  • there's nothing original about this sort of treated vocal nowadays. Sorry Bri, you're following rather than leading now.

  • 34 dislikes? fucking idiots

  • ...cloudbusting.

  • yeah... no comment

  • Well, I had another listen today and the Bose sounds just fine. What would you recommend to anyone wanting a good sound for gems like this?

  • The CD that this is from is just great and grows on you the more you listen to it. I had this piece on my Bose the other day and it was just great.

I also love Under and Just another day. ..........and then there is all his other creations. I have them on my laptop in the office( with a good 5.1 speaker setup) at work and they are of great comfort to my working day. Lucky I usually work alone and don't annoy anyone else who doesn't wasnt to listen. Cheers Brian for making good timeless music.

  • @mickeeking hello, I'm glad you love Brian Eno and this indeed is a wonderful album and song in particular, but I have to say that your Bose is not the right tool for it! How do I know? I worked in Bose sellings in my country, and to be honest I was very dissapointed by many systems. They are not so good, and to be honest doesn't worth the money! Many of their products are really very bad and expenive to! I was feeling so bad lying people about this products so I quit my job!

  • There's a great video on youtube of someone walking around Warsaw with this being the soundtrack. Search for 'Warsaw - Poland's Capital City'.

  • listen to yourself as the song slowly builds up. I think Eno is a fabulous arranger....

wonderful song to dream with, thank you :)

  • the day is cursed in shame...

  • from what album?

  • I never understand videos of clouds!

  • This is a masterpiece!

Brian Eno helps me write and explore a whole new world! I'm so glad I became obsessed with the Bip Ship from the Lovely Bones soundtrack

  • @nataliechristine2010 lol me too i love that sound track !!!

  • @nataliechristine2010 Hi if you like the song Big Ship then you should check out the band ratatat -spanish armada also very nice and keeps me inspired while drawing :D

  • This song makes me feel so blue :(

  • Well Done

  • Wonderful video! Great choice in images for the sound. Prefect!

  • Clouds must be in love with this world :o)

  • great.

    thank you.

  • The whole CD is remarable. It hit me immediately I heard it that 'How Many Worlds' from the same CD was inspired and then I found on here that Marrianne Faithful has recorded it so there you go. Brian Eno remains essential listening.

  • Mr Eno, thank you, you make such amazing sounds, I prefer your instrumentals, but this piece has a vocal that is ethereal and spooky and also intriguing. I like it! Beautiful, very chilled, very , I'm sorry, but I'm going to say it - NICE! Thank you sir Brian, GLGenius, as ever, peace and love Al x

  • I would love to be all like BITCH SUCK MY DICK...to this song

  • Grande Eno eppure Frippetto

  • I wanna have his baby...and I'm a guy!

  • I fell fast asleep to this last night.

  • a man that can do no wrong? how some manage to ever astound or surprise

  • wow...somebody who thinks outside the box...im afraid so im gonna hate on it instead of doing my own music..

  • fine fine tonmalerei

  • This would be a lot better without the vocals lol

  • Gay.

  • @Joysquigglesparkles Oh great another idiot who doesnt apreciates REAL music. Why dont u go to fk somwhere else and go to hear that shit called, what? ragaetaon! bitch" xDDDD

  • sounds pretty original to me.

  • aural orgasm! (forgive me), this is magnificent...feels astounding and the visuals take me to a place I've not been before...and want to refeel again & again--hence 'favorting'. fine work. changes this one small soul into one on the angelic plane. peace & thanks

  • @rapist41 Wrong. Some primary concepts of ambient music came from Jazz. Otherwise, electronical music came from rock, that came from Blues and Jazz too.

Anyone can tell and change the facts in the history. But in music, if you just listen and feel, you can find the truth. Music are not be discrimated.

  • And then so clear to wonder/To wake with open eyes/As the snow across the tundra/And the rain across the skies

So much again and weightless/In the motherworld of space/We fail to form to come to/And the razor mountains fade/And the day is cursed in shame

In these the world we open/So much to lose to save/To light the highest beacons

And the rose of love will bleed.

    Such sad, such lovely lyrics.

  • @rapist41 You should change your username in racist41.

  • @rapist41 And so? Niggers invented a lot of music, I can't immagine what would be music now without niggers's creativity, and if you can't recognize that you are only a poor ignorant!

