think about:

Deaths from prescription drugs per year: 100,000

Deaths from illegal drugs per year: 10,000

It is easier to get illegal drugs than it is prescription drugs.

  • @charmer2323 people get killed over them cuz theyre illegal.......

  • War on drugs = Government does not like competition.

  • all drugs should be legal, because there is more violence and gang shit over drugs. All drugs can cause problems in a life, but that is there problem, and their choice to put it in their body. Having it legal doesn't mean more people are going to do it.

  • @roryfitzpatric Not all drugs. You don't want amphetamines legal

  • @Recovery82 Why not? Just because they're legal doesn't mean everone is going to do them. My point is to end all the violence over drugs. It's someones own choice to do horrible drugs, whether they are legal or not

  • Your just plain old stupid if you think weed is harmfull. Hate to burst your bubble lol. All the others should be outlawed. Not weed though.

  • those harder drugs should at most carry a fine.

  • If u r supporting drugs then I want to c u smoke a J on ur next video

  • Comment removed

  • yeah lets stop doing nothing and start kickin there asses you send me to the big house I'll send you to the moon.

  • get rid of cigarettes, weed, crack and all bad drugs.

  • Couldn't fucking agree more with this video. The government doesn't own my body, I own my fucking body!

  • p.s Don't get me started on alcohol…….Greedy hypocrites. Jail people as much as you want but the drug problem you created will never go away. I hope you choke on your vodka and marlboros.

  • The tobacco companies should be put behind bars and the idiots who made them legal as well. They are the reason for millions of deaths caused by nicotine and contaminants . Hypocrites! These geniuses rule the country( how comforting)

  • go to netherland and use everything you want , :))

  • actually Pot smoking is harmful and can lead to long term mental illness.

    just say no.

  • @LuckyInJuly No, just say no does not work. But getting people to never use drugs is the key, to stop drug use.

There's no proof the pot causes long term metal illness.

Spent the money on the war on drug, on rehab.

  • You know...I thought about it and removed my comments...I wont be able to make you see my points....and you haven't really done anything to change my mind. So I am just going to leave it at that.

And on that note...have a great day.

  • @BigDaddyDarth Well, I didn't even see what you wrote because you removed your comments before I could read them. But I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. There's nothing wrong with people having disagreements as long as it's done in a respectful manner.

You have a nice day as well.

  • @spinnernet1 the war on drugs is a big joke the government gives Cigarettes to kill ourselves but the stuff that doesnt kill you is illegal but maybe iv'e been watching to much boondocks and listening to Huey

  • @BigDaddyDarth I know several people who have used marijuana and it has never hurt them. Marijuana is not harmful to humans. It's not addictive. It doesn't cause people to act violent. In fact marijuana calms people down and relaxes them and makes them feel happy. Marijuana does not cause cancer. Marijuana's side effects are very minimal and the side effects (like loss of perception and coordination) usually only lasts a couple hours. Marijuana is not bad for your health.

  • Spinner smoke it up! lol jk jk

I like when ywc get serious for a change. Keep it up. Check the war on poverty which some of us can relate to. 1 out of 4 or 5 kids go hungry. It's a shame.

  • shit, of course drug addicts aren't going to get the rehabilitation they need by getting a lengthy prison sense, it makes worse, cuz these addicts are going to lose their minds cuz they can't smoke, once they get out, they still do it

  • Agreed and im 14, i know marijuna don't kill, just ask my neighbor, he been smokin a joint for years and never had medical issues. my cousin died from cancer and regularly smoked cigerattes. Government is so fucked up on this shit. and the cartel is makin lots of money off the drug war. wats also sad is that the ones normally sent to rehab are celebrities. If you aint a celebrity, you'd be lucky to get sent to rehab with a little jail time

  • I completly agree with you on this one spinnernet1

  • @Spinnernet (cont) The people who go to prison because of drugs who otherwise are not criminals get a PHD in how to be one in prison. America has more prisoners then any other country in the world. Marijuana will never be legal again because they make to much money on all ends of it and would lose a lot of money. Industrial hemp can be used to make anything and was before. Oil, cotton, and many other things could be replaced by it. Anyway, Ron Paul 2012!!!! And not just because of this issue

  • @Spinnernet Great Video Man! You are exactly right about the decrimilization of drugs. Unfortuantly, it isn't going to happen anytime soon. It is big business and the same big 5 banks that poor millions of dollars into the lawmakers pockets, are the same banks who get caught over and over laundering drug money. Hell, the CIA brings the drugs into this country and then the Prison Industrial Complex capitalizes on all the cheap labor of inmates. The people that go to prison because of drugs....

