Great tone! and really good playing! You've probably seen the one early promo photo of a young B.B. King holding a black guard Esquire. I wonder if he used it on any recordings.

I have a nocaster too but my up position has the dog-house tone.. The middle setting is only the neck pickup. Did you mod your pickup switch?
