When I signed in I was expecting to see another holiday/Mafia film (I enjoyed the others) but when I saw this on my list I laughed and thought "Back to porridge". My wife and I were doing some teamwork today although not as physically demanding as yours but requiring the same stamina... we were pickling beetroot, a LOT of bloody beetroot.

@baconsoda Hi Brendan, don’t talk to me about courgettes already, courgettes I have, I can’t do beetroot either ever since Sister Peter forced it down my neck at school when I was five, but here’s a trick I once heard concerning beetroot, make a hole in a large beetroot and insert a daffodil bulb, plant in autumn, voila red daffodils in spring, maybe.
