Anyone who would deny these truths or try to argue with counter points is fooling themselves or attempting to fool others, flexing their intellectual muscles, trying to prove to themselves that they are smarter. These truths will remain whether you are naive, stupid, intelligent, have different opinions, it does not matter! You cannot argue away reality, no matter how unpleasant. If you are not stating blunt and obvious(to some) truth like in this video, you are lying to yourself.
This is all very nice, but how exactly do you get us from here to there? The state isn't just going to relinquish control because you asked nicely. They are an entity of force and coercion and that's all they understand. How do you get an entity like that to walk away and leave you alone while adhering to the non-aggression principle?
Don't get me wrong. I like what you're saying and I'd like to live like that, but I just don't see how we get there.
@HumbleWillis Good questions with no easy answers. Remember, the non aggression principle is an admonition against the INITIATION of force. Do not conflate it with turning the other cheek as it is not a prohibition against self defense. Don't forget the extent to which even the most despotic regimes are reliant upon the consent of the governed. The less compliant and the more awakened we are, the more arduous their task of oppression becomes.
Pleas dont read this! I am a dead girl. I Died from fighting the NWO. I thought that I was m*a*t*u*r*E & Could stop tehm on my own. So I put on lip stick and my Sunday best and went out to the government, Well gguess wat. I Didnt. (died.) So now You must free my Spirit. If you do not forward this Email to your 10 oldest relatives and Warn them about Young People tthen Kane will Enter the Arena. (Kane is undertakers Big Bro.ther)
who's gonna force the non violence system? violence is the best way to control people. control is not a bad word, some people needs to be controled so other people won't be treathen
@MrRolaCosta Then you lock up those who threatened and used force of violence on others.. Lock the violent offenders, they may or may not get it that using violence to get your way is bad. Maybe wise up and get it that using violence to get your way or control people is wrong.
@MrRolaCosta: You're not differentiating between the initiation of force and the use of force in self defense. The only legitimate function of government is to protect those from the initiation of force by using the force of self defense. Very different.
I manage a motel, and I've had to call the sheriff on several occasions to deal with unruly guests. We also depend on law enforcement to foreclose on the homes of the people who can't or won't pay their mortgages, and to make sure that men pay their child support. I guess in anarchy people could create disturbances in private businesses, steal real estate by squatting in it and not pay for the bastard kids they've fathered with impunity.
@MrAdvancedAtheist No, in an anarchist society there will be PRIVATE security that you can contract with that will take care of your problem. It will be accepted that they have the power to remove unruly guests. You will pay a monthly fee for the service.
the elimination of governments is no where near as practical as explaining human dignity or human rights. before you fire a public servant you might want to help him or her find a job with the talents they have.
What happens if the "TRUTHER'S" conjecture that 9/11 was in fact 9/11Reichstag? Wouldn't that invalidate the state? If this FUCKING DISEASED POLITICAL REGIME, in collusion with the state of Israel, staged that event then what? It did, it was a FALSE FLAG operation.
I would like to watch more. These are quite frankly amazing videos. I recommended several to friends who are teachers. The way the videos lay out a very blunt physical history of basic human behavior is very concise-
If you don't row in the same direction as the others than the others need to throw you out of the boat. It's all about flocking. We flock here and flock there .We flock in large groups we flock in small groups but we flock just the same. In the end we are all flocked no matter what happens.
of course we live in anarchy. Nobody can stop you from crossing a moral boundary but yourself. - Just as the only person stopping you from stealing and killing is you. But to say we don't need police. Is nieve. Without some order and standards we have no civilization. it would resort to rule of might- Which. look at most of Africa. Not a pretty scene.-
@crazyrobotkiller you obviously can't be that aware of Stefans work. every point you make he has answered previously in a number of pieces (videos, books etc) a number of times. take a few days to listen and watch and hopefully you'll be able to answer some/most of your questions. i had similar objections to anarchy as an idea a while ago but now Stef is one of the people who inspires me the most.
Most government jobs entail coersion. Police have pressure from an imaginary blue line. But it's self imposed. - Not government imposed. Most problems we have now are cultural. The government didn't take the money Enron did. The Government didn't lobby for war. Haliburton did. The Troops want to be here and not over sea. Anarchy does not in fact solve corruption.-
or drag people into the street when they are unpopular? The police protect our right to be different.- They really do. If it was full on anarchy we would have gangs run things. Most of the problems we face today IMO are from mafia infiltrating the lobbying system and the police and religions of our country.
What I want to know is your opinion on sales tax vs property tax. Also. are you an advocate of vigilante justice? We do away with law enforcement and what? go onto the honor system?
that said this is a very impressive series of videos and there is alot of truth in them. But. We do need taxes. Sales Tax for example. Would be an example of a nonviolent tax.- Income Tax.. also non violent.- Property tax? violent.
@crazyrobotkiller Any tax that a person does not agree to is violence. Because if they refuse to pay it, the state has to use violence and threats of violence to get its money from the person, whether they like it or not. We do not need taxes. It does not matter if the mafia donates all your protection money to charity; it still has to steal it from you first.
it's all well and good- But.. who will deal with theives. How do you build roads. Without taxes? Without government? this is suggestive anarchy. it's flawed. Sorry.
@crazyrobotkiller Anarchy is the only reality. Government is the illusion. If government built all the houses, you would be asking, "Who will build the houses?" If the government grew all the food, you would be asking, "Who would grow the food?" We all enjoy anarchy on a daily basis, in many things. People are not stupid. People do not like crime. There will be ways of building things and punishing criminals, that do not require the forceful extraction of money from us.
There is a solution here. The non-aggression principle, when truly focused on and adhered to FROM BIRTH, creates the new system. Being brainwashed into a system of seeming dependence on government makes that hard to understand. People and their needs are nowhere near as complex as the illusion we've built around them.
To understand what's wrong with the system in a particular government, I think, their citizens should at first figure out who sponsors their senators' election campaigns, whose interests this particular government eventually protects. I think, some interests are able to cause much unnecessary violence against people if they are silently allowed to.
