  • I am sixteen years old and have just recently decided to revisit the TV shows I loved as a kid. Turn's out I still love Liberty's Kids!! Haha, I remember the HUGE crush I had on James when I was eight!

  • all schools shoud use this it is very fun to learn

if you caklate it wil be 1990 out of 2000

  • They said that Tom's friend was a really good military-man, but then he took a bullet to the knee about 5 minutes later.

  • that akward moment when sarah is pretty much the only girl in the show

  • @girlyballerina22 I know right, how awkard is that? She's sorrounded by testosterone like pretty much anywhere she goes. She even LIVES with testosterone. Lol

  • I`m 17 and this is still amusing.

  • @Bmoney71000 I'm almost 17...does that count? :3

  • @Bmoney71000 Lol, I'm nearly 21 and I've enjoyed this show since I was 12 :P

  • i wach this every day I LOVE IT

  • @HawkEye4071 I don't think so. When I was about 4, 5, or 6 I would wake up at 6 in the morning just to watch it. I tried to find this on tv for my little sister who is 7 almost 8 to see. I showed her the theme song and she loved it.

  • Are Tom and Sarah's father's brothers?

  • Oops. Forget I added the apostrophe in "fathers".

  • @KBAFourthtime Hmm they might be. Hence, Tom also has Phillips. So could make Sarah's dad and his dad brothers

  • Rest in peace, Walter Cronkite.

  • Orange Beach Elemetary loves it. :D.

  • is this still on TV? i LOVED this show as a kid and i still LOVE histoy...it really taught me a lot and it was fun to watch

  • @HawkEye4071 I know right

  • I think think this is good for kids

  • 9:16 guy's huge schnozz

  • Henri and Sarah are the only main characters that are straight-out European.

  • I was 6 when I first watched this. I'm in college and I still love this show >w< ♥

  • this was my fav cartoon on saterday morning

  • @Hiomie we can never be sure but their is evidence that the Brits fired first, for one 8 Americans were killed and more wounded and the British suffered no casualties, at least not at Lexington

  • @Bwkjam: In all seriousness, what about Concord? Did the Redcoats suffer any casualties?

  • The sad thing about history is that we can never know if what we learn is the absolute truth. Often we only get one side of the story, the winners version. I wish i had a time machine so that i could see for myself what really happened in wars like this.

  • @Hiomie here is always more to a story

  • @wfl19 That's basically what i was trying to say. There is no way to to be sure we are getting the full story because we usually only hear one side.

  • then it re-appears at 3:00

  • ha ha his bag dissappears at 2:44

  • i wish they made a adult version of this. i mean that make even be more educational since they kinda had to censor some of the war since it was ment for kids.

  • man so good nd educational for my history class, but antways i luv liberty's kids

  • I havn't watched this in years what a coincidence that when i find this vid it's when i'm learning about this in school

  • wow i love these vidieos.........thy help me learn historyso much better!!

  • i love these

  • henry, sara and james live through years and years of history without aging a bit

  • Best line so far: 6:51--"The wall will work better if you duck behind it."

  • how many people think that watching this helps them understand history better?

i know it does for me and im a junior in high school :D

  • @smokeydirtcat13 it doesn't help when you're canadian ..

  • @smokeydirtcat13 i do its a awsome way to learn

  • the shot at Lexington heard around the world

  • the sequence at 10:00 is like something straight out of a nightmare. Brilliant art and stock footage melding.

In fact they use stock footage a lot if you look for it, but I don't mind because they do a good job of threading it in. Love this show, watched the whole darn series like 3 times.

  • "darn! her together is faster than mine" lol

  • The darkest day in any war is the day the first shot is fired.

Brian's a real genius, isn't he? "Tom, we're being shot at!" No duh, Sherlock!

  • ahahahaha i used to watch these on PBS when I was like 6!

  • @xosophiegrl I'm surprised PBS showed this due to the fact that PBS is Kid friendly and they allow the use of firearms

  • i watched this at school, and it was awesome! then, i watched the entire series on youtube. thanks LibertysKidsTV.

  • Who didn't love this show's transitions! :-D

  • I remember these had bonus features in between scenes, like the rebus where you had to figure out a word related to the show. I wonder where I can see them again.

  • my teacher shows this 4 work in class

  • i like how sarah has a british accent and her cousin doesnt, and i wish my school loved this show as much as i do! and im also in middle school!

  • @banshierocks You may not kno this but he is a CARTOON! Maybe you are one

  • I watched this in 5th grade and i still love it :)

  • Comment removed

  • @gadanda Tom's death is pretty sad!

  • Ha! I'm 22 years old and the good stuff never gets old! GO AMERICA!

  • @Nikalian88 No, go British! I seriously rant about why the British were right every 4th of July! Trust me, I love America, but Britain is right!

  • haha i remember watching this back in millde school

  • i'm in 8th grade i still like this show!

