  • Go Polly Go Polly!

  • Occupy Henley Regatta. Occupy Royal Ascot.

  • Chk John Harris & Jordan Maxwell Lectures @ YouTube also ' The Dot " ; Peace :

  • Fat boy looks like he takes the cocks of paying men .

  • that guys is pure twat

  • PT is a mindless leftwing reactionary.

  • Dam right its going to spark something...

  • I constantly read on youtube people saying stupid things about how Toynbee is a Champaign socialist or part of the liberal elite and because she owns money she’s therefore wrong and not dedicated to principles. Grow up! Address what she’s saying (for it is correct) and stop banging on about her having private villa or a large pension or whatever. I’m utterly sick of it!

  • @darkfox85 no but its quite silly for her to bash people for being greedy and not deserving money when she gets paid a huge salary for writing one column a week. if she cant practice what she preaches why should anyone?

  • @hammerandclaw It's irrelevant. Would you rather she said nothing of her views? To be honest with you, sneering at the rich who DO want equality and ARE fighting for it at hard as the poor is just bitterness. By practise as she preaches are you suggesting she drops her job, that allows thousands of people to hear our views, and joins all the rest of us shouting in the streets faced by police? She's doing her bit, we all need to do ours; leave bitterness out of the equation.

  • @strangelittlebeing equality in what sense? people are unequal. just think about it. its part of life. to have an society with equality of outcome would be in its essence unequal as it hampers those who are better than others. polly has no real interest in helping the poor otherwise she would support grammar schools, and would oppose mass immigration which has led to such high youth unemployment. but she doesnt. this is not bitterness on my part, as you crudely put it.

  • @hammerandclaw Equality in the sense of what we earn and where our money goes. Capitalism is a good idea, but has been proven time and again to be disastrous to big communities ending with (as we are seeing a lot of today) corruption at the top of the financial foodchain. People are given unequal situations to deal with, yes. But to write off person A as worth less than person B brings elitism into the mix, and do I have to list the many of examples of how damaging that can be?

  • @strangelittlebeing again in an economic situation that is not 'equalty' that is sameness. in such a situation the more productive people are discriminated against because they're dragged down to the level of others. if this can be shown (and it can) then there is nothing wrong with saying that one person is less than another, at least economically. capitalism isnt perfect and im certainly not some free market dogmatist. but im afraid its the best we have

  • @hammerandclaw Also, not sure why you blame youth unemployment on 'mass immigration' , the problem is a lot more than just 'these foreigners are better qualified than us and are stealing our jobs!'. And until I see you on youtube yelling some fat-cat-feeding suit into the ground, or better yet, taking action to 'support grammar schools', little of what you have to say can be respected. Polly's doing a fat lot more than you, yet you talk about practising what you prach.

  • what a truly ridiculous comment. what good does polly do exactly? and how am i supposed to mirror this, given that i am not in the position of a highly paid journalist with bbc history? and why should i have to join you in your mindless bashing of the capitalist system before respecting me. i didnt realise the average person was no longer allowed to have an opinion, or at least it seems, one not tied to the mainstream. that comment was slightly embarassing actually.

  • you fat fuck passing the buck

  • Poly is an idiot. She condemns capitalism, yet she sends her kids to private schools and owns 3 houses including a country estate and a large villa in Italy.

  • @mikesheen741: Please don't mention Miz Toynbee's lifestyle. Focus on her cohesive argument instead!

  • @t0mme1981 I'm just pointing out that she's a champagne socialist.

  • Haha, our good ol' girl Polly eviscerates this imbecile. Nice one!

  • I'd say he got owned.

  • went today to check it out. Only saw cannabis smoking, jobless scum clearing out beer bottles and playing loud dubstep outside one of the holiest places in the country. The woman on the right is incredibly naive. I didn't see anyone complaining during the golden age of 2001-2008. Every time i go to a hotel/restaurant in London i am served by a non english person. I have nothing against that but why don't these people apply for these jobs or do jobs that they feel they are too good for?lazy SCUM.