  • I agree with you man: it's stupid that cigarettes are legal, yet marijuana isn't. I've been around smoke from both of them, and only the cigarette smoke made me cough. the mj smoke just smelled

if they let that 21% the population problem in prison would be solved a little bit

  • Could you imagine the MONEY and the tax revenue we could bring in by legalizing marijuana? Look, we are 14.3 trillion + in debt, it is time to make a change. Legalizing marijuana would bring in some nice revenue for the government, as well as raising taxes on the top 2 percent of money earners. IT is time to make REAL changes.

Also, 1 guy got LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE for 3 joints and a little cocaine. Is that really fair!?

  • LOL AT THE AD NEXT TO THE VID

"GET HELP FOR DRUG ADDICTION NOW"

  • LOL AT THE AD NEXT TO THE VID

"GET HELP FOR DRUG ADDICTION NOW"

  • I dont smoke anymore, but I used to EVERYDAY. In 07 I smoked 2blunts, and a cigar(with weed) all at the same time...literally there was no passing I had all three in my mouth at the same time...but anyways..it was an amazing high, I coughed like hell but I could breathe fine lol. I smoked 1 cigarette and couldnt breathe! And even cops have asked "Do u smoke pot?" I've said yes to them and they're like meh...bcuz they know pot is harmless. Cigarettes are legal for population control! KILLUMINATI

  • sorry if i came across as judgey but im just saying if we legalize drugs then we may not have alot of ppl in jail. but what we will have is all those thousand of people in prison out on our streets getting high all the time. legalizeing it all is just another way for the goverment to kill off the population and earn more money by taxing it.

  • Great vid man, you hit the nail on the head.

  • All I can say is you must be a pot head cuz until you've lived with one or know some one addicted to it you dont know squat and do you know how every person in prison got there, i think not. I think you are sending a horrible message to your young viewers.

  • @nibbler167 Lol, I'm NOT a pothead. I KNOW someone who was addicted to drugs so I have experience with knowing how drug addicts act. So don't judge me unless you know me. I know a lot about the behavior of drug addicts because I knew one personally. And he was a nice guy who was NOT violent towards other people. So don't tell me that "I don't know squat", because I DO.

You talk about the message that I'm sending to my younger viewers. I didn't tell anybody to start using drugs.

  • Great vid I found this very relevant as an avid user of pot myself, deffs should be decriminalized

  • The theatre that is the american justice system is one thing, but I do not agree with this whole "non violent drug users" statement. I mean, where do they find money to buy their drugs? I doubt they have regular 9-5 jobs. It's self-destructive, yes, but they do drag others into that shit as well. And heavy users turn into dealing themselves. And drug dealers are scum of the earth.

  • @BurgiW Most drug users have jobs. That's a fact. I've seen the stats. Most drug users are non-violent people who can hold down a job and make their own money working hard every week. Only a small percentage of drug users steal from others to support their drug habit. The media shows you the "bad" drug users. They don't show you the good ones. And most drug users (including heavy users) don't turn into dealers. I don't know where you're getting this misinformation.

  • @spinnernet1 True, I do not have any hard boiled stats. yet. But I do know something about common sense. In your video, you talk about drugs and drug users in general, though it appears you are referring to mindless potheads for the most part. But since you did mention heavy drugs as well, I doubt a crystal meth user is able to hold down a job, be it Wall street or McDonalds. In closing, "bad users" should get off the bloody streets, and the "good ones"...well, they should bloody know better.