@NoFaithNoPain He did offer a solution: to place the principle of non-aggression at the center of everything we do. Of course the details of a stateless society will have to be worked out, and he isn't saying the state must disappear tomorrow either. But that we need to recognize the immorality of the state before we can move to a brighter future.
@de97531 If you mean what sort of description would I expect to take this seriously? Then I would expect a system to be outlined. Some sort of structure, some sort of set of principles or anything that allowed me to construct a reasonable model of what he is talking about. Until I get that, then what we have here is vagueness and hot air. Jesus for instance placed the principle of non agression at the centre of everything, so did Buddha. However I suspect he is neither buddist or xtian.
threat as the world votes for action. This is the best use of the good inherent in all, people, and religions for the one cause of non violent conflict resolutions.
Then when a physically violent uprising occurs between two people or more, the World instantly gets to see what it is via tech and they vote, and action is taken out by authorized physical means.
Instant vote. Instant action. From the people of the world. We will still have the odd citizen want to use physical means to get what they want and we will always need Moral citizens who can physically handle that physical ...
The World court gets it powers from all World peoples vote via secure electronic devices over the Internet (Minority Report Movie style; the eye recondition and let's say temp sensor, heart beat sensor and finger print- all at the same time with last voice recondition. The only violence that can be authorized against the people is voted on by the people.
@roymaitland ???You just reply with these words that in no way argue against what I said. Voting is a concept. What exactly the fuck does voting mean? Voting in democracy by definition means to point guns at people.
Where exactly does this authority come from? How can a group of people get together and claim authority over everyones property, and the right to use force against them?
They can't is the simple answer. Government has no legitimate authority.
@kamikazee55 That makes the case for abolishing capital punishment, as the governments in nearly 100 countries have done, not for abolishing government. How can, say, the democracy in Molyneux's Canada work if it can't threaten to murder him for noncompliance? This libertarian sort of argument would make more sense in countries which still use the death penalty, like the U.S., Saudi Arabia & China.
@MrAdvancedAtheist All countries have the death penalty. If you try to run from the police, or defend yourself, they will kill you. What exactly do you think happens when people dont follow the law?
I am all for non-violent ways to communicate as the ONLY World approved method of dealing with any situation. If all parties would obey by that law of non-violence resolution, then great we talk things out until resolution(s) and no parties get to own, use, or leverage the property in any way.It becomes impounded by the world Court until there is resolution of the parties.
This presumes people are mentally sound and without illness for them to act peacefully not provoking the fight for flight mode in others; because the freeze scenario is not an option. The mentally ill human will need to be taken care off by some kind of restraining system or they will harm you!
@roymaitland I suggest you read "Practical Anarchy" (freedomainradio -> free books) if you're interested in how things could work in a stateless society. Stating that violence is bad, therefore governments should be dissolved is like saying that owning other people through violence is immoral, therefore we should end slavery. Your comment here is like arguing against slaves with questioning "Well, if we end slavery, who will pick the cotton?"
This presumes people are mentally sound and with out illness to act peacefully not provoking the fight for flight model; because the freeze sinereo is not an option. The mentally ill human will need to be taken care off by some kind of restraining system!?
The falsehood of the state is ethical, not categorical like those of incorrect physical theories.
The state owns all the property in its land( which Stef also admits in "The Story of Your Enslavement"), hence it is not violating the NAP by using it as it sees fit.
Some valid points, but small government is still needed for enforcing law and securities. Without government , who is going to resist foreign invasion, build road, enforce building code, protect citizens from bad elements/disasters.
The right answer should be small constitutional limited government and low taxation. no war without declaration. no aggressive/preemptive war.
Minor note on the opening segment, epicycles were still needed (though fewer of them) in a sun-centered system. It was the use of elliptical orbits which finally eliminated the need for them.
To make this work people have to be willing to suffer from things outside their control. Once they realize though that they suffer more from things inside their control, giving up control becomes easier. Still quite a leap. I'm a Christian first though and as a Christian I have to be willing to suffer for my faith. But to suffer for something I think is better than to suffer in spite of something, woudn't you agree? Very well done. Thank you so much.
I do not agree with the arbitrary notion of 'property' espoused by Stefan Molyneux and the Libertarian worldview, but there is much here that makes sense. Thank you, Stefan, for putting it out there so clearly :-)
What happens when you die? Have you told lies, stolen, used God's name in vain(10 Commandments)? If yes, then you're a liar, thief, and a blasphemer in the sight of God. When you die & be judged by God, you'll be guilty of sin, & go to Hell! But God sent His Son Jesus to shed His blood & die on a cross for your sins, He was buried & rose again from the dead on the third day. If you'll believe the Gospel(Jesus died for your sins, was buried & resurrected)you'll not perish & have eternal life
I still don't get how taxation is evil. For example, to create an environment that all can have an opportunity to flourish equally... e.g. highways, etc.
Yes, I see how murder if you don't pay your taxes is evil.
And what does even true freedom look like? If no one paid taxes, then what? What would a normal day look like?
@moonjp people doing fair bussiness with people laws would be maid by the people not by the elite( government) havent you always thought being forced to pay taxes is not right? do you like being forced to pay something at gun point? the government takes from some people and gives to others. equal opportunity means thier is no monopoy. government means monopoly will happen monopoly = unemployment. yes peace and malls can have security gaurds an army can be smaller(1000).
@moonjp The fallacy is thinking that only governments can build roads. Why is it that highway projects always take so long and often go over their allotted costs? Governments are always less efficient than private enterprise. Nature abhors a vacuum, and so do societies. If roads are needed, they will be built. The same goes for any other public necessity.
When you reject all social contracts, you end up outside of whatever social contract is created. With all of your bargaining power gone, you'll just be forced to sign onto the contract of the strongest bloc, which most likely *will* have violence as a central tenant.
Rather than rejecting all social contracts, you'd be better served by helping to forge one that rejects violence an encourages freedom and cooperation.
@KeithWygant Hello Keith , just in case you did'nt know it , the U.S. americans have the greatest number of firearms on earth . More than all governments of the world combined . Tyrants may come and go but we americans will never relinquish our last stand defense against tyranny . Always remember that one must bring ass to get ass and there's more of us than there are gov't enforcers . Against the sleeping giant of the american public , attrition is not in the cards for the enforcers . adios
This is better than most documentarys on politics & economy(zeitgeist& Michael Moore included) so I'm asking why don't you make a full feature documentary dvd release & then expand from there?!Youtube is not enough!