  • @KayGeBe1 Wait till it is your ass, and your pocket they start taking from, stop putting people in boxes, and realise that we are all humans, and the evil at the top do not care a shit for who you are. Enjoy Christmas, because who knows what next year brings, perhaps you may end up being one of the so called SCUM you tag people with

  • That man is a souless zombie .. did u really expect him to say any different.

  • Comment removed

  • This lady tells the truth. Who's the fat conservatard?

  • @TreesOnTheBeach He's a spreader of untruth employed by the super rich, who want a flat tax.(around 10%-though they've NEVER EVER paid that much! What the 1% do pay is claimed back in corporate welfare+subsidies FROM ME+YOU while the bulk of profits are sitting in the Caymen Islands)His main role though is KEEPING the conversation/debates AWAY from the main truth=All banks lend to their borrowers is DIGITAL money CREATED out of THIN AIR- "Now go slave to pay me back with blood, sweat then death!"

  • Why bother even debating with tossers like him. Taxpayers Alliance, he couldn`t give a fuck about taxpayers. His organisation is a fruad, a mouthpiece for the same people who ripped off millions of taxpayers.

Instead of debating with them we should be stringing them up from the lamposts, as has been said on here before these people don`t care about the arguments or demos.

  • Tarded fat wanker!

I've been trying to get a job in the U.K for years. I'm fakin starving, eating one meal of shite a day. I'm not on benefits because they make it so hard to claim. The peaceful solutions don't work, you think they're going to listen? Revolution is what we need!!!

  • @Tomsemporium stop wasting your money & time on the internet then

  • @Jenthomo88 seriously!?! what if he is in a library (free warmth free toilets free internet) looking for jobs, has just spend ages doing so and is now updating himself on current affairs (which he will need to have up to date if he is able to hold a conversation with people he has interviews with) How dare you judge!

  • I love Polly!

  • I've camped out for 8 nights at St Paul's and supported the movement from the second day it came to London in person. At the same time I've run 3 companies: Sunshine World LTD, 3Ryde LTD and the Sunshine Chalet in Poland and also a charity: Elysium Charity. These protests are NOT anti- capitalist. They are against corporate greed. The governments of the world have wasted tax payer money on war and conquest for thousands of years. This MUST stop. Only a global movement can possibly effect change.

  • What a Fat Wanker -- Why bother to go to work- NHS sucks -- retirment sucks -- Banks Suck -- goverment sucks. So whats the point!!! Live of income support let some one else pay the taxes to the rich

  • Fuk it, who wants a job this day and age,you want me to work you will have to pay me more.Thats how capitalism works innit, you want my services your gonna have to pay for it!

  • He got PWNED!!!!!!!!!

  • The whole economy is going to crash, it will be the end of the monetary system as we know it! And if it all goes to plan, that fat fuck will be out of work too!!

  • I am employed im one of lucky ones but im only employed as a part time worker on minimum wage and still have to live with my parents at the age of 26 and I still have to pay tax. Tell me what I have to show for my hard work and tax pounds while working for a company that treats me like an animal and living in a town rife with unemployment. All I can show is rich bankers and politicians employers that can now do what the hell they like because staff are now 10 a penny and a town rife with crime

  • see how out of touch these people are, I wish he worked the paddy field and made his own rice, money is "land and working the land" not a number in a computer and its people like him that have replaced the human worker into jobless or slaves.... he would be more humble if he new what real money was Stop winging about your markets and stock the, 99% of people don't cry for you .. you are just slave masters.. for now...we need digital democracy not the puppets. Police help us help you if you care

  • OCCUPPY THIS FAT FUCKS HOUSE !

  • and stomp his cat!

  • OH YEH START WORKING ! NO ONE HAS JOBS U FUCKING IDIOT

  • I hope that Toynbee woman realises that, in a truly capitalist system, the banks would have been allowed to collapse rather than be bailed out.