  • I know where you're coming from i took an elective that taught me about music:music class, and in this music class i learned that one of the few types of popular music we hear today that has no african influence is ambient music and its often in other types of music which is a lot better with other influences.bottom line is: african americans are destroying america faster than ourselves and i know its our fault since we brought them here we were the lazy ones now they just spread aids like fire

  • @TheTrancemaster90 yeah niggers basically imposed the rhythmic beat from classical to create jazz or basically 1930s music onward. they also ruined music cause its all very low level and repetitive, you just get one nice sequence down and repeat it and change 2 notes cause its dumb nigger shit

  • @gen6k racism much bro?

  • A great pity that the song gets clipped right at the end.... otherwise this would've been the perfect combination of Eno musical genius and wonderful video.

  • This track is just gorgeous. Best one from Another day on earth. The vocoding effect just works so well, along with the octave shift. Love it...

  • This song puts me on another more serene, peaceful planet that exists only in the mind...

  • Its the best song of Brian I think...that voise, those melody, everything is divine...

  • @Rominazano voice*

  • i love brian eno's name

  • Red sky at night... Angel Delight.

  • Not many people have the patience, palette, and understanding required to fully appreciate Brian Eno. How do i know this? By reading the comments section of course. Some of you people just need to open your mind.

  • Well, that was lovely. Thanks for the peace and beauty.

  • Eno with auto-tune! Never thought I'd see the day!!

  • @dbabbler7 That is not autotune, it is a sound treatment. Big difference.

  • @i8sg8s Thank you.

  • Great, influential album

  • where did you get the clouds from?

  • WOW!!!

  • Stunning.

  • Nice work thunderbird!

  • Comment removed

  • U2 best albums were produced by eno and danny lanois

  • wonderful sky-full music !!!!

  • I love clouds and I love Eno...

  • sorry he had to resort to autotune, a cheap trick.

  • @Rufusdos yes but he uses it creativley, it's not like cher or william, or T pain, this is a genius at work, also it's not autotune, it's a vocoder

  • awesome :-)

  • wow that was really annoying

  • I wanna take my grilfriend up to the hill and sit infront of a beautifull view as the sun sets in the horizon, listening to the tune of this song...while I unzip my pants and I take her by the neck pulling her down to give me soft romantic blow job...ouuuuyeaaaah

  • @boxanova66 i hope she bites off your penis.

  • @moodswyng Dear moodwyng: Shut the fuck up...

  • @moodswyng I doubt that'll happen. Judging from the content of his comment, his penis is probably too small to find.

  • @23moksha yeah, suck on that tic-tac, girlfriend of boxanova66

  • emotionally beautiful tune n pics. tyvm

  • This man must have been conceived and born on a mixing desk!

The Ear, panorama and lightness of touch are mesmerising, beautiful.

  • To feel with open eyes....

  • @jacksatease the fuck is this?

  • ... .. .. ........... .. . . .

  • I had to cry one time ,its BEAUTIFULL!!

  • such a woderful, becalming piece of music....

  • I'm trying to figure out how to play this song, and I'm 99% sure it's written in C major, though i find it pretty difficult to find out the chord variations for it, it sounds as if it's only going like "C - F - C - F - C - F"

  • i was afraid a clown was gonna pop up

  • @letshitbitch hahaha good point.

  • @letshitbitch haha

  • @letshitbitch lol

  • @letshitbitch Great idea : )

  • @letshitbitch

When I read that, I WANTED a clown to pop up! :D

They're so cute with their ill-judged, poorly planned make up and horrible clothes!

  • @letshitbitch That's Funny!

  • @letshitbitch LOL that's funny

  • @letshitbitch LOL! Really out loud!

  • Magic

  • Soothing Flashbacks!!

  • gay

  • @Simon0Brien <<Neanderthal.

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to get this but with out vocals?

  • certo te sei fatto na canna

  • The video is fits the music wery well. It's my favourite song by Brian Eno.

  • Wheeee! I'm flying!

  • Brian Eno is not from this planet....facts!

  • @xarabas Well, no. He is. Exemplifying the fact that we ALL have the potential to create works of enduring beauty... : ))

  • @xarabas = So True!!!! Only Gods produce music like this, not us mere mortals...

  • Thank you.

  • TURN THE VOLUME TO THE MAX, HOLD YOUR HEADSET FIRMLY TO YOUR EARS.............AND BE AMAZED.

  • omani padme eno eno you make my life atrue joy as the ray's on mountains fade

  • The cloud callague was fabulous but the song I had to strain to try and make sense out of what was being sung....falsetto vice didn't do anything for me.

  • Don't you think it absolutely wonderful that a confirmed athiest can produce such a heavenly tune? Great. Just great.

  • if this doesn't set the mood nothing will.

  • great song

  • \o/ omg excellent tune!

