I'm all for getting to mars. However, the problem I see with his mentality is that it's too centered around avoiding technological improvement in order to conform to political reality. We need a cultural change, and this takes will. Ironically, this is exactly what he calls for, yet he places it only on the will to rush the project and not to emphasize the necessity as a world we have to do this. Increase space mission awareness, its successes and necessities.

This is great, but I can't help but think they could make an absolutely awesome horror film about this mission. Our ERV is broken, gotta get to the one 200 miles away, wtf was that noise. etc.
