  • 1/6 americans are living in poverty. So much for greatest county in the world

  • Micheal Bay can make anything look awesome xD lol

  • Half of the dialogue Obama says is taken out of context

  • God bless Texas with a great governor. God bless Rick Perry.

  • is 1:19 from pearl harbor?

  • i dont support hiim but god that is one of the coolest things i have ever watched on youtube.

  • Perry RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thought this was a movie trailer...

  • @chicomendes2 It is, it's a movie trailer about the destruction of our REPUBLIC.

  • Liberals - monkeys

  • Look he fights for the government of commerce, education...

Oh, shoot. What's the third one?

  • @BeNeath0 Hypocritical much?? I thought you were a superior Austrian intellectual? lololol you can't even use simple grammar.. Kid, you're an idiot.. I won't be dying anytime soon, but I would be more than happy to kill you.

and what do mean by " and again i have proven " are you signing in on different accounts because you're a pathetic retard? You are a joke goof.. run along little tard

  • This is like a movie trailer.

  • @ToadsMGodes Is it ridiculous that i know more about your politics while not even living in the same continent? That is how the senate works. If there is no democrat majority in senate, Obama is unable to pass bills. It is that straight forward.

  • @tartantulakid666 Oh shut up, you don't know shit..I how the senate works, pull your head out of your ass.. Just make sure you vote for Geert for PM when the time comes.

  • @ToadsMGodes He'd still be a better PM than michelle bachmann as president and rick perry too ^^. If you know how the senate works, why do you challenge me. it's not like what i am saying is a revelation, it is a part of USA politics. So why are you talking to me like I have no clue what I am saying. I know more about your politics than most American citizens

  • @tartantulakid666 Lol... You don't what you're talking about, that's why I'm challenging you. I'm just enjoying listening to you make a fool of yourself with your arrogant ignorance.

The senate has been a democrat majority since Obama has been in office.

Not only are you completely wrong, but you think Obama is innocent, and not in any way responsible for the state of the economy. Obama didn't stick to anything he promised the voters, he only made things much worse.

  • @ToadsMGodes He had a brief period of time where there was a Democrat majority, but that changed at a certain point. When he wanted to pass his medicare, there was a republican majority and also for other bills. No president is ever innocent, and read throughout all of this futile chat. You will not find me saying anything about him being innocent. No president ever is. Americans are not ready to turn into a more socialist regime because they are confused and ignorant

  • @tartantulakid666 Idiot, it is currently a Democrat majority in the senate and has been for vast majority of his term. You clearly said in your comment above that Obama is not at fault, then you blamed the Republicans and bankers. That clearly implies that he's innocent of any wrong doing.

It's you who's confused and ignorant, that much is obvious.... Btw, I'm guessing that is you in your uploaded spider vids.. Why do you have an American accent??

  • @ToadsMGodes you are entitled to your own opinion.. but why dont i see ANY republican (i guess you are) comment on top? or why does the whole world laugh at america? I was born in the states and now live in europe (austria, one of the richest and social and intelligent countries in the world) where we learn and see and hear how sad it is to look at america when a republican is in office. you need to learn to get along with each other.. why always fight something that can work in the future?

  • @BeNeath0 You are a genuine idiot. Do you know that the real Austrians laugh at you behind you're back?... and for good reason, you're a joke! lol

  • @BeNeath0 I don't really know why that guy argues so much. I blocked him because his head is up his ass. If I have a top comment with a democratic opinion in a republic video, It shows how retarded most republicans are. They live in closed minds and think that everyone that suffers in poverty are uneducated idiots that didn't go to school because they didn't feel like it. Most republicans think that all people had the same privileges as them growing up.

  • im canadian

  • The more money a presidential candidate spends on their campaign ad, the less I trust them.

  • deucebag

  • Produced for wrestling TITANtron!

  • When does the movie come out?

  • Really Perry? You're trying to get people to vote for you, not go see a fucking movie. Cut all the freaking theatrics.

