  • Is that BA's first B777?

  • these are old style first and business class

  • the portions of food on airlines are getting more and more puny. its pathetic what they feed you for the flight duration.

  • i am going to mauritius on wednesday and going on a 777 and sitting in NEW club world

  • nice video man! if the quality was better it would be good but i dont realy mind that! NICE VID

  • WOW!!! awesome vid!!! I never knew a plane can house all 4 classes!!!! :)

  • can anyone tell me if this is a 777-300 or a 777-200??? thank you in advance!

  • @johnsalchijohn 777-200ER, one of BA's older/early delivered GE powered ones. These normally operate the Middle-Eastern and East-Coast US routes.

  • I wonder how long BA will keep a 4 class cabin. The economy capacity is very limited, but maybe its working for them? Anyways good video. I wish i were able to go walk around airliners like that.

  • Hey, nice video. This very aircraft brought me and my family back from Barbados back in 2010. The seat that you pass on the left hand side at 1:01 is where me and my father were sat on the return journey. Cool video, brought back awesome memories.

  • UM REALLY....HMMMMM OK

  • i was on a BA 777 in 2001, LHR to IAD. thanks for posting the video

  • omgg this video is sooo old now they have new fisrt classes and new club classees

  • What's the name of the music?

  • Crappy legroom in Economy; 31".

No frequent flyer miles on Y tickets.

  • @TheSemsem55555 31" is standard on most airlines e.g. Virgin and American both have a 31"

  • how come you were allowed in the cocjpiot

  • Love the music, whats it called and whos it by? By the way, all BA 777´s with Rolls Royce engines have crew bunks.

  • @bakerpaul not all of them do actually.. only the 300 series aircraft have them, the rest have crew seats based in each cabin :)

  • going on one tomoz - cant wait!!

  • What crappy camera did you use to film this?

  • wow.. wood in first class bathroom.

  • woww thats a big plane, first time i see it like this...thnx cool

  • what song

  • What's a "Galley"?

  • This is a really old video. Since this was taken BA has refitted its' Club cabins and now refitting their 1st cabins. Try searching the web for a more up to date viewings of the cabins. Apart from that its not a bad picture of what its like onboard a 777!

  • Excuse me mr pretentious...lets get a few things straight.. when the video was filmed it was not intended for youtube and It was filmed using a mobile phone hence the lack of quality in no way was it meant to be a high definition factual documentry into the interior of a Boeing 777. So stick your comments up your arse!

  • @speedbird757 nicely done!

and was this before a flight?

  • @kenramonet ....you may not like the video...But I did! Gives a great overview of BA's 777, and it looks like a nice config. 777 is one great plane!!

  • @kenramonet who the fuck are you mr.fagbag.

  • @kenramonet actually u smell bad cuz U R CRAP

  • @bieberhater555 do they even sell smell usb generators now then...

  • @mrolegkorol idk

  • @kenramonet Welcome to youtube sweet heart

  • Call me dumb but what are those brown seats in club class in the middle? Are they just brown seat covers or what because i can't really see because the video isn't all that clear but it also looks like a gap between the seats does anyone no what they are?

  • theres no real gap between the seats, the brown is the back of the club world seats. located here is the 'seat back pocket' where the british airways shopper magazine and highlife magazine are kept.

  • Ahh got ya. Yeah i can see that now you said thanks for telling me i wasn't quite sure what it was i couldn't quite make it out but now i ca see it so thanks.

  • Hey dude! Nice video!

Do you know if there is screens in the seats on the economy class, when they are flying to China?

The homepage says: That they have installed screens in SOME 777 .. so unfortunately not all of them .. but when it's a flight all the way to China, shouldn't there be some? :P

  • @Qawl On every BA trans-Atlantic flight I've been on, including 767s and 777s, from 1995-2010, every seat has had its own screen, even World Traveller (coach). Now, maybe BA runs more local Europe high numbers summer holiday routes with 777s without all the hop-ups, but i doubt it. I've never been on any airline for more than 7 hours where each seat didn't have its own display. Maybe in 1989 on a VA 747-200. I've heard of some U.S. carriers not doing individual screens on over-seas, sucks.