"How's that working out for us?" Much better than anarchy. Gov't will always have problems, but we are willing to form such gov'ts to protect ourselves from ourselves. I can scarcely imagine the unbridled evils of a stateless society. I will take my IRS and gov't with all its (fixable) problems over a stateless society. Men are crooked. We need to police and a pact of laws that we all submit to to protect ourselves from the evil we are capable of.
@CaptainCrunchOwns ooh ... vapid and infantile . you're so much smarter than all the rest of us . When your gov't and i.r.s. come to stick dick in in your poop hole let's see what vapid and infantile means to you then . Piss off asshole
Total collapse of this violently coercive governmental systemwill be greatly enjoyed by me . All the licencing and all the regulations will fall by the wayside . A lot of the uninformed will suffer for want of knowledge but in the end each persons kharmawill float or sink them . watch for the roads to fall into disrepair and you'll know the collapse is near . God go with you all .
Most of you here are suffering from the rationale of nothingness. You try to envision a utopia on earth because you don't believe in anything beyond earth. But this will never be as many of you have admitted because of human nature. However, human nature is what it is because there is 'good' and 'evil'. This is because Man is fallen. If you don't believe in God you can never understand evil and will be destroyed by it eventually. It is frustrating to believe in nothing and try to rationalize it.
Stefan Molyneux is a dangerous idiot. Do not be fooled!!! Sure there are things wrong with the state but there are also benefits. The right position is a balance somewhere in the middle between government and personal freedom. Be very wary of people offering simple sounding answers!!!
@jeffiek Yes, you're right - "no hitting" is a very, very simple rule. Can you show a flaw in it?
Yes I can as it happens. What about self defence?! If you say self defence is OK what counts as an attack which justifies defence? Is it ok to strike pre-emptively? (ie hit someone who is about to hit you) If pre-emptive strikes are ok, how likely does it have to be that someone is about to attack you? We will never get this perfectly right.
That's a *response* to someone violating the "no hitting" rule. You have not shown a flaw in the rule. I agree, the proper *response* to violations of the rule is a matter of debate. The rule itself is valid.
I note you did not respond to my critique of *your* simple rule - "government good". Governments, by the way, are the most flagrant violators of "no hitting". How DO you defend yourself against them? What is it that you are really afraid of?
@jeffiek: I do not think that there is a simple rule 'government good'- I recognise the problems inherent in having governments. But I recognise that they (or at least some of them) are a necessary evil. So I have a simple rule 'no government at all is bad' I suppose. There are some simple rules. I guess you're right that if everyone obeys the 'no hitting' rule, and also everyone has a belief that everyone around them will stick to it, everything will be wonderful. But this will not happen!
You began with "Stefan Molyneux is a dangerous idiot. Do not be fooled!!! " So what is it that you're afraid of?
"necessary evil" ?!?!? That's the heart of the problem. Evil is not necessary.
No, everything would not be wonderful if people obeyed the "no hitting" rule. We would still have disagreements, still irritate each other, still get sick and die. We would just have the progressed from solving our problems with force to solving them rationally.
Oh Heaven's one of THOSE heliocentricists! How foolish to deny what your own eyes see every day, that the sun rises and sets just as the Bible has stated 67 times as well as stating that the sun stood still and even went backwards. Some trick for the earth to circle a sun which God had not yet created until 4 days later. But then, of course, that is the goal of heliocentricists, to try to discredit the Bible. How's that working for you? LOL
The Founding Fathers collectively were probably the greatest gathering of human intelligence that will ever inhabit this earth. Every problem we have today can be traced to us breaking the Constitutional barriers or ignoring their admonishment to be virtuous and educated. The problem with pacifists solutions is that they never really provide the one real needed solution; what to do with evil? You must destroy it or be destroyed by it. Show me one tyrant brought down by kindness.
@jeffiek Exposing evil doesn't stop it. Hitler and Stalin killed millions after they were exposed and would have killed millions more. We cannot destroy evil, only God can. We can, however, destroy men who perpetuate evil. Killing in the defense of innocents is righteous. History proves it over and over again. To deny that is simply naive.
@calfcreek5 On the contrary. Exposing evil *does* stop it. Do you think those nazi troops knew they were doing evil? Do you think that if they KNEW they were doing evil that they would continue to kill people? I don't think so.
By the same token, our own troops in the US believe they are doing good. But they're not. If they knew they were doing evil, they would not be in the military. Or they would desert.
P.S. If you want to have a rational argument, leave God out of it.
@MrGarky So the troops stuffing Jews in the oven didn't know what they were doing? The mobs rounding up Jews and destroying their houses and stores didn't know what they were doing? Please. You can't be that naive.
There were a few US troops that did evil. They were caught, tried and convicted. Does Usama's army do that? Husseins? Your comparison is sophmoric. As to God, the belief in God is more rational than the belief in nothing.
@calfcreek5 Those who worked at concentration camps were not your average nazi troops. From what I understand, those men were hand picked from the worst of the worst of society. And yes, as messed up as the idea is in actuality, I'm quite sure that they believed that they were doing the work of good. They believed that Jews were evil or whatever such nonsense, and that the perfect aryan race is mankind's only chance for world peace, and all of that silliness.
@MrGarky Hitler was not one to beat around the bush. He stated exactly what he felt about Jews. The nation that went along with that thinking were evil. By the way, many Germans did not go along with it, helped Jews, helped England and the U.S. defeat Hitler. Some were killed for their actions against the Nazis. Liberal Facists will always point to others for failure. It's hardwired. Nothing is their fault. The collective can never be blamed. Much as the current ones fault 'rich' people.
@calfcreek5 The thing is, most (if not all) people want to be "good." The real question is, "What is GOOD?"
I read a book on crime once where the author, a former corrections officer, says that all the criminals he spoke to had their own justifications for their crimes. For example, the thief would say, "I may have stolen, but I'm not a criminal because I never hurt anyone." And the murderer would say, "I may have killed, but I'm not a criminal because I never stole anything."