  • Why is there the Atheism 'A' at 1:24?

  • perry is for school budget cuts in texas!

  • Lies set to music and vivid imagery.

  • DUMBLEDORE 2012

but seriously, is it really fair to correlate our entire nation's recent failure to one person? i understand that the president is a figurehead, but economic failure is something that was long time coming. there was no way this was an instantaneous decline or anything. isn't it some kind of logical fallacy to take one issue that attribute a single cause to it? SINGLE CHOICE FALLACY

    hi.

  • I didnt know Micheal Bay was running for president....

  • Like Rick Perry? Nope.

    Like this ad? Duh.

  • lol when the movie coming out, too bad hes gonna lose

  • this is Epic

  • Prob the most intense thing I've ever watched

  • I don't like the guy, but that was awesome!!

  • Perry, Obama, Bush, Romney... what's the REAL difference?

All pro war. All pro foreign intervention. All pro central planning. ALL TRAITORS!

  • you learn nothing about rick perry, but this ad, motivates me to the extreme

  • Really great ad! I made up my mind to vote for Gov Perry before any ads... a good solid leader. I don't want someone who debates good but someone who leads good. We already have a talker in the whitehouse now and look where it's got us.

  • Rick Perry knows the number zero, wow!

  • I'd like the producers of this ad to to one about me. Then I could post it on dating websites.

  • no matter what no president can heal this country

  • Bravo. I would never vote Perry, but I would hire the ad-makers any day, for a blockbuster preview or something...

  • I can't believe that i had to sign in for this, but it was not Obama's fault. it was the republican's fault and the bankers's fault. Obama was already left with a mess after Bush's 8 years and was trying to salvage the blunders of G.W.Bush

  • @tartantulakid666 OK? Obama has been in office for almost 4 years and has failed majorly! A $340 Billion dollar stimulus plan that failed, the GM/Chrysler BAILOUT of $25 Billion, the unemployment-insurance extensions of $67 Billion,COBRA extensions, cash for clunkers, and loans to automakers for energy-efficiency improvements, obamacare, come on now you cant keep blaming the Bush administration.

    NEWT 2012

  • @tartantulakid666 Just a simple question for you.. Did Obama fix these problems that Bush left, like he promised?? Did he keep any of his campaign promises?? Please answer, I would like to hear this lol

I don't support Perry, but don't try to make Obama look innocent, he's been one of the worst presidents in US history.

  • @ToadsMGodes Again another person making me sign in for ignorance. How can Obama pass anything with a Republican majority? Republicans constantly deny bills simply because they come from a democrat. What you fail to understand is the fact that there is no way Obama can fix anything with a Democrat minority, no matter how beneficial it is to the majority of the nation. I answered your question and clearly i am not ignorant if I get the highest rated comment ^^

  • @tartantulakid666 yeah but the haters don't want to hear that.

  • when did jerry bruckheimer start doing campaign ads?

  • well that was.....EPIC!!!

  • OMG, WE MUST ACT NOW... wait, the election is still a year off...

  • This ad makes it seem like Obama's administration is about to bring about the Zombie Apocalypse. If so, I hope they eat Rick Perry's brain first!

  • @maibeike What brain?

  • I'd never vote for Perry, but gotta give credit where it's due; this ad is epic.

  • @1tephania The only contribution Rick Perry gave to this ad was signing of on it and getting recorded reading someone's speech.

  • Wow. SO DRAMATIC

  • holy shit this is epic

  • just... just stop.

  • This could be in a a movie

  • Im not into polotics but...Rick perry:Proven leadership coming to a theatre near you. It looks like an apocolips movie preview. lol nice add though.

  • Im not into polotics but...Rick perry:Proven leadership coming to a theatre near you. lol nice ad

  • @geffraydoesnotlikeu9 he's aka optimus prime

  • I am very liberal and, obviously, do not like Perry, but this ad is KICK-ASS!

