This is the only TM game i played in the 90's and boy, this takes me back. i remember me and my bro visited my cousin during the holidays and he showed us this game. at first,i thought its gotta suck but man was i wrong. we played this game for hours. too bad that i didn't owned a Playstation during that time( could had been a TM fan!)

i only switch to the Playstation side when the PS3 came. i dont think the new TM will have that effect on me like TM 2 did but iam willing to give it a try. ;)

Born in '87, and damn am I glad to have been, I got to witness it all. The birth of these amazing games right before my eyes. Games were just made to have fun and play, I would come home from school and me and my older brothers would grab a controller each and tear this game up!

Now todays gamers are spoiled brats. Its all about looks, competition, and who is #1 on the leaderboards. I pitty them, only because those who were part of the 90s experienced the greatest decade ever.

Oh man i had some great times with this game. Best oldschool ps1 2 player game ever. However the endings in this game in 1 player mode. Pure classic nostalgia and i love it.

Im 25 and this game was the first game i had for my PS1 and i could not have been happier to "this" day that it was the game i chose. When the PSP came out there was no other choise for me than Twisted Metal Head On. Shame the Endings were nowhere near as good as in TM2.

Yes, all this 90's stuff is true. Cartoon Network wasn't garbage and it had good cartoons. Nintendo 64 <-- one of the most fun systems out there. I still like those games (I just beat Metroid Fusion the 5th time and bought a GC with all the hits), but the newer stuff is cool to sometimes. It seems like they out more thought into story rather then polygon count.

@davidevgen haha yeah. Games today lack the ambient. Sure the graphics before weren't as realistic or as detailed as today. But they did the right job of making those special 'ambients' of each game that just get stuck deep inside your mind. Look at the upcoming WWE '12 for example. The graphics are very detailed but the models kind of stand out from the background, some things are more while others less detailed. It ruins the ambient and looks rather weird.