@calfcreek5 This goes against the message of the entire film. You aint gonna solve nothing through violence. Its not so much the action, but the thought process behind it, the idea that violence is ok.....in certain circumstances. That preconception is what needs to change in order to make humanity sustainable.
@dionathns Again, that's fine if both sides agree to not be violent. Unfortunately the world we live in doesn't and never will work that way. No one yet has answered my earlier question. Name one tyrant in all of history brought down by kindness. You can't because it has never happened.
@calfcreek5 Peace will be a "forced" peace after centuries of agitation. The people will prefer peace in a state of serfdom than the rights of freedom which have tortured, exhausted and exploited humanity.
The people will be weary from suffering under their governments that we control. They will prefer to suffer anything under us than risk more of the torment and misery they have suffered under their governments. - Protocol 14
@calfcreek5 Thats the attitude that that need to change. ahahahhaha, it doesnt, it cant, it never will. Well obviously if everyone says that, now humor me for a moment. What if thats not the case, its as easy as you changing those preconceptions. sorry for the horrid spelling.
@dionathns Sure I could humor you but to what end? So you feel better? The point is that it would only work if the entirety of humanity did so at once. If just one tyrant refuses, then many good people will die for our naivete. Good must crush evil and send the message around the world that evil will not be tolerated, That is the best we can hope for in this life.
Ok you want simplicity, well your not going to like it. Evolution answers everything, with the exception of the single moment of the begging of existence, which it has no explanation for. Religion has no rational explanation for the world presently described, with the exception of meaning of existence, and its begging. So the way to resolve this is to state that God must be nothing, literally. If the vacuum gave birth to the universe, and the vacuum is omnipotent, then all debate is resolved.
Before your blasting of this statement, with preconceived notions, stop and think. The reason religious institutes cause atrocity, is not because of their deity, but because their visions are just lies, and wistful thinking. Nothing is purely logical, every object within space operates under identical finite laws, it is in fact completely and totally just in every judgement it makes. Nothing is absolute logic, an indivisible factor and eternal. It is the first and will be the last. Alpha & Omega
I would love to live in a utopia, I really would. One thing really bothers me though. If we settle down and become peaceful, we may forget the ways of war and be fully unprepared for an extraterrestrial threat.
If life is out there and is hostile to us, then the violent system we live in may actually be our salvation from extinction.
@Flugabwehrkanone Unless they've evolved to the point where the ETs are anarchists as well :) Which is probably why they never bothered visiting us and left us alone. They said to themselves "Oooh...these guys are too violent. Better they not know we exist!"
But what if they haven't evolved to that point? It is criminally irresponsible to assume that all life in the universe is friendly. The survival of the species is at stake!
@Flugabwehrkanone Well, it will depend on HOW the encounter happens. If it's them coming to us, then obviously they're the superior beings and if they're hostile - my advice is to run and hide ;) However, if it's us going to them, I figure it's a better than a coin-flip in our favor.
@whitechocolatespace Why does everyone assume that just because they could get here, that we couldn't defend ourselves? A) Technology does not advance evenly. If they devoted their resources to space travel, it doesn't necessarily follow that they developed their weapons to a similar degree; B) They could have developed sleeper ships or used a natural phenomenon such as a wormhole to get here, meaning that they didn't really develop FTL;
@whitechocolatespace C) The Native Americans with Stone Age technology resisted Europeans with Enlightenment and Industrial Age technology for 1.5 centuries.
Aggression requires energy. People tend to use aggression when it requires less energy than solving the root problem. The higher the cost of the solution the more likely they will use aggression.
Thats such a bullshit. I doubt society would a bit better without lawforces. Then who would prevent, that someone uses violence against the weak? The state...at least in Europe grantees that also the not fortuned don`t have to beg for mercy and treatment. Just silly...The state is or at least should be the citizen in larger scale. What would you do against huge company's that have a monopole or can establish it easy(as 1 example).A to easy answer for a far more complex society then the solarsystem.
@MiauZi69 Who prevents the state from using violence against the weak? The government is just a corporation with a monopoly on force. You don't stop violence with violence, and you don't kill demons with hate, but with love. Perhaps instead we should have a super-government to govern the government. And another government to govern that one. Perhaps that's why we invented God, to imagine that we ultimately win in the game of violence.
Now, Im not saying that to be racist, but merely as a case study of what happens when this sort of thing is put into practice. If we are not willing to defend our society and enforce certain agreed upon rules, then we have no future. We will be conquered by those who have no moral obligation for peace, and be subdued. Thats just how it works, and how it will always work. No pie in the sky thinking will change that.
@mysock351W Why is politics/government messed up? It's because these individuals are guided completely by their ego/lower self, which denies their unconsciousness (here your higher self resides, but you need to pass your shadow self first.) Healthy politicians look inwards first, then outwards. Take Hitler f.e., ultimate example of out of control ego. Why are corporates messed up? Same reason. A society where people have contact with their higher self is heaven. Simple as that.
@mysock351W Why is religion messed up? Again, same reason. The Abrahamic religions tell people to never listen to their unconscious voice (which they identify with Satan), which means they suppress their shadow self. Over time this leads to extreme examples of indoctrination of children using fear tactics (out of control ego), pedophilism (shadow self coming out. Uncontrollable and primitive because they've never developoed it), very distubring acts of violence (primitive shadow self again), ...
@mysock351W When you really look into this idea of consciousness, you might begin to think there really is a grand conspiracy (think Illuminati, New World Order, Zionism, ...) at work to keep humanity in the dark of their minds. And there is, it goes back for thousands of years (but it's not the Illuminati (who are not bad). I call them the Family bloodlines.). They do this because they are negative-path beings who need our energy to survive and evolve to a higher dimension of consciousness.
@nielss4 Do this thought experiment: Imagine that you DO have this utopian society with its ideals and no punishment in the usual sense. What do you do with those who are sociopaths? Insane? Voilent? What system would you have in place to deal with such individuals, and the actions that they will take? The only option besides the usual law enforcment is orwellian coercion, or control at the level of thought. Both would be very unpleasant elements of such a society.
