enigma is there to assign control functions to your axiom. instead of the 'midi learn' procedure, like in ableton, fl, etc., it's simply a more direct way to tell your axiom what to do. OF COURSE .... YOU HAVE TO KNOW, WHAT CONTROLLER NUMBER IS NEEDED FOR WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU WANT TO FUNCTION (LIKE, PAN, FX VOLUME , ETC,)

AFTER 8 MONTHS OF OFF AND ON TRYING, I FIGURED OUT THAT THE ONLY WAY THIS SHIT WORKS IS IF YOU SET TO PRESET 20 !!!!!!!!!!! let me tell ya, i was close to moving to a fucking isalnd and shoot myself.

There is a better way to configure your axiom 49. I have pro tools 8 LE with an axiom 49 and what I've done is simply change the midi cc of my transport button. First don't enable the MMC remote in Pro Tools. Just add your Axiom as the midi controller in setup / peripherals. If anyone want to know, ask me cause it's a bit long to describe.

Your solution Works great.. but if you want the Sliders on your Axiom (or any other MIDI controller to work the Pro Tools mixer controls.. it gets a bit more complicated!! (I have a 1st gen. Axiom 61 and Pro Tools). Google "Zoom R16", "Midi-Ox"

first press the "recall" button and choose preset number 15 via the keypad or -/+ button.. then the transprot works in pro tools...

it is not enaough just to edit something in enigma load it onto device... you actually have to select the Program number, where it is stored. the behringer bcr works slightly diffrent. when u upload sysex, the behringer keeps the uploaded setting aunsaved within RAM

so everything said in this video does work, just open the correct program number via "recall"

i think i know why this video wont work for all users. i have seen another tutorial for the axiom "pro", they mentioned that pro tools uses diffrent controller on mac as on windows... at the axiom pro therefore, they have two prestes: program 1 for mac, and program 3 is for windows users. i think it is the reason why his video did not work for me.. i am windows user.. still i am wondering how to work out the correct controllers for wndows. i might give m audio support a call

@tongeneratorcom I had played with this for a few weeks too, but I have now got my Axiom transport controls working under Windows (Vista). 1. Press the Zone/Group button on the Axiom, so it lights up blue. 2. Press all four of the "Group" buttons at once ( A, B, C, & D) 3. Repeat similar with the first three Zone buttons. 4. Press 15 on the number pad. This got my transport controls working. Don't forget to configure as per the above video first. I hope you can get yours working!

i dont get it to work either.. i loeded program 15 and loaded it onto my device, then i start pro tools.. nothing.. it is just frustrating.. i am trying to get the m audio axiom 49 to work in pro tools for 2 weeks, no sucess, i dont know what to do anymore... no where any help either in the 1200 page pro tools manual or in the m audio manual... actually all what happens is.. when i have the mixer window activatet the play button changes the panning of some channels

hypercontrol technology refers to the controlling of the knobs for vsti and programs on the software but will they work in fl as this is da only software i want 2 use or only 4 protools

Can you assign the keyboard to play any instrument that is in fl?

i download the enigma axiom 49 to my windows xp but it dose not work i hit the recall on the axiom and it went to p15 but when i go to axiom 49 default and i go to 15 gm mixer on the top right it tells me[ cannot modify axiom 49 defaults because it is marked as ready only] thats what it say can you help me thank you

The midi for the instruments work, the only that it does'nt is the transport, you have any idea why if its not the connection?

no idea why it doesn't work....have you loaded Enigma and checked your Axiom's default presets?

If you did a factory reset of the Axiom that would have erased preset 15. You'll have to reload it onto the device with Enigma.

Thank you. I bought the axiom 61 during the summer. and have no clue how to use it. I'm new to recording and computers in general. Very confusing stuff for a newcomer. I've been recording some guitar songs. Still trying to figure out the synth/drum plug ins. Very complicated and discouraging. I think your videos will help me though.