  • @d0rkiishchris 2 months ago I flew Boston-Washington (IAD) on a 757 (with United) that had no screens whatsoever. You can imagine my surprise when I heard the Flight Attendant saying that same flight was continuing to Sao Paulo, Brazil. 7 hours watching some guy's nape :s

  • i love british airways

  • what's the name of the music

  • Is that one of the Gatwick based 777's???

  • Is that one of the Gatwick based 777's????

  • i sat in the seat closest to you at 1:14.

  • I've been awn that plane :O.

  • i just don't get the point of premium economy

  • To applesweeter:

I hope Ive been helpful! ;)

  • u just wnt her cock :) hahahahahaah

  • First question: Because aircraft are cool and I still find it amazing every day a 747 can lift off

Second question: Because flying is very much fun

Third Question: To get to your final destination quicklY>?

  • love the video - thanks for posting coz I luv planes

  • ive only been on G-VIIK G-VIIO and G-VIIC

  • yey! im going spain soon! yeys for me everybody can someone tell me how its like in spain? and im going there only for the flight experience? and applesweeter i understand your questions.....i really really do good thinking dude!

  • beanguy wot dis shit?

u wan go dis plan cos u wan be raped by da fagots airlines peples in da anus lik lik do u boyfrind u fucking asshole fagot go fuck u self befor dem invoke da hatwrath n da hellfire praise praise dem rape u family o som shit

  • the Economy class is the same crap as United's

  • not really, you have a touch screen tv and brand new movies

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    *Why do we love flying?

*Why do we enjoy air travel?

*Why is flying a classic things to do?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • first question: because ever since we were little, people have always dreamed of flying.

Second question: primarily because we're going to see new places.

Third question: i don't get the question...

  • second question: because reaching a place by plane is completly different than reaching it by train for example!

  • To: m1r3o

What is the different to reach a place by plane comparing with by train? please explain. :)

  • I dont know.. I mean it feels like a you're in completly different world reaching a place by plane! I noticed the difference when I travelled to Prague(from Italy) by bus on a school trip ( I always fly to reach places in Europe!).. it didnt really feel like we went to another country! Probably because you're stick on the earth and you don't really realize you're getting in a different country! When you fly you have to pass all the security, check-in, gates etc etc..so it's just more exciting!

  • Longest i had was 23hours and 20mins, Heathrow to Sydney.

  • wow what plane were you on.

  • longest flight i i have been on was 13 hours and 30 minutes, vancouver to hong kong.

  • That's an old 777, our new ones are a lot nicer, especially in Club.

  • It really depends on your size(no offense) but if you weight like 200 pounds any class can be cramped. But if you weight like 70 pounds that economy can be like first!

  • I only travel first class. I need to travel Delta Burke airlines - Extra wide body jets with extra wide seats. (for my extra wide body, and extra wide seat.) Oh, come on. It was a comedy sketch on "In Living Color" back after she was fired from Designing Women.

  • Haha. WOW. Sounds nice. Where were you flying to and where from? I just went to LA with VAustralia on the new 777-300ER and the economy wasn't all that bad. I was actually very pleased with it all. The plane was amazing. Just like this one but the interior was nicer.

  • Looks nice. I'd like to travel with something OTHER than economy for once. Eh.

  • This is the old style cabin too. The new club world is even nicer. I flew club world a while ago and its fantastic. You get pre-takeoff champagne, proper cutlery + china plates with delicious food (not the crap they serve in economy),massage function on the seat that transforms into a fully flat bed,a bar area stocked with sandwiches, snacks and beverages which you can go and get anytime you want in the flight.

The only problem is going back to economy again is most unpleasant!!

  • deltaboy767 you get what you pay for and if I am going to spend 10,000 on a trip to London in First I want first class treatment and as a known fact alot of airlines get alot of there business from the upper class why would any airline want to get get rid of first ? ITs there for those who pay for it or need it like people who fly everyday!

  • Exactly. Nowadays, during the recession, people can't afford to shell out £3000 and more just to sit in BUSINESS CLASS, liet alone First Class. I travel economy and I don't care, it's not the flight that counts, it's the destination!