@mysock351W These people should ofcourse be punished, but what you fail to understand is the cause of these sociopaths, which is almost always rationalization of their actions. They believe they did the right thing, even though their actions say otherwise. This is a normal result of a lifetime of identification with the ego. An unhealthy society encourages people to identificate with their ego, breeding sociopaths.A healthy society discourages this, breeding healthy balanced free-thinking people.
@mysock351W You might ask that if everything is consciousness, than why can't animals think for themselves. Simple, "the story of humans is the story of ideas" as has been said by famous astronomer Jill Tarter. Humans have managed to create thoughts for themselves, and this lead to self-consciousness and the "ego". This is a great survival trait and the next step of evolution. However, living your whole life in your own created thoughts shuts you off from the universal consciousness.
@mysock351W The next logical evolutionary step is not further identification with your thoughts or ego (as this creates division/wars/...), but reconnecting to your roots, the universal (un)consciousness which is more or less the same for all of us. This is where you can find God/infinity (which is not separate from you), which I find so hilarious that all famous scientists have been unable to grasp. They seek further and further into their own ego for God, ofcourse they can never find him :).
@mysock351W Positive-path beings do not need to do this. They willingly give energy to others and respect others' free will. This path is chosen much more often and is much easier. I got this information from David Wilcock/the Law of One/Project Camelot, should you ever be interested in digging yourself. I will shut the fuck up now.
@mysock351W "If we are not willing to defend our society and enforce certain agreed upon rules, then we have no future." I agree, but an unhealthy society identificates lawful and unlawful with right/good and wrong/bad. This is very much the case as it stands right now. Again, this creates ego identification with laws, breeding sociopaths. An healthy society has laws, but they should never be identificated with right/good and wrong/bad. Counter-laws could stop this.
In europe, principals like this where put into practice by the socialist government. It did two things. The first was create a huge, top-heavy welfare state. The second was it set up essentially unlimited immigration, which in turn allowed swarms of muslims into europe, who essentially are threatening to completely destablize the entire continent. Systems like this just dont work out here in reality.
Theres one glaring flaw with this: it ignores human nature. Societies built on utopian principals always decend into totalitarianism. Humans are, by their very nature, self-serving. There will always be those who will migrate to the top, and subjugate the rest. Thats the whole point of government. It sets up a system that sets up a framework of laws, such as ensuring individual rights, dictating economic transactions, etc. and punishes those who break the laws.
@mysock351W No government has ever truly cared about individual rights. To argue that is purely ineffective to the very point here. Only understanding will set us free. Stefbot's message here is meant to grow, and it will. That's the idea of this video, to not only teach the idea of anarcho-pacifism, but to help teach it to others. If you kill a killer, you become a killer. And then someone will want to kill you for it. This destructive cycle must be stopped.
@rockoutmichigan The problem with this message is that its in a vacuum. No part of it is compatible with actual reality. There are many in the world who want america dead and gone. Not because of the evil right wing government, but simply because we have freedom. You cant have dialogue and peace with those who want war regardless of what you say. It just wont work. Just look at Iran. They think its their religious duty to destroy the west. Think any of this hippie nonsense will fix that?
@mysock351W Humans are self-serving because we forgot who we really are (infinite consciousness). We will only stop being self-serving if we live in a society which encourages becoming aware of our unconsciousness (remembering actually), and the first step of this is accepting/understanding our shadow self, instead of denying/ignoring it so it comes out all at once like an animal. This step will automatically result in a massive decrease of our ego and thus the harmony will increase.
@nielss4 Humans are self-serving because of our evolutionary past. I would contend that our consciousness is far from infinite. Its relatively small, and limited by our own horizons, so we can never know everything there is to now, or experience. We have to always bear in mind that humans are animals, too, and will always exhibit these elements of behaviour. To ignore them, or assume that they can be molded like clay is very dangerous. Humans are not perfectable, and never will be.
@mysock351W "We have to always bear in mind that humans are animals, too, and will always exhibit these elements of behaviour." I agree, and I never said otherwise. A healthy society ofcourse doesn't taboo sex, but isn't about porn either :p. A healthy society accepts our roots as you say, so putting sex back to its divine roots is the most logical step. No sex breeds sociopaths. Porn breeds addicts.
@mysock351W I always find it ridiculous how people talk about human nature, when it is clear they know nothing about their nature. What do you think evolution is about really? Unconsciousness becoming conscious of itself. That's it! Rocks are non-conscious, plants pre-conscious, animals conscious, humans self-conscious and the divine hyper-conscious. Modern society however wants us to becoming less conscious. This is the prime reason of all evil and greed. A conscious society needs no laws.
@nielss4 Now, that doesnt mean that we will always be in a state of depravity. It just means that utopian idealistic movements such as this will be forever doomed to failure. The reason is that there will always be those who will not subscribe to it no matter how hard you try, and will serve their own wants regardless. This is why government with laws, police, and military are necessary. Some people will not submit to a system of mutual benifit and compromises, but will instead exploit.
@nielss4 Evolution is actually the process of organisms going through genetic drift and adaptating to their environment. That does not guarantee that you will get sentient beings. Lions will likely never evolve to be as smart as humans as a large brain is extranious to what is needed for them to survive in their environment. The form a basic social structure that survives by hunting prey. Theyre very well adapted to it, and dont need any extra brain power to do it.
@nielss4 Now the human body was very poorly adapted to surviving out in the wild. We have no fur, claws, or sharp teeth to defend ourselves, and cannot run fast to evade predators. Its this reason that the human mind developed. The only replacement for those defenses that where lost was intelligence that allowed us to manipulate our environment in ways that other animals couldnt. This is likely the main reason why our consciousness came to be. Its a byproduct of adaptation.
