@komedylover The suicide lane is the lane where you are up against their tower, and far away from yours.

@komedylover Toplane is the long lane for radiant and short lane for dire, it means that radiant can't make pull at toplane and dire can. in dire's top lane,creeps stay near to tower, while it happens in radiant bottom lane. the carry can farm better when creeps aren't away from tower. the only thing that can stop enemy pulling creeps is puting a strategic ward in the corret place, but it is expensive ($200).

they have to patch in a surrender button, most of the dota games are pretty one sided because matchmaking wants you to stay at 50% win ratio, so if you wont 5 games in a row you have to deal with alot of noobteams, and getting raped or wait 20 mins for the game to finaly finish is ridiculous

@SwinubLoveShaymin It's not just about the farm, you've got to be able to kill them too. At best Alchemist stops the spiders, but not the wards. No one's going to let you just walk up and kill those for free money. But that's besides the point. Assuming Alchemist can even get decent farm on any of the lanes (Which I doubt) then he's going to have a very difficult time closing the gap and doing anything in a teamfight.

@HDuser100 Dota 2's beta is an actual beta, Battlefield 3's beta was more along the lines of marketing trickery ie. telling people to pre-order so they would get early access to beta.

Just be patient, if you don't get into the beta, the game will come out sooner or later, of course it is Valve.

Also, you don't need to know famous people to get into the beta, I got into the beta by just taking the survey, and being patient, and sending some annoying emails to Valve begging for one :D

You do not want people to judge games based on a beta, that's just stupid. Not to mention, BF3's beta was too short to have any actual impact, it was just a demo, nothing more.

They've done an excellent job with D2's beta.
