  • cool i fly out of klwm

  • Nicee good job...,

might be a weird question but wat airspace ar u flying in?

  • @iiKiidCuDii: Class D

  • Looks like you had a bit of a right cross wind

  • I wish I could buy a 180 for 8000 bucks. Thats cheap. 180 in decent conditions with no damage history can go from the low 17000 up into 28 30000 for a decent one!

  • I guess any landing you can walk away from is a good one...

  • I guess any

  • practise a bit more on staying on the centerline there :P

  • Your approach is fast.100 Kts 65kts over the fence is plenty. You need to stay on that center line. Perhaps you are a student learning.

  • Yeah, it looked like you were fighting a wind, but good job straightening her out at the end. Nice video.

  • My flight instructor told me that next time I need a booster seat for this airplane.

  • @Koumrian doesn't the seat adjust vertically?

  • @TheNikkonish No, I dont think they adjust at all, that would be nice tho :)

  • @Koumrian the one i learned in could be adjusted...play with it a bit sometime.

  • @TheNikkonish Cool! Next time I fly I'll check that out, thank you.

  • How...county airport. I guess you could call it was giving free flights around Richmond from the Young Egales and I got to fly a Piper(with a professinol pilot ;) ) It was windy but the wind made it more fun.

  • nice work getting back onto the centreline there, i thought you were off into the bushes for a moment

  • pipers are beautiful airplanes

  • Great job...I own a 1969 Piper PA28-160 and I love this bird...check out my videos at "dallasboricua21c". You will find Cessna 150 and some of my Cherokee...thanks

  • nice landing

  • were the heck do you buy a plane!!!????

  • internet

  • You can buy anything on the internet now-a-days. Check:

    aso(dot)com or controller(dot)com

  • Good job mate!! Keep it up!!

  • P.S.

You're supposed to land in the middle :)

  • i flew a piper cherokee for the first time this morning! with the help of the instructor though to land. But im 15, trying to get my full unrestricted pilots licence :D. its suprisingly easy, dont want to sound arrogant though lol

  • You just said it. You landed with the help of the instructor. Of course it was easy. Wait until you're on your own with 15 knot winds gusting to 20knots back and forth across the runway.

    Not so easy then :)

  • Ok....how many hours do you have?

  • Nice approach and landing there chief.

  • flat flat flat... but everyone sees it different

  • My family is trying to sell our 1965 Piper Cherokee 180. Someone offered us $8000. what do you think?

  • i though they sell for $50K+

  • @prashd77 hell no. Not a model that old. $20,000 is the MAX you could expect for that model and year.

  • What condition is it in?

  • but 8000 is reasonable, but i would say around 10 to 12 thousand would be good. But for some reaon a 1972 sells for about $30,000, but 10 to 12 thousand dollars would be reasonable fo that, depending on its condition

  • @schreck425 A four seater piper from 65 should cost 20,000 to 30,000 USD easily if its well maintained.

  • @MaroonBugUK I did everything I could to get my family to reconsider. They ended up selling it to the guy for 12,500. The guy claimed that it needed 20,000 worth of work but I didn't really believe him. I think he got away with a steal but there's nothing I could really do about it.

  • @schreck425 I'll give ya 10 for it ;)

  • @schreck425 in florida 1975 cheroke is sold for 15.000

  • @schreck425 I think they're high.

  • @schreck425 my uncle has a 1965 cherokee and i think he got it for almost 30000

  • nice view of a cherokee landing. very good square pattern, like how you level the wings on downwind to bas and base to final turn. slight drift from the left. hold in that correction all the way to touchdown, possibly even more correction when you get slow and flair as any wind will tend to push you more when you have less airspeed. good flair and touchdown nice two squeeks. fun video. Simon KISW

  • bueno el aterrizaje, pero al final se le salió mucho del eje central de la pista, no se si fué un vientico cruzado a última hora, pero por lo menos aterrizó

  • drivvvve careful

  • Except for the little weaving back and forth on the centerline on short final, very nice touchdown.

  • Hey good touchdown! I remember when i learned to land, and when i soloed for the first time! YIKES i almost crapped my pants! It went good though, it was in a Socata Tampico.

  • what airport is this

  • KLAL

  • 41K was in the open blue, and as I watched my altimeter with watchful eyes, I wondered when I would reach out my hand and touch the face of God? Then in a instance it dawned on me, he had been there all along, for I had soloed all alone...

    P.S.

Back in my day we didn't have the David Clark headsets...We had Original Equipment, and a good set of lungs to let everyone know what's up!?

  • I've heard that before.... I'm not sure from where though.......

  • verry good landing

i could hardly tell when u touched down

  • That's a long final. I'm not used to that.

  • awsome!

  • Very nice !!! Soloed 2 weeks ago as well in my Cherokee 140. My CFI lets me practice while he is on nthe Airport grounds. Check out my video...

  • Nice! Thanks for sharing.

  • Good job! I take lessons in a cherokee too...just soloed 10-26-2007

  • Nice touchdown!

  • prashd77 good job.. what school did you go to?

  • great. good job

  • thanks :-)