@mysock351W "This is likely the main reason why our consciousness came to be. Its a byproduct of adaptation." You really believe this don't you, and I can't blame you as we all have been indoctrinated with this Darwinian crap. I've investigated this for a long time, and I can only come to the conclusion that Creation is wrong, but so is Darwinian evolution. The truth is that everything is consciousness (this does not equal free-thinking) armageddonconspiracy.co.uk/Soul-Contact%281663914%29.htm

HumbleWillis 2 weeks ago
@HumbleWillis Good questions with no easy answers. Remember, the non aggression principle is an admonition against the INITIATION of force. Do not conflate it with turning the other cheek as it is not a prohibition against self defense. Don't forget the extent to which even the most despotic regimes are reliant upon the consent of the governed. The less compliant and the more awakened we are, the more arduous their task of oppression becomes.

MrAdvancedAtheist 1 month ago
@MrAdvancedAtheist No, in an anarchist society there will be PRIVATE security that you can contract with that will take care of your problem. It will be accepted that they have the power to remove unruly guests. You will pay a monthly fee for the service.

noado51 2 months ago
of course we live in anarchy. Nobody can stop you from crossing a moral boundary but yourself. - Just as the only person stopping you from stealing and killing is you. But to say we don't need police. Is nieve. Without some order and standards we have no civilization. it would resort to rule of might- Which. look at most of Africa. Not a pretty scene.-
crazyrobotkiller 2 months ago
@crazyrobotkiller you obviously can't be that aware of Stefans work. every point you make he has answered previously in a number of pieces (videos, books etc) a number of times. take a few days to listen and watch and hopefully you'll be able to answer some/most of your questions. i had similar objections to anarchy as an idea a while ago but now Stef is one of the people who inspires me the most.
Everythingreallyisok 2 months ago
Most government jobs entail coersion. Police have pressure from an imaginary blue line. But it's self imposed. - Not government imposed. Most problems we have now are cultural. The government didn't take the money Enron did. The Government didn't lobby for war. Haliburton did. The Troops want to be here and not over sea. Anarchy does not in fact solve corruption.-
crazyrobotkiller 2 months ago
or drag people into the street when they are unpopular? The police protect our right to be different.- They really do. If it was full on anarchy we would have gangs run things. Most of the problems we face today IMO are from mafia infiltrating the lobbying system and the police and religions of our country.

crazyrobotkiller 2 months ago
that said this is a very impressive series of videos and there is alot of truth in them. But. We do need taxes. Sales Tax for example. Would be an example of a nonviolent tax.- Income Tax.. also non violent.- Property tax? violent.
crazyrobotkiller 2 months ago
@crazyrobotkiller Any tax that a person does not agree to is violence. Because if they refuse to pay it, the state has to use violence and threats of violence to get its money from the person, whether they like it or not. We do not need taxes. It does not matter if the mafia donates all your protection money to charity; it still has to steal it from you first.
jeffsandychelsea 2 months ago
it's all well and good- But.. who will deal with theives. How do you build roads. Without taxes? Without government? this is suggestive anarchy. it's flawed. Sorry.
crazyrobotkiller 2 months ago
@crazyrobotkiller Anarchy is the only reality. Government is the illusion. If government built all the houses, you would be asking, "Who will build the houses?" If the government grew all the food, you would be asking, "Who would grow the food?" We all enjoy anarchy on a daily basis, in many things. People are not stupid. People do not like crime. There will be ways of building things and punishing criminals, that do not require the forceful extraction of money from us.
jeffsandychelsea 2 months ago
There is a solution here. The non-aggression principle, when truly focused on and adhered to FROM BIRTH, creates the new system. Being brainwashed into a system of seeming dependence on government makes that hard to understand. People and their needs are nowhere near as complex as the illusion we've built around them.

Where exactly does this authority come from? How can a group of people get together and claim authority over everyones property, and the right to use force against them?
They can't is the simple answer. Government has no legitimate authority.
kamikazee55 2 months ago 9
@kamikazee55 That makes the case for abolishing capital punishment, as the governments in nearly 100 countries have done, not for abolishing government. How can, say, the democracy in Molyneux's Canada work if it can't threaten to murder him for noncompliance? This libertarian sort of argument would make more sense in countries which still use the death penalty, like the U.S., Saudi Arabia & China.

Once they realize though that they suffer more from things inside their control, giving up control becomes easier. Still quite a leap.

@moonjp The fallacy is thinking that only governments can build roads. Why is it that highway projects always take so long and often go over their allotted costs? When you reject all social contracts, you end up outside of whatever social contract is created. With all of your bargaining power gone, you'll just be forced to sign onto the contract of the strongest bloc, which most likely *will* have violence as a central tenant.
Rather than rejecting all social contracts, you'd be better served by helping to forge one that rejects violence an encourages freedom and cooperation.

Be very wary of people offering simple sounding answers!!!
edpennington8 8 months ago
@edpennington8 Yes, you're right - "no hitting" is a very, very simple rule. Can you show a flaw in it?
Or should I follow your simple rule of - "government good"?
Do you realize that much of the "benefits" come from borrowing from our children ( just one example )?
Do you realize that blowing up other countries is *not* a benefit?
The list is far too long. Mankind has had centuries to find that "right balance", but can't - it doesn't exist.
What is it that you are really afraid of?
jeffiek 8 months ago
@jeffiek Yes, you're right - "no hitting" is a very, very simple rule. Can you show a flaw in it?
Yes I can as it happens. What about self defence?! If you say self defence is OK what counts as an attack which justifies defence? Is it ok to strike pre-emptively? (ie hit someone who is about to hit you) If pre-emptive strikes are ok, how likely does it have to be that someone is about to attack you? We will never get this perfectly right.
edpennington8 8 months ago
@edpennington8 "What about self defence?!"
What is it that you are really afraid of?
jeffiek 8 months ago
@jeffiek: I do not think that there is a simple rule 'government good'- I recognise the problems inherent in having governments. But I recognise that they (or at least some of them) are a necessary evil. So I have a simple rule 'no government at all is bad' I suppose. There are some simple rules. I guess you're right that if everyone obeys the 'no hitting' rule, and also everyone has a belief that everyone around them will stick to it, everything will be wonderful. But this will not happen!
edpennington8 8 months ago
@edpennington8

Show me one tyrant brought down by kindness.
calfcreek5 8 months ago
@calfcreek5 "what to do with evil?"