  • @BurgiW Lol, you called potheads "mindless". I've got news for you....A LOT of so-called potheads are very smart people with high paying jobs. Marijuana is something that people from all walks of life smoke. There are a lot of well educated, intelligent and fully functioning people who smoke marijuana.

And there are plenty of people who use hard drugs who can hold down a job. Yes, there are even cocaine users who have jobs and who go to work 5 days a week.

  • legalize marijuana so i dont have to move to amsterdam hhaha but seriously marijuana makes people happy and i support it any day cigarettes is fuckin poison...i agree with you spinnernet!! just let people smoke their weed and be happy

  • The War on Drugs began as racist reactionism around the turn of the 20th century. Fact. And you can even still see that today regarding arrest and incarceration rates being disproportionate towards blacks, while drug use is more or less uniform across all ethnic groups.

It's not only a gigantic infringement of liberty, but a gigantic waste of resources. Everything the moralfags say about drugs is wrong, and I feel real sorry for the people buying government propaganda hook, line, and sinker.

  • Marijuana kills brain cells so it is bad. People while they're high on drugs have no control over their actions, so they might end up doing something stupid like kill or hurt someone or commit some other type of crime.

  • @greenparrot5 Marijuana does NOT cause people to be violent. In fact, it has the opposite effect. Marijuana calms people down and makes them feel relaxed and happy.

And the marijuana "killing brain cells" argument is a myth. That's already been debunked.

  • @spinnernet1 No, but other drugs can make people act crazy. Like I said, people have little to no control of themselves when they're high on drugs which means they might end up doing something really stupid.

  • @greenparrot5 ALCOHOL can make people act violent and "crazy" and yet that's not banned. It's been proven that alcohol makes people act much more violent towards others than illicit drugs do.

As I've said over and over again, most drug users are NOT violent. Most of them don't hurt other people when they're high. Most of the drug users in prison are NON-VIOLENT drug offenders. The stats prove my argument.

Anyway, we'll have to just agree to disagree.

  • @spinnernet1 Lol. Well. I'm gong to do a little more research on drugs and marijuana to see what I can find. You seem to know a lot about those which is good.

  • @greenparrot5 no it doesnt marijuana makes everything better and it makes people happy

  • spinnernet for president

  • Spinnernet i agree with everything you said except one thing: My brother was on marajuana. and he spent 6 months in adn mental hospital because it fried his brain.. so it can hurt you

  • thumbs up if you think Spinnernet should have a channel for vids likes this

  • @degeneratesharingan2 goverment

  • Why is this Video Disliked at all?

  • Hey Spinner, you should do more videos on topic like these. You've got a great opinion. I think it's hilarious how when something is legal and people will flip a lid at s omething like Marijuana, when it's no worse/better than the same shit they put into themselves. Turning us into hypocrites I hate it.

  • lol this is more of a spinnerpoliticalnet

  • @PrinceDreLance lmao.

  • I feel that this somehow ties in with Matt Hardy being arrested over the weekend, lol.

  • @thefairfaxian Matt WHO? Lol. No one cares about Matt Hardy anymore.

  • sorry but you are CRAZY tons and tons of ppl die from drug abuse. how would you feal if you found your say 12 year old childed token up in thier room huh. drugs make ppl do things they dont normaly do. Your crazy im sorry what are you saying that every drug atic should be allowed to walk the streets. you said that you can see ppl going to prison for murder and theft. drug atics steal to get a fix , they kill to get what they want, im sorry but you have no sense

  • @nibbler167 Throwing someone in prison for using drugs is dumb. A lot of drug users need rehabilitation, not prison. Throwing someone in prison for abusing their own body makes no sense. I never said that children should be allowed to use drugs, so your "12 year old child using drugs argument" makes no sense, because I don't believe in children using illicit drugs.

Most drug users who get arrested and thrown in prison are NON-VIOLENT, so they SHOULD BE ALLOWED to walk the streets freely.