  • The psychopathic traits on which the bosses scored so highly, Board and Fritzon point out, closely resemble the characteristics that companies look for. Those who have these traits often possess great skill in flattering and manipulating powerful people. Egocentricity, a strong sense of entitlement, a readiness to exploit others and a lack of empathy and conscience are also unlikely to damage their prospects in many corporations

  • On certain indicators of psychopathy, the bosses's scores either matched or exceeded those of the patients. In fact, on these criteria, they beat even the subset of patients who had been diagnosed with psychopathic personality disorders

  • In a study published by the journal Psychology, Crime and Law, Belinda Board and Katarina Fritzon tested 39 senior managers and chief executives from leading British businesses. They compared the results to the same tests on patients at Broadmoor special hospital, where people who have been convicted of serious crimes are incarcerated

  • Problems with regulation! That has to be THE understatement of the past century!!

  • Polly Toynbee sickhead

  • Exactly! Its about a nasty, predatory form of corpoorate capitalism, and not anti-capitalism. Well done Polly! Anti-capitalism is a extreme left wing movement. The problem are the banks and global corporations. They have ruined peoples lives for their excesses. OLSX is represented by people from broad political & social spectrum, some even opposing but united in this. It shouldn't be hi-jacked opportunistically by special interest groups.

  • Polly Toynbee ROCKS! She is also active for the British Humanist Society and is more intelligent, caring and compassionate than a bus load of Buddhas.

  • FAT FUCKER ALL HE KNOWS ABOUT IS FOOD

  • eat the rich

  • word to the sister on the right.

  • @specialteaproduction word ? and what is the word ????? ,speak english or fuck off knobhead

  • she ate the greedy shitehawk breakfast

  • What a joke, that fatcat Jonathan Isaby telling people they should get jobs. No doubt on minimum wage whilst he sits on his fat arse making a fortune.

  • nothing new total rubbish from goverment rep's... its too late we have the internet and we have the people power.. only a matter a time untill the goverment crumbles to its knees , only then will they really want to lsten..much love for all those who stand on occupy's around the globe... al races and colours...

  • The city of London regulation is exactly the same as it was a few years ago. Derivative trading is still manipulating markets, off balance sheet funds still hide all the bad debt which is making our banks insolvent. The people who committed the biggest fraud in human history are still swanning about the world enjoying the fruits of their crimes.

  • I can only see one useless feckless person here (guy on the screen above) ,many of these people have jobs and have felt strongly enough to give up there VALUABLE time to Voice there DISGUST at the even More useless feckless person's Known as Bankers .!!!

  • well its been a week of idle fat fuckers(mainly politicians)claiming that most people who don't work are idle & feckless. what a fat fucking idle cunt! tax payers alliance is a front. sorry to say but he looks like the kind of guy no one likes!

  • Fuck Fox News and Sky News both two cheeks of the same ass

  • fat duck fuck gogdsg

  • out of touch my well fed friend, housing shortage , rising unemployment , education system failing wake and stop feeding your overfed fat cats and the political friends

  • wow, this is a fucking circus show. silly media.

  • The reason we can say "bankers are greedy and capitalism is bad" is because of the evidence that surrounds us.

    Things are getting worse.

The vast majority of people are getting poorer.

Corporations are giant wealth condensation mechanisms that work to concentrate money, and power, into the hands of the new 21st century robber barons.

Their pet yellow journalists, that will keep lying to us until we're all right back into indentured servitude. Notice the lack of OWS coverage?

  • whos wealth has it doubled ???? hmmm

  • See Russia Today for some real news of the real world. Gave up on the controlled mainstream news and what is being covered up.Useful too to see UKIP Nigel Farage's wars with words against the non elected Euro crats

  • @nightavis RT and PressTV have an anti-West agenda, they like to create fear and dissent in the lands of their enemies.

  • @kensei85 like most news networks. You're better watching RT if you're concerned with issues in Europe and USA though

  • @wyrda222 - This is true. Obviously, they have a bias as well, but that means they want to expose the truth abotu what's happening in The West. They seem to have a lot of good journalists whom actually look at each story on its merit, rather than setting the agenda and finding subjects to back that up.