  • America last hope for mankind ? Is this a trailer for a comedian ? :p

  • Haha Let's hope America doesn't choose Bush 2.0

  • @sarahgoldfish21 It already did (Obama).

  • He'll yeah

  • @Dfoulds28 no if Micheal Bay directed it it would have explosions and possibly the transformers

  • whos rick perry

  • coming soon ....

  • So even if he doesn't win, he can still use this as a movie trailer. Killing to birds with one stone.

  • I saw one black man in this ad, and Rick Perry seems to have decided that he's the anti-christ. Does that strike anybody else as fucked up?

  • @TheEradicator13 the deregulation of the banking system is essentially why we had that uncharacteristically bad depression, so it makes sense that the majoirty of people, who aren't in the financial sector, are ticked off. And being poor doesnt necessarily mean your an idiot, the biggest decider on a persons wealth is their location, as emphasised by development theorists.

  • Its like a goddamn Michael Bay trailer!

  • I am so gonna buy this game.. might even beat the Modern warfare 3 trailer

  • I counted 15 american flags (not with the repeat of the ones behind him as he gave his speech)...I'm not exactly following politics, but I found this ad still had a sort of empowering energy to it that made me want to like him no matter how much i disagree with him. Even though that doesn't make sense, all in all, I liked it

  • Dam, did I just watch a movie trailer?

  • We all get choices in life. I don't want Righteous Rick Perry for president. Didn't have to think too long on that.

  • This is the coolest ad ever! I got chills.

  • Anyone else seen Tim pawlentys ad? Looks exactly the same. Must have hired the same ad firm

  • not really a Perry fan, but that was epic.

  • Kinda like the thrill up my leg a la Chris Matthews?

  • disgusting

  • Rick Perry 2012. I'm voting for him.

  • did y'all see the luminaries symbol?!?!?! :40 seconds in to the video you will see the triangle from the luminaries.

  • "The united states of America really is the last great hope of mankind"

That kind of attitude is going to make foreign policy very hard don't you think?

  • @donpepperoni

Well we have the opposite of that mentality in the White House right now and it doesn't seem to be going so well foreign policy wise, so you tell me.

  • @bw01a If it truly were the last great hope then is it really a good idea to have a climate change sceptic in charge?

  • @donpepperoni

Actually yes. Because while some choose to fight pollution, the real fight is against human evil in the form of Islamic terrorism and other oppressions. If you were trapped in some God forsaken country like North Korea or Iran, you would expect the American military to rescue you, not some Greenpeace activist. Besides, it's wise not to reorganize the entire world's economy costing trillions of dollars over climate computer models that may or may not play out according to plan.

  • @bw01a First of all, why does it have to be either saving people in "godforsaken countries" or preventing millions of deaths due to flooding, famine and drought? Secondly, If you were to do any basic research or ask any scientist worth their salt you would realise it's not a worthwhile gamble to say that climate change "might not happen" when the overwhelming evidence says it IS already happening and the negative effects are already apparent.

  • @donpepperoni Finally, who are you to decide which people need "rescuing"? We did a great job rescuing the Iraqis didn't we... having military might doesn't give you the right to impose your values on people who don't want them.

  • @donpepperoni

And the "Last, best hope of mankind" phrase is from Abraham Lincoln, one of the greatest Americans and one of the greatest humans to ever live.

  • Cool ad

    But obama 2012

  • As long as Rick Parry brings jobs, helps to improve Science, & Technology i vote for him)

  • Not a Rick Perry fan, but this is one of the better campaign ads seen

  • Please vote OBAMA again !!! Let him go all the way.

  • I Believe, I Believe, I Believe, I Believe, I Believe, I Believe, Rick Perry LOL

  • EPIC

  • SO EPIC!!

  • @colonelwhatever whatch your language, and obama already ruined this country

  • "The United States of America really is the last great hope of mankind" Wasn't that from the speech in Independents Day? :P

  • Voting for you.

  • That's ironical!