  • @nibbler167 (continued) The only drug addicts (you can't seem to spell the word) who frequently steal to get a fix are heroin addicts. Drug addicts do not usually kill other people to get what they want. You're confusing drug addicts with DRUG DEALERS and DRUG CARTELS. Please learn the difference.

The fact of the matter is that most drug users are NON-VIOLENT and most of them only hurt themselves. That's why 20 percent of people in prison are NON-VIOLENT drug offenders as I said.

  • @nibbler167 I don't really think it's necessary to disprove all the falsehoods you just spewed, seeing as spinnernet has already made the counterpoints. However, nothing you said is anything more than exaggeration and propaganda tools; and although there are some negatives to drug-use, the cons of criminalizing drugs outweigh by a 100 to 1 ratio. You're a victim of disinfo, now spreading misinformation; and you're stance is absolutely, factually, intellectually WRONG. Drug laws need reformation.

  • @spinnernet1 not to get personal but do you get high?

  • @Alan56713 No.

  • They only ban marijuana because it can easily be grown itself and would damage economy with government not making profit from pot sales.

  • good to see mostly wrestling fans here expressing there opinions on real life situations.

  • come on Spinnernet thats not the straight edge way of talking lol

  • we do have anti-smoking ads in Canada

  • HEYHEYHEY, Smoke weed everyday!

  • nobody ever dies from marijuana..... r u actually stupid?

  • @loop582 I'm not. Are YOU? Lol. As I said, no one ever dies from marijuana usage.

  • @spinnernet1 yo spinnernet big fan but im afraid ill have 2 disagree. If u look at the totality of it, weed is a bigger killer. Marijuana has over 100 times more carcinogens then cigarettes. Weed then leads 2 ppl trying hard drugs like cocaine and heroin (as you have already said). U also say its only affecting the person taking the drug, not true. Drugs ruin families and friendships man. Also if someone is high or whatever not only is the life in danger, but so is someone/many others too.

  • @loop582 Marijuana does NOT cause cancer. There's already been a ton of research on it and there's no evidence linking marijuana to cancer. So you've got a lot of false information.

Marijuana is not a gateway drug. Most marijuana users never go on to use harder drugs. Only a small percentage do. The vast majority of drug users today ONLY smoke pot.

Hard drugs can ruin people's lives but drug users should not go to prison for using drugs. Most drug users are non-violent.

  • @loop582 you have no idea what your talking about......weed does not lead to shit people just love to smoke weed and be happy marijuana is a gift from god and was put here so people can be happy weed does not ruin anything it enhances peoples minds and thoughts.....you just havent smoked weed so thats why you hate on it..try it then lets see what you say

  • @crictor709 weed a gift from God??? Oh dear...... No i haven't smoked it. I'm 16 u freaking looser. U obviously smoke weed because u r very lonely and have no friends.

  • @loop582 hahhaha i'm 16 too and you just proved my point you haven't tried it so there for you know absolutely nothing about it you just know what adults who don't want you to do it have told you.......you just look stupid for saying negative things about something you've never tried when you grow a set and try it then youll realize i'm right your just so immature and young minded...kinda like a little 5 yr old.....

  • @loop582 You're calling this guy a loser because he stated the obvious truth? You clearly don't know anything. There's a reason your brain has receptors that react to naturally occurring chemicals; and it's not so that the government can put a ban on it. Some people might be lonely and smoke weed, many more don't smoke and are lonely anyway. I'll give you a pass since you're cognitively immature and prone to propaganda-driven group think. Hopefully one day that'll change.

  • pot doesn't hurt anyone but cocaine and heroin do. Dont believe me go ask any south american country ,mexico or afghanistan. They'll tell you that drug addicted americans fund the drug cartels and taliban that kills their people and tears their countries apart. As a taxpayer I have absolutely zero incentive to pay for some druggies rehab. I dont care if a druggie dies

  • id toke up with the spinner any day

  • @spinnernet1 If something is illegal, people are going to rise against to do it, graffiti, drugs etc. There's nothing wrong with them, it's you doing what you wish to do, it makes my head spin.

  • look up the 13th amendment (and read it carefully) and u will kno y they keep people in prison for so long...(the longer ur sentence the more money they make off of u!)