  • @wyrda222 For example, there has been no mention of what happened in Oakland in the UK. It was all over RT - how they ripped the camps apart, arrested 100 people, used force...none of this was mentioned. If it was in Iran, you bet they'd be all over it - look at this police brutality - oppressing peaceful protest.

  • this guy should be strung up - yes bad capitalism -

1, new business ethics every business should be there to benefit the population, good business models are promoted and given tax brakes if they give a living wage to the employee

2 , everyone should have a living wage , weather in or out of work only then can big business earn these huge profits - this will make the working hours less as they will not want people sitting around doing nothing and getting paid , so everyone will be employed

  • To have capitialism you need savers, what we have is deptism.

  • Feckless, from that fat bastard? F**k me LOL!

  • Wow! As an American I can honestly say that our media doesn't have shit on the the British Media. Bravo!!!

  • No Jonathan you tool.

  • #stupidjunkie(no offence) lol maybe he should get off the pie and on the occupy,he should be a protester, he could camp-out without eating for a month, or if the other protesters need a barricade he would be handy

  • im pro capitalism but anti banks. capitalism is the best proven system we have. people have died to have capatilism. we need to put right the bad in our capitalism. eg central bank reforms. people will hate this movement if they think its anti capitalism. we need people on our sides

  • Capitalism cannot continue as it only assists the 1% as it is evident - how is capitalism helping the people working in sweat shops in poor countries who are making the rich richer and keeping them enslaved and working 18 hours a day just enough to feed themselves and live in sqwalor? Minimum wage with inflation rising higher does not work - eg.Starbucks employees barely pay their rent and food while the big bosses live in mansions - DEATH TO CAPITALISM. Peace.

  • 0:58

  • OMG who is that fat cuntface?

  • @stupidjunk978 he sounds a lil like david cameron....

  • @stupidjunk978 u talkin bout the dude on the right? he does kinda look like a relative of bubbles on trailer park boys.lmao

  • @bluntsnhalo i mean left

  • I agree, we r suppose to be one and its not its them working for them and us working for them,I don't have answers I just think when their system was created they had men in wigs, today we have the WEB. Time for a new political system remove the power u remove corruption, we need remige change which they r so big on with our money

  • in a capitalist system it's in a businesses nature to gain a monopoly on a market thus eliminating competition, when you are deemed 'To big to fail' or are such an asset to society that you are its main supplier of a particular good or service, some commentators believe this to be socialism (bill oreily included) but in reality the owners of the company are private so its more like fascism.

  • ha ha Roly Poly got a beating!

  • Why do people keep saying the protest is anti capitalist? It is anti corporatist. These occupy movements are drawing attention to the fact that multi national corporations run our governments and our politicians are mice in their pockets.

  • @RobDeManc I agree with you SO MUCH! And it needs to change NOW and it will change. There is no way I am going to let my grandchildren live in the world that they will if we don't stop this today.

  • @RobDeManc - It is the same thing. Capitalism is the system which allows a corporation to be created. The monetary basis behind capitalism which drives the system forward is meant to serve the people by creating a more efficient system of production, thus cutting inefficiences and improving living standards. The system has done this to an extent, but the original prediction when the system was conceived was that the richest would be philaphropists and redistribute their wealth.

  • @DarrenRyanMurphy - I don't agree. Our problems began 30 years ago when Thatcher and Reagan removed restrictions to the system. They also allowed the sale of debt, while at the same time cutting social housing in order to bring about a lucrative property market. This allowed banks to make huge amounts of money from mortgages. Our current crisis can be traced back to the 80s. Capitalism works fine as long as it is restricted to the areas where it works well.

  • @RobDeManc - The system is a global system, which we are one part of. The sovereign debt levels held by countries around the world has obviously been unsustainable (now that these ever-growing levels have been exposed). I hear about 'good capitalism', but their is no such thing - inequality, debt and bankruptcy are inherent attributes. People talk about Scandanavian countries, but their taxation policy is far left. We would drive the financial services out of London if we did the same.

