I used to have a Peachface and his name was Hoppy. when he was just a little Baby he was born with a broken leg and he used to hop about and have the cutest little chirp to him and every afternoon I would come home and get him out of his cage and play with him because he was my only friend back then and he used to lay down on his back and fall asleep and I would scratch his belly. and then one afternoon after school I was really eager to see him and mum said I'm so sorry. Adelaide ate Hoppy....

Lovebirds do like going for wires. Anything they can chew. My lovebird tried erasers on my pencil one time but I had to get that away from him. They are very lovable. My lovebird unfortunately passed on April 3rd though :( He was 11.

my peachface was very destructive :D lol. And it had an excellent strategy to attack people. First it would bury itself in the cage in some newspapers and then if someone tried to check on it or something it would jump out and do a flying attack lol. too bad it died :(

seriously? Thats a rip! For me i just looked in the news paper, My dad finally agreed to getting me a bird because i would stand under my tree completely still with a net trying to catch birds. And yea it sounds cruel, i was 8. HAHA

anyway, check the news papers and ebay and craig's list. You might find a good breeder.

Also, Its bad to get the store ones, because they were never taught to 'love'. its best to get the house trained ones at a young age so they adapt to you. hope i helped

Not necessarily true. My Cassie came from a pet shop and is such a sweetie pie ^^. It depends on whether the store's people know how to take care of such a bird and tame it. My friend's bird isn't tame, maybe because of the shop people, combined with her assertive character

Actually it depends on the age of the bird wen u buy it frm the pet shop. The younger the bird, the easier to tame it. I bought mine wen it was around 1 month old.(:

I love these lovebirds I have one too and I think it's a girl. I don't know but the person who gave it to me said it was. But sadly it doesn't make tricks. It always goes with me everywhere though. I might do a video of it soon.

my birds do not talk , they do one trick...when i tell them to spin they spin...but that dosen't make them less smart...it usually depends because each bird haves different characteristics :) :):)Patience is needed
