Actually a bankruptcy can be removed. You have the right to dispute under the FCRA. Legit firms such as Lexington Law have done it many times. Remember, the 10 years is maxinum, NOT a minium of a bankruptcy having to be listed for 10 years. After 2-4 years after the case being filed, the case is moved to the federal archives which take longer to retrieve and won't respond to the credit reporting agencies usually in the required 30 days.
