That is what I call Dancing Together. The emotional interaction in a couple over physical ability (power dancing). Couple Dancing is an ability to attract your partner and everything else is secondary. True dance couples like: Max/ Yulia, Karina/Slavik, Kraycher/Golchak with emotions and great story and acting vs marathon runners like Malitkovski/Joanna, Yulia/ Riccardo and copycats that follow with nothing but physical ability to get there from heat to heat from 0:00 to 1:30.

I think Riccardo is of a frame for Yulia than partner, and he frames her very well. Its easy to see how they're doing so well together. But there is worlds more chemistry between Yulia Max, and entertaining to boot

you know, you look at dancers like ulia and it almost makes you cry. there are a lot of good dancers out there, but her precision and ability to stay in character the entire time is a rare treat. shes absolutly gorgeous too. that helps. hehe. even when she messes up(the sit thingy at 2:51) she still manages to pull it off, and make it look like it was his fault! hehe. i will always love them, no matter who comes along. I LOVE YOU MAX AND YULIA!!!!<3

Cute dress (and socks)! :) Dances are always better with the right costumes... This isn't their most complicated dance but it's one of the most fun ones Yulia does.

I know they have to keep eye contact with the judges, but it makes me feel like that gives them less connection with each other. Anyone else feel that it would look better if they were to spend more time interacting with their dance partner?

she is doing the movements with such a strong simplicity that sometimes i think that i can do that...evan if i am i a latin & ballroom dancer i can't evan do i single step like her...she is unique and i will never stop fighting and learning to be better then her one day...:)

well yeah obviously slavik is a better dancer. nobody can argue w/ that. as a whole though, i enjoyed this one much more. i luv karina but i hate her jives. i dont know what it is she just looks so weird doing it. i think she stomps on her feet too much & that makes her look awkward. yulia is much more graceful. i prefer yulias style.

Slavik is not better dancer. Actially one can not compare Max and Slavik. They are very different dancers. Max is mach smaller and by nature can not dominate dance flour like Slavik can. Insted he does very sharp movements with a lot of details and very saturated routine. Very smart dancing, as it create ideal background for small Yulia, making her softer movement more notisable. Max is allway coming to bit faster. He is definatly brains behind this couple.