  • Uness the companys pays for it ^ ^

  • Lol, yeh I suppose :-P but I meant for a holiday unless you are super rich. Then again, if you wre super rich, why would you not fly in your own jet!! XD

  • NO WAY - it cost £3000 for business class????!!!!!!!!

  • Well, 2 and a half thousand and upwards, I suppose the price depends on the Airline. Super Economy only costs, like, £260 pp and you get fed. FIrst costs anything from £2000 to £10000, depending on the airline! BA are pretty expensive but they are a good airline IMHO.

  • what a load of crap, i can afford to fly First Class, and my family have earned that and choose to have that bit extra treatment on board a plane, get rid of first and airlines would loose a lot of business.

  • BA are a good airline. They are not the cheapest, but they are still good. Some people can afford a little luxury on a plane and so what? I'm hapy in economy because it's what I can afford.

  • They're much better than airlines like Delta... they're so fucking expensive... no in flight entertainment, nothing.

  • Yeah, I made a speadsheet about fares for airlines (I'm trying to find the best deal to fly from Heathrow to JFK and back again) and Delta was second most expensive (Virgin Atlantic was most expensive, but no surprises there...)

  • I flew on a BA 777 this week to Atlanta, and I was shoked at the size of the crew rest area!

They just have 3 cramped seats at the back of the Econimy cabin with a crappy curtain wrapped around them!

I thaught they had like propper beds and stuff.

  • heya, thanks for the comment, how was your flight on the 777? they dont have crew rest beds on british airways tripples. They do however on the BA 747. At the rear of the aircraft on the left hand side is a small set of stairs that leads to a bedding area just under the tail, theres not alota room, but its better than a BA economy seat lol!

  • Yeh it is a lovely aircraft. The new snazzy touch screen on demand TVs are good too.

Although my inbound plane badly needed an update! All the seats were all ripped and broken and some people's TVs didn't even work!

You are an aircraft groomer right?

Do you just do BA planes or do you do others too?

  • Well i do some other airlines aswell but mostly BA because it has such a big presence at the airport. The New Club world is nice! Much easier to clean aswell because the sides of it are plastic type material.

    Toby

  • BAs RR powered 777s also have crew rest areas non of the RR powered AC are at gatwick just the GE ones which Heathrow also has.

  • @speedbird757 So how was the General Electric GE90?

  • @AirCanadaA55555A The 777-200ER that run for Birtish Airways use RR Trent 800s, not GE. The 777-300ERs that are being delivered to British Airways at the moment have the GE engines as there is no alternative. You'll find most british airlines use RR engines (look at bmi for example, all their aircraft are fitted with either whole or part RR developed engines).

  • @jamlavaw Incorrect, they both run for British Airways, 29 Boeing 777-200ER have General Electric GE90-85B engines while the rest of the Boeing 777-200ER's have Rolls Royce Trent 895-17 engines.

  • @AirCanadaA55555A Ok, fair enough the GE powers their older 777s, I don't see why you're asking about how the GE90 is? Oh well... I don't look forward to the new club world, but I hope they get Concorde back in service again...

  • @jamlavaw Thats on a virge of unlikely and impossible.

  • What's so bad about it? Soft Jazz is nice

  • whats the little door for in the rear back galley?

  • The biggest wash rooms.

  • liar lol

  • what ? It is a washroom......

  • Crew Rest Area i think

  • best washrooms on this aircraft are right at the rear ! next to galley !!

  • Thats the old Club World! The New Club World is amazing !

  • i wonder where else this particualr plane goes. i know it come here to barbados from englend at least 3 times a week but .....

  • Comment removed

  • What's it like to be epically rich?

  • Alright mate, we don't all have money to burn like you!

  • i dont burn money i dont pay for it my company does

  • I've never flown on this aircraft before, im an aircraft cleaner for London Heathrow! I was just saying that because I've seen the new club world and also that is the biggest washroom. Im incredibly sorry if i caused any offence.

    Toby

  • If you've flown so much in First class, why don't you know that Virgin Atlantic doesn't have First Class.

Upper Class is a Business Class product.

So if you've flown EK's and BA's F services so much, you'd be bloody disappointed with Virgin Upper class if you were to think of it as First Class.

I sense someone has been telling porkies.