Expose it. The people will reject it, and it will die of loneliness. Evil persists because it is disguised. People don't recognize it.
You cannot destroy evil, since destruction itself is evil. It's like trying to end hate by hating.
jeffiek 8 months ago

MrGarky 8 months ago
@MrGarky So the troops stuffing Jews in the oven didn't know what they were doing? The mobs rounding up Jews and destroying their houses and stores didn't know what they were doing? Please. You can't be that naive.
There were a few US troops that did evil. They were caught, tried and convicted. Does Usama's army do that? Husseins? Your comparison is sophmoric. As to God, the belief in God is more rational than the belief in nothing.
calfcreek5 8 months ago
@calfcreek5 Those who worked at concentration camps were not your average nazi troops. From what I understand, those men were hand picked from the worst of the worst of society. And yes, as messed up as the idea is in actuality, I'm quite sure that they believed that they were doing the work of good. They believed that Jews were evil or whatever such nonsense, and that the perfect aryan race is mankind's only chance for world peace, and all of that silliness.
MrGarky 8 months ago 2
@MrGarky Hitler was not one to beat around the bush. He stated exactly what he felt about Jews. The nation that went along with that thinking were evil. By the way, many Germans did not go along with it, helped Jews, helped England and the U.S. defeat Hitler. Some were killed for their actions against the Nazis. Liberal Facists will always point to others for failure. It's hardwired. Nothing is their fault. The collective can never be blamed. Much as the current ones fault 'rich' people.
calfcreek5 7 months ago
@calfcreek5 The thing is, most (if not all) people want to be "good." The real question is, "What is GOOD?"
I read a book on crime once where the author, a former corrections officer, says that all the criminals he spoke to had their own justifications for their crimes. For example, the thief would say, "I may have stolen, but I'm not a criminal because I never hurt anyone." And the murderer would say, "I may have killed, but I'm not a criminal because I never stole anything."
MrGarky 8 months ago
@calfcreek5 This goes against the message of the entire film. You aint gonna solve nothing through violence. Its not so much the action, but the thought process behind it, the idea that violence is ok.....in certain circumstances. That preconception is what needs to change in order to make humanity sustainable.
dionathns 6 months ago
@dionathns Again, that's fine if both sides agree to not be violent. Unfortunately the world we live in doesn't and never will work that way. No one yet has answered my earlier question. Name one tyrant in all of history brought down by kindness. You can't because it has never happened.
calfcreek5 6 months ago 2
@calfcreek5 Peace will be a "forced" peace after centuries of agitation. The people will prefer peace in a state of serfdom than the rights of freedom which have tortured, exhausted and exploited humanity.
The people will be weary from suffering under their governments that we control. They will prefer to suffer anything under us than risk more of the torment and misery they have suffered under their governments. - Protocol 14
rea1001 6 months ago
@calfcreek5 Thats the attitude that that need to change. ahahahhaha, it doesnt, it cant, it never will. Well obviously if everyone says that, now humor me for a moment. What if thats not the case, its as easy as you changing those preconceptions. sorry for the horrid spelling.
dionathns 5 months ago

1981busch 8 months ago

Flugabwehrkanone 9 months ago
@Flugabwehrkanone Unless they've evolved to the point where the ETs are anarchists as well :) Which is probably why they never bothered visiting us and left us alone. They said to themselves "Oooh...these guys are too violent. Better they not know we exist!"
whitechocolatespace 8 months ago
@whitechocolatespace LOL that image is humorous.
But what if they haven't evolved to that point? It is criminally irresponsible to assume that all life in the universe is friendly. The survival of the species is at stake!
Flugabwehrkanone 8 months ago
@Flugabwehrkanone Well, it will depend on HOW the encounter happens. If it's them coming to us, then obviously they're the superior beings and if they're hostile - my advice is to run and hide ;) However, if it's us going to them, I figure it's a better than a coin-flip in our favor.
whitechocolatespace 8 months ago
@whitechocolatespace Why does everyone assume that just because they could get here, that we couldn't defend ourselves? A) Technology does not advance evenly. If they devoted their resources to space travel, it doesn't necessarily follow that they developed their weapons to a similar degree; B) They could have developed sleeper ships or used a natural phenomenon such as a wormhole to get here, meaning that they didn't really develop FTL;
Flugabwehrkanone 8 months ago

MiauZi69 9 months ago
@MiauZi69 Who prevents the state from using violence against the weak? The government is just a corporation with a monopoly on force. You don't stop violence with violence, and you don't kill demons with hate, but with love. Perhaps instead we should have a super-government to govern the government. And another government to govern that one. Perhaps that's why we invented God, to imagine that we ultimately win in the game of violence.
hyperspaceboy20 9 months ago

Simple as that.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W Why is religion messed up? Again, same reason. The Abrahamic religions tell people to never listen to their unconscious voice (which they identify with Satan), which means they suppress their shadow self. Over time this leads to extreme examples of indoctrination of children using fear tactics (out of control ego), pedophilism (shadow self coming out. Uncontrollable and primitive because they've never developoed it), very distubring acts of violence (primitive shadow self again), ...
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W When you really look into this idea of consciousness, you might begin to think there really is a grand conspiracy (think Illuminati, New World Order, Zionism, ...) at work to keep humanity in the dark of their minds. And there is, it goes back for thousands of years (but it's not the Illuminati (who are not bad). I call them the Family bloodlines.). They do this because they are negative-path beings who need our energy to survive and evolve to a higher dimension of consciousness.
nielss4 9 months ago
@nielss4 Do this thought experiment: Imagine that you DO have this utopian society with its ideals and no punishment in the usual sense. What do you do with those who are sociopaths? Insane? Voilent? What system would you have in place to deal with such individuals, and the actions that they will take? The only option besides the usual law enforcment is orwellian coercion, or control at the level of thought. Both would be very unpleasant elements of such a society.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@mysock351W These people should ofcourse be punished, but what you fail to understand is the cause of these sociopaths, which is almost always rationalization of their actions. They believe they did the right thing, even though their actions say otherwise. This is a normal result of a lifetime of identification with the ego. An unhealthy society encourages people to identificate with their ego, breeding sociopaths.A healthy society discourages this, breeding healthy balanced free-thinking people.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W You might ask that if everything is consciousness, than why can't animals think for themselves. Simple, "the story of humans is the story of ideas" as has been said by famous astronomer Jill Tarter. Humans have managed to create thoughts for themselves, and this lead to self-consciousness and the "ego". This is a great survival trait and the next step of evolution. However, living your whole life in your own created thoughts shuts you off from the universal consciousness.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W The next logical evolutionary step is not further identification with your thoughts or ego (as this creates division/wars/...), but reconnecting to your roots, the universal (un)consciousness which is more or less the same for all of us. This is where you can find God/infinity (which is not separate from you), which I find so hilarious that all famous scientists have been unable to grasp. They seek further and further into their own ego for God, ofcourse they can never find him :).
