when a certain game doesnt work properly with epsxe,google the Video and Audio settings for that especific game.i found Kains Domain site settings to work with most games.or you can always try yourself different setttings...for example:my final fantasy 8 was all messed up and was simply a resolution problem...try it.

Well Digimon Rumble had to be better considering this one is alot older.

But in my opinion this one was alot harder to master since you'd have to actually take care of your digimon a bit like the Tamagoshis were at that time

You could even tell that by the fact that no matter how well you trained them they would only get has far has Ultimate and never digivolve to mega

Help me out with this... I'm using ePSXe 1.7.0, and whenever I finish a battle, it won't let me skip the money, and makes me wait for it to count out every last bit... and if I win an item at the end of battle, it just straight freezes.

for some reason my copies circle button doesn't work. so after battles I can't pick up items, which basically means The game is frozen and I can't beat it. the circle button works for every other rom I have. I've tried messing with the bios, the video, the game pad, using the keyboard instead of an xbox controller.

I tried using two ROMs for DMW. When I start playing at the beginning, the text boxes tend to glitch up, like the previous message gets overlapped with the next one instead of disappearing, making it hard to follow messages. I played this on regular playstation but damned if I have the CD now. I'm not sure if its the emulator or ROMs fault. I'm using the ePSXev 1.6.0 because the other one (1.7.0) won't start and I don't know how to fix it.

Its pretty easy to find.

First get a psx emulator then search sites for the game.

there is a pretty good site with tons of roms.

romulation . net

but you need points to download roms.

But youl get more points for free overnight.

And you start with enough points for about 3 psx games.

Also gba gbc and nds roms dont cost any points due to their small size :D

The way the psx emulator runs depends solely on your computer, the psx plugins, and the entire configuration of that specific psx video plugin you're using..

I did have one question... I tried to configure my keyboard but all the gamepads were greyed out. I plugged in my USB keyboard instead and it works. So only USB keyboards can be used? I'm playing Digimon World, btw.

Well, when I download ePSXe 1.7.0 a few months ago, I was able to configure the gamepad for the keyboard with no problem. I don't know why it's not working for you, but I guess it may be a PAD plugin error or something in the emulator because you should be able to play the emulator using the regular keyboard and not have to use an external USB Keyboard.

Eh, no matter. I've started playing DMW and am really excited. This emulator really works great. No lag or anything. I thought with 480MB of RAM, I woul be borderline laggy, but it turned out ok.

Alright my normal keyboard is working, but I have a huge problem.

I saved last night a bunch of times and when I go to load every slot is blank.

I looked it up and someone said to change the filename from .mcr to .bin, I did this and still nothing.

I tried savestates but after I load the savestate the game keeps making a very loud screeching noise.

Any advice for saving?

What ePSXe version you're using?

Well to my knowledge for version 1.7.0, the file extensions for the memory cards are .MCR, .MEM, .MCD, and .GME; So it might be best to re-download the emulator and take the "memcards" folder from the new download and paste it into your current ePSXe emulator's folder and replace the old "memcards" folder and see if that works. (That is, if you have version 1.7.0, I don't know about any other versions of ePSXe).

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Not really because when I would play my emulator, I could save the game to the memory cards as if the emulator was a real console.

Alright never mind, I think I fixed it. I had to config->memory cards and select the exact location.

It said memcard001.

It was supposed to say C:/Documents and Settings/epsxe/memcards/memcar­d001.mcr.