  • i dont no every single first class i just get told i am in this section because i dont pay for it

i wish i knew but i dont i enjoy it

  • how wide are the seats in World Traveler as i went to orlando with my travel three years ago and to was shit!!

  • Ah, the memories. When I flew BA102 from Calgary to London in August, I flew World Traveler Plus...great service, great plane, though the IFE was a little...er, dish-dash for the first 2-3 hours, but after they reset the system, it worked.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of one of the best experiences I have had in air travel.

  • Heh heh I'm a flight steward for BA - i've worked on this EXACT plane (VIIA!) how random to see this on youtube...

  • economy class is short! only one section! They have 4 classes and i think its great!

  • thats the old the new is amaizing.

  • sorryyyy i responded the wrong video! im meant to respond with the vid of cyprus airways "/

  • wow! thats amazing!!! thanks for posting..

    i ve been on a 737,a320,a321,a330 and a 767! :P

  • i took 777 BA to london

  • 3 and a half years now...i started when i was 10 and now i'm 13

  • lol last year with my kung fu club i went to hong kong with BA ans it was ok with 777 but on 747 wen we comeing back it sucks! the tv werent working and 40 minutes into landing...thats when they all start working....

  • Thanks for the tour! It's great to see the whole plane without having to sneak around :)

  • Well just look around and listen to the general public on pisshead weekend nights in england.

  • All countries think they are more superior than others. For example the Japanese look down on the Chinese, while the Chinese probably think they are more superior.

  • I am British, and I don't consider myself to be better than anyone else?

Where the HELL did you get that idea from?

  • No we don't.

  • First class is the best. It was the first cabin to be shown. Then business class is the next best.

  • Wow, they have so many classes. First, Business, Premier Economy, Economy... wow. I'm surprised. I like the simpler 2 class configuration better.

  • simple minds

    anerican (question mark)

  • What? It doesn't make sense to have all of these different classes, and plus all of their seats look old.

  • on most european and asian airlines

    first is the ultimate

    business is for businesss/wealthy travelers

prem econ is for people prepared to pay a bit more for a bit more

and economy is for regular peopel,as opposed to teh american system of first and ecconomy, which makes less money+ the seate arnt that bad but the business on this plane is the old one, most planes have now been upgraded

    .

  • Most US international airlines have Business class... Have done for a while.

  • does the 777 birtish airways have tvs?

  • hell yeah

  • I hate to think what a pressurized cabin is doing to my internal organs and veins. Never wear tight socks. its best to have no sock at all and do regular torsion flexes. united airlines always remind passengers to saty healthy whilst travelling on their tv screen and show simple excercises. not all airlines do this. Living in england i have to say that when travelling to america i wlays choose an american airlines as it gives a good feeling as going to usa rather than an british airline

  • yes they most certainly are at heathrow. Mainly the way they seem transparent. Thousands of people have noticed this. Just because you havne't doesnt mean others have not.

  • British Airways is a great airline company

  • BA staff are known for being quite rude in the check in areas

  • Because the Staff is at Airports where are outside their Hubs employeed from Jet Aviation, Swissport etc.

  • im flying the 777 in summer how is it?

  • i wish cyprus airways had a 777!

  • Beautiful boeing...

    Beautiful British Airways!

Nice footage - love the 777 and the 747s of BA, best looking birds of the sky!

  • What's the music guys?

  • we all know the boeing 777 is the best!!!

  • Naa, 747 is better

  • yeh B777 is awesome :D

  • economy cabin is so poor because there was not tv in the seats not like when i flown wiht virgin altnic economy in boeing 747 we got tv ans some games in the seats

  • Yes there is TVs in the econormy seats.

  • They do.The only reson you don't think there is no tv's is because YOU HAVE PROBABLY NEVER FLOWN BA.VIRGIN SUCKS

  • There are TVs and why did you fly with Virgin: they are rubbish and not to mention horrendously expensive!

  • may I ask how you got to take this are you BA staff?.

some T7s havent got a first-they have club there insted then another clouple of club rows behind galley 2.

I think BA have some brand new 777s due this year.I remember they got rid of two non-ER varients about 5 years ago now and one has now been scrapped.