  • Funny i just got done watching The Civil War On Drugs from WKUK lol

  • war on drugs is a success. its not about keeping people sober. its about keeping the prison industry thriving. humans have witch hunted each other for 500,000 years. this is just the latest means to keep the elite in power.

  • it's a more complicated topic than you'd think. grab me skype later and we discuss it

  • I don't care about legalizing pot, I don't have a dog in that fight, but i'd love to see them make cigarettes illegal to be consistent. Smoking kills more people than weed or any other drug ever could, and worse yet, since people do it in public it hurts bystanders. how shitty is it to be walking in or out of a store and having to breathe in some fuckhead's secondhand smoke? I choose to not smoke so I can live longer, I shouldn't have to breathe it in because other people lack self-discipline.

  • I can't believe a plant, a plant that grows on planet Earth by the laws of biology, is illegal. A green plant that grows from the Earth, is illegal? It doesn't make any sense. Weed is on crackdown more than heroin, cocaine, or any other drug you can think of, and it's virtually harmless. It's pathetic how this world operates. And when it's all said and done, money is the reason this happends. Fuck any and every materialistic asshole out there. Just smoke a joint and stop wanting to have the best

  • as a pot smoker, i'm of course going to say weed should be legal, and I think it will be legalized soon, because the war on drugs is a total failure. If it shouldn't be legalized, it should be decriminalized.

  • Marijuana is used as a crutch for the Police so they can have a job. Alcohol also is damaging to your health yet.... it's legal. I really don't care about Pot becuase Im straight edge (Im not contradicting myself).

  • Nice video, great job! This gets me inspired to make a difference.

  • When something is made illegal, the only ones who have the power to peddle the illegal are those who call themselves part of FED! It is a very profitable law for the land pirates!

  • People who are treading on Ron Paul have not learned history well enough. With Ron, there are only two scenarios.

Scenario 1 - Ron Paul is not part of NWO.

The super-powerful globalist will not allow Ron to get to power. I would wonder why they would even let him survive till now.

Scenario 2 - Ron Paul is part of NWO.

There will be lot of deception to make you believe that NWO is losing and make you tread on Ron!

  • @MultiSamsoon

    IS RON THE THIRD MAN?!

  • i agree with you on most parts. but marijuana is not harmless dude. may not be as deadly as cigarettes but it still greatly increases chances of lung cancer etc and even brain problems.

    shocking stats though.

but i think that use of drugs and driving or working etc should result in a large fine or a strike system could be implemented with it

  • @TheBenMcLean

Actually, studies have shown that marijuana can cut lung and brain tumors in half.

  • How can you tell spinnernet is pissed? Because he didn't say peace at the end of the video.

  • Really a war on Blacks: deliberate policies used to target balck persons. disgraceful

  • war on drugs...I surrender

and cigarets are legal because its a product, which is fucking retarded. if i was president i would get ride of the drug laws so then the people stupid enough to die will and then that solves the population problem aswell:)

  • Comment removed

  • SPINNERNET 4 PRESIDENT!!!!!!

  • Chris Rock said it best..."The reason coke and weed are illegal in America is because the best coke and weed ain't made in America!" "Wouldn't be Starbucks...it'd be weedbuck!' Funny shit but true.

  • Lol

  • going off the title i can tell spin wants some of that sticky icky lmao just kiddin bro good vid

  • Fuck the government

  • It's actually 60% non violent sir

  • Absolutely Spin. It's an absolute no-brainer. Ppl being thrown in prison for nonviolent drug offenses is absurd. Mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenses is absurd. The criminal model of drug use is a relic of an antiquated system; in other words THE DRUG WAR IS FUCKED. It's almost annoying to have to make the argument b/c there are so many reasons on our side. It just perpetuates their system. Thank you Mass. for decriminalizing weed, many of us worked hard to make that happen!

  • Who wants pizza?

