Dude, please learn some form of safety while making home made guns, i saw at least 5 instances where you could of shot your finger or face off. you really shouldn't point a loaded weapon at yourself, especially a fully cocked one with no safety. my advise would be to illustrate your designs with a spent case. btw its a cool design, not sure how well a wooden barrel would hold up though, maybe good for 2 shots? ive had one of my friends who's a gunsmith design one for me that is 16mm in length.

I would use metal tubbing or copper tubbing but plastic is alright and to make your bullet more accurate get a drill and a drill bit i size smaller then the tube itself and drill the inside so that way the barrel is rifled. :D