  • been in first class..awsome plane..best plane ever..

nice flight always especially on first class

  • Comment removed

  • not as bad as some airlines

  • Like easyJet

  • Actually, easyJet isn't too bad, I've seen plenty of positive reviews since I wrote that last comment about them so I guess I'll give them a chance :D

  • Well yeh, most people don't have the money to sit up front though. I'm happy with economy as I can afford it and do other things on holiday!

  • Im flying World traveller plus and my father is flying Business... to Jamaica in 5 days =)

  • Oooh! Have fun in Jamacia!

  • Thanks!

  • You're welcome. Hope you have a pleasant flight: this year so many have been crashing.

  • I just got back, i had an awesome time! but my fly was delayed coming back...

  • Oh dear, bad weather?

  • Yep, it was very bumpy coming back, but still a amazing flight, Its Hurricane season in Jamaica (Im going back in August) =)

  • Oh dear, I hope it wasn't too bad and that nobody was airsick. How long is the flight? I hope a hurrucane doesn't strike when you are in the plane: that could be dangerous!

  • Well, my mother was ( we both flew world traveller plus) she has 2 sick bags. she is has a phobia of flying, It was 9:45 minutes. I hope it doesnt either! Im only young =(

  • Aw, hope she feels better, my mother also hasa phobia but she won't admit it :D.

Lol, apparently another one has crashed into the Indian Ocean this week, yesterday I think.

  • I know, i heard it. and the toddler is alive out of 153 passengers!

  • I know, a miracle that a toddler was the olny survivor, I thought all of them would have died.

I don't think I want to fly atm, too many planes are crashing.

  • What a miracle that is, i hope he can talk so (s)he can try and explain what happened.

:/ I have to 3 times a year, Cause im a Jamaican British, so i need to see my family alot. But your are right there are so many crashes this year, wow.

  • Well he/she may be too traumatised or perhaps not really understand what happened to be able to give an account. I tink they were five and that's really a little too young.

Well you fly more than I do :P. I fly perhaps once a year if I'm lucky (my mother's phobia) How long is the flight to Jamacia? I'm half-British half-Flemish but I've lived in te UK all my life. It'd be cool to have some interesting heritage lol :D.

I know, 9 so far in 6 months, that's more than some years had in total!

  • More than likely, sad.

Lol, i went to 22 times and counting, Im Just Jamaican, Both of my parents are Jamaican Born. My flight is about 9-10 and sometimes 11 hours.

  • I know, but if it's the only lead they have, then they'll try!

More than I've flown in all my fifteen years! Lol I'd like to have a cool heritage but my mother says that as we're british we needn't fly everywhere ands tay in britain. Are you Jamacian born too or are you British-born?

Oof, 11 hours at most! The longest flight I've been on is about 2 LOL!

  • Good.

LOL, Well we have hot weather atm, enjoy while it lasts.

LOL I never have been ona 2 hour flight!

and i take it your 15?

    and im British-born

  • Yup I hope they get somewhere.

Hehe I know but sometimes it gets too hot! I'm not burnt atm so fingers crossed I shouldn't lol.

I have an it's very short but we got stuck in turbulence and it seemed like forever lol :P plus we got delayed on takeoff because it was bad outside (snow and ice >:-( ) Yes I am fifteen but my cousin set up my account so it's her birthdate on my profile :(. You visit Jamacia a lot though eh?

  • Yep :)

My finger got sunburnt in Jamaica ;o

    LOL and mine!!

Ouch that happened to my cousin:/

    Yep i visit 3-4 times a year.

  • Lol, your poor finger, how did it get burnt and the rest of your body didn't? ^o^

Hehe, are you fifteen though as it says on your profile you are. Lol I hate turbulence (I don't get airsick in it though luckily)

Lucky, I'm saving for a trip to New York City!

  • Lol, i was right in the hot sun for like 30 minutes with no sun cream :/

    Yep i am =)

I LOVE turblence personally, (Good you dont get airsick) lol

Oh, have a nice time at the Big Apple!

  • Hehe, is it better now? Plenty of aftersun :P

    :D

It depends on the turbulence. If it's really rough, like throwing you out of your seat kind of tubulence then I hate it. If it's juddering and stuff then I'm fine. I'm glad I don't get airsick as well!

I'm not going just yet, but thanks, I will enjoy my time in NYC!