  • is that eno singing, or someone else, cant tell through the digitalization

  • Comment removed

  • @kosmischesynth Is that you listening? I can't see through all the matter.

  • I bought this album back in 1979, it reamins one of my favorite.

  • @misuiu64 no, you didn't, was released in 2005

  • You know I like the song but is it possible to find a version without lyrics? I like this kind of music without lyrics because it makes you feel more disconnected from the world and relaxed. That's why I like "an ending (ascent)" so much. It's by the same guy.

  • @silverwolf919 : usually i'd agree with you (> Moby, "Inside" f.i.), but when the voice melts into the music to become music itself, like it does here, I just chill...

  • I've been there since Roxy!! ENO ROX!!!! in his own way thats why he is unique!!!!

  • makes me think twice about how much i screwed up

  • MGMT lead me to Brian Eno. And his stuff sounds a lot like The Album Leaf!

  • @King4taday : if I were you, I'd erase that comment, man... hope 4 you you'll later understand why... ;-)

  • @King4taday

'Twas the other way around with me & I still only know their Eno song a little. Posted it coz it's about Eno. I'll give some of their stuff a whirl though.

  • Thumbs up if MGMT led you to discover Brian Eno!

  • Came back to this after an age, beautiful. Recommended

  • i think i recall in some interview that he autotuned his voice more than once or something

  • Nice vocoder here :)

  • Was listening to some dark metal trash before i came here and WOW!!.. isnt this quality music. so much more pure and meaningful.

  • @AddictedToParadise Yes no more "dark metal trash" for you. You have evolved beyond all that.....you are AddictedToParadise

  • This has that certain quality that I so often find only in ambient post-rock lately. I so do wish I found it often elsewhere, but the world disappoints me.

  • @jetaimemina

The world of modern post-rock and ambient music owes everything to Brian Eno and like minded pioneers of the 70's. Do some research and dig deeper and you will find Godspeed! and Mogwai's Daddy.

  • wonderful clouds and colours

  • Perfect movie by this wonderful calming and melodieus song. Thx! One of my favorites...

  • nice music..

  • Puts my spiritual soul to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...Beautiful like white fluffy sheep...

  • Finally got around to listening to Brian Eno and I got to see, hes fucking brilliant.

  • i loved the work he have do in Berlin with David Bowie; Low , Heros and Lodgers. just great.

  • REACT

Pen is position opinion (MARRIAGE RANK)

  • Touch me, touch me again.

  • He played this at Brighton last nite a mate just told me. Anyone got any footage or know of any live Eno vocal videos please. Thanx Thunderbird.

  • Brian sang this last night at the Brighton Dome, as an encore for the performance of Apollo. It was good!

  • @feline1973 I just saw him do it tonight, May 2. He sang it using a vocoder or an autotuner keyboard. He also did Another Day on Earth, Julie With and By This River. Brillaint stuff, I've always wanted to see him live and he is superb.

  • Perfection,

  • this is a bit unsettling; that growl on the consenants...

  • eno is good :-)

  • In peace..."all is clear"

  • Beautiful interpretation!

  • this is so good

  • This is awesome! Thanks for posting!

  • a mi no me parece ridiculo

yo creo que la musica evoluciona, no siempre es lo mismo

esto se llama pitch shiffting y en la actualidad se usa a menudo

  • it's not bad but then that ridiculous vocal comes in--really lame--what was he thinking?

  • god i love this planet, spinning in infinity and endles waves of joy ooooooohm eno eno eno kieeen kieen in la kesh a la kin

  • This song has a sense of "purity" to it; should have been on the Avatar soundtrack. :)

  • agreed brother <3333 xD

  • if you can't chill out to this then see a doctor!

  • too awesome

  • just heard this playing in the background of one of brian's interviews. never knew what it was!

  • absolute beauty!

  • yes, and BRIAN ENO then so clear, whit David Byrne, Fripp, U2, Roxy Music, etc, etc etc, i can´t stop to listen this song .

  • Brian Eno is the real king of ambient music; nothing more, nothing less. Real King;

  • beautiful.. eno rules... nice video

  • This song shows us that Eno is the sound engineer of U2, in this song there are themes of U2's The Wanderer, and Peace on Earth

  • he's god, isn't he?

  • so i hear, yes.

  • I love this song. I'm actually listening to it for the 4th time while writting this. About your videos: this is the second Eno I watch, and since I really enjoyed both, I subsribed your channel; what sort of camera do you use to capture the clouds filling the sky so painfully beautiful? I never thought it would be possible to capture that kind of sky views... Thank you so very much, for it is pure poetry.