  • @DarrenRyanMurphy - If these problems were started 30 years ago, why did the system crash in the 80s; why did the great depression occur; why were there crashes either side of the 1900?

The drive to push up house prices has been a disgrace - simply put them at a level where homeowners will have debt for life (i.e. mortgage). The right to buy was a positive step for first-time-buyers, but the policy should had a clause to ensure every house sold was replaced by another built.

  • @DarrenRyanMurphy - Crashes come with capitalism, in particular when regulations are removed. So if we are going to keep capitalism, then it is obvious we need regulation. It cannot be allowed to run free, it needs to sit within a strict political and legal frameworkd, which is not how it has been. I think the protestors are trying to articulate this.

  • @DarrenRyanMurphy - The principle of capitalism is good, in that ingenuity and hard work are rewarded. The problem at the moment is that bankers failure and greed has been rewarded. Plus the rewards are getting out of hand, corporate chiefs are awarding themselves too much for doing little and the workers are being squeezed in the name of global competition. We have lost our grounding over the last 30 years and those with money/power are addicted to obtaining more.

  • what we need to look at? fiat currency theft... end central banking or we end it for you!!!! u get me tho?

  • this dude is a bitch.

  • Greed

  • Good show Polly Toynbee! Your an inspiration for the people in Occupy London, what is really wrong with the Governments of the World!

  • Every one has to united, beat them at their game... everybody demand a no confidence referendum vote for the public,No confidence in government or Government system(out of date and corrupt ),they need to see it on their terms,NO ONE BELIEVES OR NEEDS THEM ANYMORE

  • He is blaming labour lol they r all the same who ever u vote for, different sides of the same worthless coin, remove politicians u remove the corruption, with web everybody who wants a say can have it,we don't need politicians anymore

  • @thestaunt Its because they are still trying to fool us that we have a democracy

  • Fuck fatboy!! Demand a no vote of confidence in Government or Government system, its corrupt, remove politicians and the political system replace with web

  • Doubled peoples wealth? LOL doubled his fat fucking waistline more like. Here here to the lady - there's a difference TYPES of capitalism, the social market economy of Germany serves the people and has created more wealth for more people than the US & UK - Germany contributed NOTHING to the recession... NOTHING... it was all the fault of the US & UK greed.

  • Join the zeitgeist movement and work towards a resource based economy. We are the biggest social movement in human history.

  • We should strive for a better system. Our current system is unstustainable, undemocratic, inefficient, inherently floored economically, and is entierly based upon scarcity. We no longer need to make resources scarce to maximise profits, nor do we need to design products in a way they break down in a respective amount of time to maintain consumer spending... We need a sustainable, efficient, and productive system, which is not based on profit, but based on the relationship to our planet.

  • 'this is going to spark something much more than you quite realise' you better believe it

  • Well said Polly. Thank you.

  • "conservative party front" spot on

  • Great comeback from Polly here. This guy is a moron for ignorantly dissmissing the reasons for these protests. Keep up the good work guys!!!

    Change is coming!

  • @hatton1985 The guy is spot on in my opinion. He is saying that we should protest, but it should not be vaguely against capitalism or corporations but against the negative aspects of these systems. Capitalism and democracy are the systems that have enabled the majority of citizens to live like the kings of the past. We need to protest the corruption, not the system as a whole.

  • @restlessnation - But that's exactly what the lady is saying - and you and the man in the video can't just generalise the argument of the protestors like that - a lot of them are protesting for a 'social market economy' - it is merely a different variety of capitalism - not a system of public anarchy. Let's replace unions with greedy public relations officials - NO... let's replace unions with works councials and protect/improve our damn industry.

  • @restlessnation councils*

  • @restlessnation She is not vaguely protesting against capitalism and corporations. She is trying to draw attention to the people behind this mess and the methods they use. Corruption is at the heart of our worlds corporations and they are simply using the methods our democracy allows to grow economically at the expense of others. It is time a new system is introduced, one that adopts ethical values