  • too bad it was the republicans who actually destroyed the economy

  • @hamiltonjsh I can't wait for the Blame Obama Era.

  • Like the ad hate the candidate.

  • The preview of the decline of the Empire of the United States of America expressed in an impressive movie trailer format.

  • why am i not taking this guy seriously

  • @hockeydude471 because he is the status quo

  • So, this is what American politics has come to? The clever mass marketing of a man rather than expression of ideas that move people to action?

  • There's enough lens flares in this for it to be the Star Trek movie :/

  • I wouldn't say that I'm in Rick Perry's boat, but I will say that this ad was very well mad. But about the whole "world's last great hope" thing, I wouldn't say the last (with emphasis) great hope.

  • @Bumble8700 While I do not agree with the death penalty, the people being executed were people convicted of horrendous crimes. I said convicted, so this means he might not be the one who did it. Our legal system is not perfect. That is the reason why I'm not in favor of the death penalty. Just put them in jail for 40 years. Skip the cost of the death of the convict. What is he going to do at age 60-65 lol. We need a conservative president to stop the hand out generation.

  • @myover10018account Thanks for the reply and I respect your views I just dont think he is your guy to be President.

  • @canisrufus711

Wait a minute Obummer's party had the House and Senate for the first two years of his presidency and still controls the Senate. He is obviously an incompetent boob who has no ideas except to raise taxes and grow the size of government while draining the private economy. And why do you use the term ultra nationalist? As opposed to what? Is Obummer an ultra internationalist, ultra Europeanist? I'd rather have a president putting American interests first for a change anyway.

  • @bw01a he's not raising taxes, he's making them more progressive, which basically means giving the poor tax breaks whilst bringing taxes on the rich and corporations up to the same as pretty much everywhere else. As one of the most unequal societies in the world (including poor countries), what America doesn't need is more reaganomics or bush-era tax structures. And i was referring to Perry's American exceptionalism (a little to0 similar to Hitler's, i'll be honest, same language he used)

  • @canisrufus711

Yeah so how is that income redistribution going for you in the UK? Is it fair yet? Is it equal yet? If you have ever been to America, you would quickly realize the standard of living for America's "poor" is far better than the middle class in the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. The American system of free-enterprise, limited government, and individual responsibility have lifted millions and millions of people out of poverty. Your "progressive" taxes just spread the misery.

  • @bw01a Check your facts, if we class the "poor" as those living under the UN poverty line, you would see that 15.1% of americans are below that line, while only 8.2% of British people are below it. America is not exceptional, no country is; to believe that just shows a vast amount of ignorance.

  • @donpepperoni

People you might consider "poor" in the U.S. probably have bigger houses, more appliances, more computers, more property, and more cars than their counterparts in the UK. Also, "poor" in the United States is often a fluid term, there are many opportunities to escape poverty in America as opposed to most other countries, and people typically don't stay impoverished indefinitely. It's a shame because the tax policies you advocate only keep people dependent on the government teet.

  • @bw01a no, that's benefit systems. Progressive tax structures at the end of the day simply give people a better chance to prosper on their own, with more of their disposable income available to spend on things they need and less taken by the government.

  • @donpepperoni

Sure America is exceptional. We have done the most with what we have been given, even putting a man on the moon. Our values of Liberty, In God We Trust, and E Pluribus Unum as inscribed on every one of our coins also makes us exceptional. America also stands up and fights human evil, often against popular world opinion (So does the UK, Israel, and several others).Hundreds of millions have been lifted out of poverty by the American experiment. I'd say it's pretty exceptional here.

  • @bw01a Please stop spouting rhetoric, you sound like a parrot that's been living in a politicians home... Going against world opinion is not something to be proud of, in fact it makes you the 'bad guy' as the majority of people don't want you to act (it's called democracy)

  • @canisrufus711

And the reason you say America is so "unequal" compared to poor countries is because there is a great amount of wealth in America, as opposed to virtually none in a place like Cuba. But hey, at least wealth is "equal" in Cuba, right????? Also, if you cannot discuss American exceptionalism with any level of moral seriousness (Hitler? Really?), please don't bother attempting to do so. It makes you look quite dim.

