this bike had no jetting done and just with the system on there was a noticable increase in throttle response.But might I also add that this improved further the more you openened the airbox, so id say that with jetting and fuelling sorted, air box open there is alot more to be had out of it.Let me know how you go
very nice sounding, i have a 2011 klr and was thinking of doing this after a few other mods, how did the power feel? any better response? also did you get the carbs jetted or was that unnecessary?
I have a 2009 KLR650 with a full staintune as well. It is lounder than stock but I don't find it at all annoying on longer rides. Having said that I normally ride with a road bike style helmet which keeps noise out pretty well, a dirt bike helmet with no visor would be noisier I expect. Also remember the noise tends to radiate more to the back of the bike and the rider is in front of most of it, I guess what I'm saying is it sounds louder to people around you than it does when I'm riding it.

damn that seems really loud compared to stock. does it get annoying on longer rides?

complies to the 94db rating with restrictor fitted, is a little louder without.what is annoying to one rider is a joy to another, but didnt annoy me
