I wanted to say how much I love this video, you really do make amazing BoB videos. Though I do have to agree with all the posts that say that Webster wasn't a pariah. Pariah means an outcast or a person who is generally despised or avoided.  Someone like Sobel or Dike

I still think Web fits here for Pariah though, in episode 8 he is an outcast because he wasn't in bastogne. I wouldn't count Sobel or Dike as pariahs because they are officers and as such their being removed from the group is part of their job. Webster isn't perfect for it, but I don't think anybody is really in BOB.

I love your vid, But Webster maybe an outcast here but in real life he definetly wasn't. In the book is BoB is written that webster was more an observer than a participant in the war, he had a rule to himself that he wouldn't volunteer for anything and he declined several promotion offers.

In his letters to his parents he wrote that he was eager to go back in after Normandy because the germans had killed his comrades in trapped in their parachute harnesses and an entire aid station

Just how many times I am going to have to say this I wonder, Webster was a outcast at the moment in which I show him in contrast with the word Pariah. He had just been fobbed off by men he considered to be his friends and told in no short terms to get lost.

I picked to use that moment because I don't think any of the characters in BOB can be seen as Pariahs at all. But in that moment webster is.

I must admit I wasn't to sure what Pariah meant. I took it to mean the forgotten (basically because that's what google search told me) which Webster very much is at the start of episode 8.