  • What's sad is only around 1.9% of rapists ever see hard time in jail, whereas a bunch of benign pot-smokers get stuck in prison for years when they didn't harm anybody. >_>

  • Spinner I do agree with you to a point . If some one wants to sit at home and do drugs they should be aloud to as long as they are not hurting any one ells . But once they get into a vehicle to drive then it should become a crime . I think think if drugs where legalized we would save money and crime would go down . As for alcohol in the 1920's the only good thing that came from that was NASCAR . Then you get into should it be legal for some one to kill them selves if they are dying .

  • WHAT A COINCIDENCE! I'm writing a persuasive essay on legalizing marijuana RIGHT NOW...thought I'd take a break and I found this. XD

  • @ToruKun1 Good luck on your essay. There's a lot of good videos on Youtube and a lot of good websites with good, informative information on this subject.

  • @spinnernet1

The info you dropped helped my essay a fuck-ton, believe it or not. :D

  • @ToruKun1 Check out a couple of videos that I favorited today. Those vids have some good information on them as well. Just go to my channel and look at my favorites.

  • the us goverment has been fucked up for years they killed jfk and set some guy up.

  • The prohibitionist are so addicted to this sacred cow they will milk the system as long as they can

  • Have you watched, "The Union: The Business Behind Getting High"?

  • @starcb26 No, I haven't seen it. But I just checked and I see the video is on Youtube. It's an hour and 44 minutes long. I'll try to watch it later in the week.

  • type in chris rock war on drugs.... enough said

    there's always truth behind comedy

  • also check out american drug war.com

  • Valid points, Marijuana can have some similar bad affects as cigarettes do, but yea you can argue that it isn't as bad as cigarettes. Yes there are exceptions of course like medical marijuana, but I don't think you can say that marijuana can't hurt people.

  • Was expecting to see a video about Matt Hardy but like the guy below said, that screw up doesn't deserve any more attention anyway, lol.

  • lol did u get busted with mj lol u sound m@d?

  • lol the US gov't ruins people's lives without trying.

  • The government are a bunch of drug dealers themselves with all of these prescription drugs that people get just because they feel sad sometimes. Weed is not nearly as dangerous as the the man made crap. I don't smoke it but I don't judge people who do. This silly "war" is a waste of time and money. People can get away murder but they better not get caught with drugs or its 20 years in jail. I hate this world sometimes.

  • @pamlovsy2j *can get away with

  • @FutureWweChamp No, I don't. And the video was only 21 seconds past 10 minutes, lol. But okay, lol.

  • And for people saying, "Well if you're gonna decriminalize drugs and get drug users out of prisons, why don't you let out murderers, rapist, etc." to be honest thats not a smart comeback. Most of those people who commit those crimes have been proven to have mental disorders and rarely use drugs compared to the ones who DO commit crimes on drugs. Like I mentioned early: What about families of drunk driving victims who have nothing to do with the War on Drugs? Alcohol is legal.

  • if only bob marley was alive...

  • vote for ron paul, its the only way to get things better

  • ...well murderers, rapists, child molesters and armed robbers are still out there as much as drugs, which lead to cause of a lot of deaths, so should we allow all those people to be freed too? Drugs are just as dangerous as the people who kill and hurt others that are in jail. Sure, marijuana alone isn't bad... but a lot of marijuana sold isn't just marijuana. It's mixed with a lot of other drugs that make it harmful and that's why it's become illegal.

All drugs & tobacco should be outlawed tbh

  • Im glad you're making a video about this, rather than that idiot Hardy. He doesn't even deserve the time of day.

  • To sum it all up, people are going to do what they want to do if no matter if the law is involved or not. And if the law is involved, if there was an opportunity to get away with doing what they wanted to do if it is illegal, then they'll do it. Hell, some people don't care if they get caught or not. In the end, no law is going to STOP drugs. And for people saying, "Well weed users hurt people indirectly", well tell that to drunk drivers who kill people everyday... But wait , ALCOHOL IS LEGAL.

  • @mungface36 Good rant. Yup, there's no way to stop people from doing drugs. They're gonna do what they're gonna do regardless. If the only people that they hurt are themselves, then let them do it. And marijuana doesn't even harm the drug user.