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W I recommend to watch some Eckhart Tolle videos.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W Positive-path beings do not need to do this. They willingly give energy to others and respect others' free will. This path is chosen much more often and is much easier. I got this information from David Wilcock/the Law of One/Project Camelot, should you ever be interested in digging yourself. I will shut the fuck up now.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W "If we are not willing to defend our society and enforce certain agreed upon rules, then we have no future." I agree, but an unhealthy society identificates lawful and unlawful with right/good and wrong/bad. This is very much the case as it stands right now. Again, this creates ego identification with laws, breeding sociopaths. An healthy society has laws, but they should never be identificated with right/good and wrong/bad. Counter-laws could stop this.
nielss4 9 months ago
In europe, principals like this where put into practice by the socialist government. It did two things. The first was create a huge, top-heavy welfare state. The second was it set up essentially unlimited immigration, which in turn allowed swarms of muslims into europe, who essentially are threatening to completely destablize the entire continent. Systems like this just dont work out here in reality.
mysock351W 9 months ago
Theres one glaring flaw with this: it ignores human nature. Societies built on utopian principals always decend into totalitarianism. Humans are, by their very nature, self-serving. There will always be those who will migrate to the top, and subjugate the rest. Thats the whole point of government. It sets up a system that sets up a framework of laws, such as ensuring individual rights, dictating economic transactions, etc. and punishes those who break the laws.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@mysock351W No government has ever truly cared about individual rights. To argue that is purely ineffective to the very point here. Only understanding will set us free. Stefbot's message here is meant to grow, and it will. That's the idea of this video, to not only teach the idea of anarcho-pacifism, but to help teach it to others. If you kill a killer, you become a killer. And then someone will want to kill you for it. This destructive cycle must be stopped.
rockoutmichigan 9 months ago
@rockoutmichigan The problem with this message is that its in a vacuum. No part of it is compatible with actual reality. There are many in the world who want america dead and gone. Not because of the evil right wing government, but simply because we have freedom. You cant have dialogue and peace with those who want war regardless of what you say. It just wont work. Just look at Iran. They think its their religious duty to destroy the west. Think any of this hippie nonsense will fix that?
mysock351W 9 months ago
@mysock351W Humans are self-serving because we forgot who we really are (infinite consciousness). We will only stop being self-serving if we live in a society which encourages becoming aware of our unconsciousness (remembering actually), and the first step of this is accepting/understanding our shadow self, instead of denying/ignoring it so it comes out all at once like an animal. This step will automatically result in a massive decrease of our ego and thus the harmony will increase.
nielss4 9 months ago
@nielss4 Humans are self-serving because of our evolutionary past. I would contend that our consciousness is far from infinite. Its relatively small, and limited by our own horizons, so we can never know everything there is to now, or experience. We have to always bear in mind that humans are animals, too, and will always exhibit these elements of behaviour. To ignore them, or assume that they can be molded like clay is very dangerous. Humans are not perfectable, and never will be.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@mysock351W "We have to always bear in mind that humans are animals, too, and will always exhibit these elements of behaviour." I agree, and I never said otherwise. A healthy society ofcourse doesn't taboo sex, but isn't about porn either :p. A healthy society accepts our roots as you say, so putting sex back to its divine roots is the most logical step. No sex breeds sociopaths. Porn breeds addicts.
nielss4 9 months ago
@mysock351W I always find it ridiculous how people talk about human nature, when it is clear they know nothing about their nature. What do you think evolution is about really? Unconsciousness becoming conscious of itself. That's it! Rocks are non-conscious, plants pre-conscious, animals conscious, humans self-conscious and the divine hyper-conscious. Modern society however wants us to becoming less conscious. This is the prime reason of all evil and greed. A conscious society needs no laws.
nielss4 9 months ago
@nielss4 Now, that doesnt mean that we will always be in a state of depravity. It just means that utopian idealistic movements such as this will be forever doomed to failure. The reason is that there will always be those who will not subscribe to it no matter how hard you try, and will serve their own wants regardless. This is why government with laws, police, and military are necessary. Some people will not submit to a system of mutual benifit and compromises, but will instead exploit.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@nielss4 Evolution is actually the process of organisms going through genetic drift and adaptating to their environment. That does not guarantee that you will get sentient beings. Lions will likely never evolve to be as smart as humans as a large brain is extranious to what is needed for them to survive in their environment. The form a basic social structure that survives by hunting prey. Theyre very well adapted to it, and dont need any extra brain power to do it.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@nielss4 Now the human body was very poorly adapted to surviving out in the wild. We have no fur, claws, or sharp teeth to defend ourselves, and cannot run fast to evade predators. Its this reason that the human mind developed. The only replacement for those defenses that where lost was intelligence that allowed us to manipulate our environment in ways that other animals couldnt. This is likely the main reason why our consciousness came to be. Its a byproduct of adaptation.
mysock351W 9 months ago
@mysock351W "This is likely the main reason why our consciousness came to be. Its a byproduct of adaptation." You really believe this don't you, and I can't blame you as we all have been indoctrinated with this Darwinian crap. I've investigated this for a long time, and I can only come to the conclusion that Creation is wrong, but so is Darwinian evolution. The truth is that everything is consciousness (this does not equal free-thinking) armageddonconspiracy.co.uk/Soul-Contact%281663914%29.htm