  • I'm sorry, but a society where the top 0.01% of the population generate 13% of the wealth, something is inherently wrong. Free enterprise is a fantastic way to generate capital, but left to those whose primary motive is profit as opposed to the greater good, the end result is a divided, potentially crippled society. It says something I think that the 'we are the other 99%' movement originated in the US

  • @bw01a oh, and you should also read the 2005 summer issue of the Boston Review article: The Power and the Glory: Myths of American exceptionalism; although i would not be surprised if you simply described it as the work of liberal pundits (despite some quite scathing remarks regarding 'liberal' presidents).

  • Regardless of whether you like him, love him, or hate him, this ad was excellent and did exactly what it was supposed to do. It got people talking!

  • I'm scared

  • @deanhoward8 How can u expect him to make good changes, when the republicans are just shooting down all the solutions? Just curious...

  • Wow I have to say great ad other then that rather misleading.

  • @rcflyinguy2 Your funny.

  • @ContinuanceRS im right

  • @rcflyinguy2 Apparently not.

  • @ContinuanceRS ok who is the "great leader" you want

  • @rcflyinguy2 Someone who isn't the one above.

  • When a politician higher 2 steps from hell to make his campaign music there has to be some sort of inferiority syndrome. That music can make brushing your teeth epic.

Not to mention all the statistics played in the background were from only 1 month, august. So if I have one bad month must get unelected from anything. Love the logic.

    HUNTSMAN 2012

  • He did kept his word about "Change" he just never said it was for the better now did he?

  • "It's time for style over substance, it's time for a new america........that ad didn't say how they were going to fix anything?"

  • He might be a good leader and he might lead the country in a new direction...only problem is that it's the wrong direction.

  • @Heimunen So Obama has led this country in right direction? And direction specifically, do you think Perry will take this nation?

  • Does anyone know the name of the theme he used in this ad?

  • @BSGabesterrFan Yes, it is called "Proven Leadership" .

  • @RickPerryPresident Do you know where i can find the theme by itself?

  • Where are the giant flying robots?

  • Dumb comments like that don't make you a better leader than him.

    (willross) atta boy rcflyinguy

  • Dumb comments like that don't make you a better leader than him.

    (willross)

  • When's the movie coming out?

  • anyone else getting chills from this?

  • Obama did the same exact thing in 08", presenting himself as some sort of messiah with over dramatic melodramatic speeches with no substance, and most americans bought into the empty rhetoric because there dumbasses, now u see he is nothing but an empty suit with no ideas. So if u didnt have a problem with obama doing stuff like that in 08' u shouldnt have a problem with this ad. Its quite franky pretty impressive, one of the best ad's ive ever seen.

  • @ContinuanceRS So you'd rather have president downgrade who has weakened & put every person of color in the poorhouse? God help you. Perry 2012!

  • @BlackRepublican2010 The phrase "God help you" should be redirected to you.

  • bahahahahahaha

    oh wow. oh wow.

  • @NM2HI2TX Are you quoting Philip lol.

  • @WillRoss92 you can tell that to Obama who did the exact same thing.....

  • @TheArenExperience think about it though. Im not saying that Bush was perfect, but the debt didnt increase NEARLY as much as is has with 4 years of Obama. How many years was Bush in? O yea now I remember....

  • @joelibermann Obama didnt have solutions either bud. Its worse that ever in the US

  • I dont give a shit if you like Perry or not. Its fuckin EPIC!

  • Maverick 2.0 Except I'd vote for a dead McCain before I vote for this guy.

  • @guymandudeful but they got Obama anyway.....

  • How is this video bashing obama? its just quoting him. his words seem silly when you actually hear them huh?

  • You have to admit this is epicly made