  • Weed is a god damned plant!

  • there is no point in weed. it's a big time and money waster. and if cigarettes and alcohol were to be illegal, everyone would go bankrupt and we'd all be in bigger shit than we already are. I am straight edge, and I never plan to smoke weed, EVER. I got better things to do. And weed is harmful, inhaling anything into your lungs, and keeping it there for a while, is not good for you. Also, with your heart rate increasing so much for a long period of time, theres a better chance of heart attacks.

  • id just like to say that its pretty ironic how the police force and the govt stress that substance abuse around children is sooo endangering to them, while it may be, its like pro life idiots. they cant comprehend the fact that one day that poor innocent child will wake up and be a 25 year old member of society that will probably smoke, consume alcohol, and have sex. but we should punish someone for smoking weed 2 rooms away from a child being occupied by a gta videogame...fuck the govt.

  • And legalising it will probably make it more prevalent, and/or cause drug tourism. You want America to become a place where everyone goes to get stoned, you enjoy the consequences of that. And xTheSiFi is right, the law is there to protect people more than anything else.

Oh and @MrDeathSmiles, I think that scientifically, the radiation is better against cancer than "being in high spirits and relaxed". The placebo effect doesn't work against cancer because you have no defences against cancer.

  • @Steelflex33 The country of Portugal long ago decriminalized drugs and that country HAS NOT become a place for "drug tourism". In fact, drug use and drug related deaths have DROPPED since Portugal decriminalized drugs 10 years ago. So that pretty much flattens that argument.

  • Ok listen up, first of all the law is there to protect all people that includes protecting people from hurting themselves, why do you think there has been laws on suicide?

Also a lot of people who do research on this stuff would disagree that marijuana is less harmful than cigs but in my opinion trying to argue that marijuana should be legal because it is less harmful than cigs is stupid to me thats arguing that cigs should be made illegal aswell.. as the law is there to protect people

  • @xTheSiFi People should have the right to do with their own bodies as they please. And suicide for the most part is no longer illegal in the U.S. Putting people in prison for using drugs if they don't harm anyone else is stupid. Punishing someone for hurting themself is stupid. Prison does nothing for drug users.

Several U.S. congressmen have called for the decriminalization of marijuana. It's virtually harmless. Cigarettes send many people to their deaths. Marijuana doesn't.

  • @spinnernet1 yep

  • Ok, marijuana is harmful, for some people (causes depression, and other mental problems). Cigarettes should also be illegal, but that's another matter. However, there is no such thing as a "non-violent drug user". People who buy drugs fund drug wars. Therefore, those people who use drugs ARE harming other people, just indirectly. Nearly all the most dangerous countries are linked to drugs. The only way to stop drugs is to stop the demand. Which is why there are such long sentences for drug use.

  • @Steelflex33 Drug wars and drug cartels can be eliminated if the government simply decriminalizes drugs. And yes there IS such a thing as a non-violent drug user. Most drug users don't hurt other people directly. That indirect funding of drug wars argument is a bunch of b.s. Blame the drug seller, not the drug user. There is no way to "stop the demand" for drugs. In the year 2009, there were 20 million drug users in the U.S. and only 440,000 of them are in prison. High demand remains.

  • i had to quit smokin weed cus i got caught......hurry up and make that shit legal

  • marijuana isnt legal because you can grow it in your backyard fast. the government cant make money off of it like they do with cigarettes. tobacco takes almost a year to make, thats why it is legal, the government can make money off of it

  • @spinnernet1 you're a JUDAHITE the drugs are put here by the GOVERNMENT.

  • The War on Drugs is nothing more than a war on personal choice. We, as people, as individuals, should be able to chart our own course through life as long as we're not harming others while doing it. I've lived a pretty straight edge life, however I'm also a person who would openly smoke weed if I had a severe illness like cancer, as it's more herbal and helpful than any amount of radiation. It eases your mind and calms your fears. When ill, it's best to be in high spirit and relaxed.

  • @MrDeathSmiles Nice thoughts.
