my uncle had one of these on a c plate in 1995. he bought it from a specialist sports car garage at the time. he paid in excess of what it cost when it was new because it had been on the isle of man and had only covered 10000 miles from new at 10 yrs old! I still think this car is the best looking RS ever built by ford and wow for power at the time nothing could keep up. Unfortunately even though it was garaged and only used at weekends in the dry the then car thiefs ruined this exceptional car!

they done a s1 in 3 colours ,the common white, i believe 5 red original from the factory and 1 black one which princess diana asked ford to do for her,

S1 was made on B, C and D-plates. I believe that D-registered ones are the rarest with around 25 in existence. I love them and I can't wait till I can afford to buy one.

too late too keep one away from a boy racer :P i got a series 1 that im restoring i paid £750 with fsh and only 115000 miles its getting rebuilt at the moment from ground up just had a whole new floor pan welded in without touching the chassey number resprayed white inside underneath and outside wax coated underneath its going to be a minter! ive already spent £2500 on mine and will most probably need to spend a bit more on an engine rebuild.a very nice example of a S1 rs turbo Nice one Mate!
