I think it does depend on your fitness level. If I did this whole routine at the level they're doing it, my shoulders would be burning and probably sore the next day. However, I am overweight like many in the vid and over 50, and I'm just starting a workout program. I think this is a good shoulder workout for beginners and maybe intermediates.
Yelling during a workout can help increase your energy level and enthusiasm. It can help release tension. Also it forces you to take in more oxygen which is good during workouts.

do any of those exercises involve anything close to a workout? maybe im exteremely fit, but clapping usualy fails to give me an invigorating workout