  • brian johnson!!!!! :D

  • Are the boy and the girl gonna get it on?

  • I just want my class to see this, FUCK FUCK FUCK. But, I love Liberty Kids!

  • Yes it does. This used to be my favorite show as a kid i went to my daycare and watched the two episodes that came on daily. because of watching it i made honor student in 5th grade and my Sophomore year.

  • Is that John Goodman?

  • They say the British were Bad....

But we werent exactly the "good guys" either

  • @SodaScout If the British had treated us like fellow english and given us our rights, they wouldn't have los us.

  • @SodaScout war is war. the brits killed and pillaged us. while george wasington massacred entire tribe of indians. killing them all.

  • @SodaScout In war there is no such thing as bad guys or good guys. War is blind but it has done enough to help us move forward.

  • @SodaScout we both had our share of good and bad

  • i remember this show coming on in Nebraska at 3:45 PM everyday!

  • @TheMrsamuelson i love this it made school more interesting lol

  • I like this show

  • has anyone figured out who the bastard that fired was?? i don't think it was the colonists, and i'm pretty sure it wasn't a british guy...

  • @RinRinDance1123

    Nope,

No one has ever figure out who did ever since the shot...

  • @RinRinDance1123 Does it really matter?

  • love it my teacher shows it to us.

  • darn her together is faster then mine james oh my god he cracks me up

  • Noooooo!!!!! it was a mistake!!! Stop firing!!!!

  • @neumab100 i think maybe its to prevent fights on youtube to who commented first or something. i see that alot

  • It must of had to been a discharge because if that shot hit a soldier then we would of known, but it was either a missed shot or a discharged

  • maybe someone was sneaking around the background and wanted to be a dick and fired to provoke this...

  • did anyone figure out who fired? cuase i dont think it was the britsh because the were under command, but dont think it was the colinest eiether....... i think that it was someone who accitdntley fired like they slipped the triger or the a warning to be carful

  • i know this might not be too realistic, but couldn't they have found a way to tax the entire British empire equally to pay off any debts and fill the treasury?

  • 5:33 broad daylight, red coats, on top of a hill, and you're trying to operate a SECRET MISSION?!?!?! no wonder the Brits didn't win! =P

  • @draginoid2000 that's what the taxes were for, which is basically why the colonists rebelled: they believed they should be able to levy their own taxes. other reasons include not being allowed to expand their territory westward, and selling to and buying only from the British and to no other country (anti-captialism).

  • I loved this in Elementary school! I remember it never showed someone die, just a musket fall on the ground.

  • This obviously does not show the horrors of war, most likely the Americans fired first.

  • 9:49 "were being shot at" Well no duh :P

  • i wish we could know who fired it wouldn't have made any difference though would it???

  • Dont hate me for saying this, but, Im a loyalist

  • Teaches you about are history but an a boring or studying just watch and learn easy :)

  • wow some of u people are in middle school and u whatch this? im in elemantry and im wacthing this in social studies!

  • @iamdisccomp Yep! It teaches us middle-school students a lot about history!

  • @iamdisccomp haha I'm in high school and I'm watching this for the memories =) Grade school was the good times!!! XD

  • I love this series but I wish Sarah wasnt so gay, ugly, and clueless.

  • @Skittles321GO that's mean. Sarah is my fav. character. i know everyone is entitled to there opinion but, that's just mean.

  • @ShadesAndRover Yeah, it is mean. Sarah's straight, pretty, and well-informed. Even though Henri's my fav ^_^

  • @Skittles321GO i hope you mean happy pretty and smart

  • I bet british is STILL pissed off that we formed our own FREE country where we can VOTE on what WE want. Instead of some BITCH ruling over us. Yeah im talkin to you mr OLD kind of us.

  • @Skittles321GO doubtful.

  • My class at school watches this! We all love this!

  • @LibertysKidsTV dont you love this show they should have made one bout the civil war dont you agree man i wish they did that

  • @zombieman48 Wikipedia says, may not be accurate, but it says the creators of liberty's kids are considering a sequel, yeah!

  • best show ever!!! i love it!

  • This was the episode I saw last Friday. For a kids show, it's a bit scary. I mean, really, someone dies! I saw this along with Schoolhouse Rock's The Shot heard 'Round the world and others. When I heard that gun, I though that everyone in the whole school could hear it! :)

  • My history teacher said that the shot was probably fired by a colonist- they're undisciplined, outnumbered, and frightened by the portion of the British army they're arguing with. It makes sense.

  • It's very educational our youth hasn't seen the colonial times through people their own ages. We must respect the people who fought for us. And we shall love our country forever more. Thank You!!!!!!!!

  • no nerd

we must watch this show so we can learn more facts 'bout dem colonial times so we do good in middle school social studies

    DUH NERD

  • "Darn! Her 'together' is faster than mine!"
