  • get rid of that body kit dude...

  • Rims suck ass and lambo doors make the car look even worse then a total car at a junk yard.

  • i wanna put a h22a in my dc2 but should i go for b20 instead?

  • You gotta post how much u spent on the rebuild

  • lambo doors really? wow and that car could be real nice. :(

  • @monkeyturd15 So depending on which way the doors open makes a car nice or not? Oh ok

  • @TLEJT true true, typically cars with doors that open differently than normal are nicer

  • @TLEJT No it just makes it look tacky

  • @monkeyturd15 haha, well when i put them on it was the thing to dom car is totally different now doors are actually for sale.

  • Perfect build. Really like it.

You have done a big hard work there.

Wish you a good ride !

  • Fuckin' YEEAH BUDS!!! now that was a great piece of work. What was your grand total? I dont know if i should rebuild my H22A4 or build an H22A on the side.

  • u used the same motor mounts if i do the conversion on mine i wouldnt have to change them right ? let me know

  • @215Montana if your putting a h22 into a accord you can use your stock mounts, but i would suggest to save up for some stiff mounts if your going to do any mods

  • wat is the top speed!!!

  • @Derralllewis idk what the top speed is i'b just seen it at about 130mph in 5th gear (5000rpm) on the dyno with about 4000rmp left

  • liked the buidl but the body kit has to go...

  • @mateopinero body kit gone! been gone for a while check out my other vid of it on the dyno its now flat black!

  • should have went with a mishimoto half sized radiator

  • @Hboy791 i agree, i have a half size radiator now with my new header set-up but sadly is it isn't mishimoto :/

  • I put down 553whp and 420tq with my H stock sleeves and it's been holding strong for 3 years now. Your numbers suck! And, that was with only 19lbs

    of boost.

  • @Hduceduce these numbers are only with 8lbs so you comparing 8lbs to 19lbs doesn't make much sense?

  • ive been watching this video over and over and i honestly have to say that your power numbers cant be right, you arent going to get that much more torque than your horsepower. also h22's can hold up to 450+ hp on the stock block. the only reason the h breaks under too much pressure is because the ringlands on the newer h22's suck. but ive seen stock internal h22's handle 25 psi and 520hp with a good tune.

  • 0:35 they look like little faces xD

  • @MCLOUDHIPHOP watch it with the volume down.

  • @jnalley2 i actually love this song

  • Never really into Honda tuning, but, you didn't fuck this one all to hell and you did in a real pro way, I will tip my hat to this build.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 appreciate it it was a lot of fun doing it and doing it the right way i'll never forget it

  • how did you make to much torque? 350 seems a little high considering the hp is usually 50 more on h's

  • @hell13fire at the time this vid was made i had skunk2 stage 2 all motor cams but thought i had turbo cams because i was sent the wrong ones from skunk2...since i have sold those cams and replaced with the turbo cams

  • @jnalley2 that makes no sense, that wouldnt give you that uch of a gain, people use all motor cams instead of turbo cams all the time cause they give better airflow, you should have kept them.

also the 8psi on an h22 is a myth. its safer but the stock h22 block holds 450hp bone stock. the 8psi would be lucky to get you to 300 on the stock motor unless you had a great motor and setup. the record for an h right now is 589 hp bone stock with 25psi.

  • my h22 is stock and at the moment i am running 14psi and 362whp... imo you spent a lot of money to just be where a stock h22 can be. but still this is a good build video. hopefully you can get more out of it. and i still dont understand how you have more torque than horsepower. especially that much. it almost doesnt sound true js

  • @hell13fire as discussed many many times in this video thread this is only numbers from the car at 8 pounds...i dont understand how thats so hard for everyone to understand its right in the video discription? i have more torque then hp when this video was made because skunk2 sent the wrong cams i have stage 2 all motor cams rather than stage1 turbo cams but didn't find out until later...i now have the turbo cams and produce lower torque numbers than hp.

  • why didn't buy a 6 puck?

  • @livie1234147 good question..idk...didn't know at the time..and i got this one at a good deal

  • help me out with the map sensor. im trying to wire it to the one on the intake manifold instead of using the black box

  • like the t shirt at the end and its true real rides are built not bought...

  • Nice build, how much did it cost you?

  • hey man a h22 can take higher than 8 psi, my bud had one in a eg hatch compression was 7.1/1 he was runnin 43 lbs

  • @800whpcivic he wasn't running that on a stock motor...i was talking about stock motor and reliability for 8psi...your not gonna want to put much more than 8-10 on the stock motor..for me looking at around 20psi i had to sleeve the block

  • @jnalley2 hey man, where can i find the pistons and rods you have and where can i get my motor sleeved?

  • @jbigogno3 everywhere online...i ordered mine through a friend who owned a ship so they came from some of his wholesalers...but the motor can be sleeved at any machine shop but this one was sent to Darton to be sleeved

  • hey man i like your set up i have a 90 accord cb7 and i am running a h22a setup in mine i was wondering if you have ur a/c and pwr steering still and if so do u loose performance

  • sexy cb7! i have an h22a cb as well and something that stuck out at me would be that my girl has an eclipse as well ha

    wait is it auto?

  • sexy cb7! i have an h22a cb as well and something that stuck out at me would be that my girl has an eclipse as well ha

  • Hey man how much around for a something like this??? Thanks

  • this is the motor that i wana put in my car...cheee one h22A4..brah den wud be cherrayyy. shiiiiit dat only took you one day?? perfect for my 91 accord lx wagon =] dude u made my day haha. yup @altronzero: love the look on they faces looking at one solid accord passing..shoooooo shud see my face when i see one hahahaha

  • another good video wrecked by the music

  • Honda Accords are the sickest looking Hondas in the 90 to 93 time frame. Great job on the build. .. And your shirt is %100 correct the sickest rides are built.

  • hey man i have an s2000, and i was wondering where i can get axles for it, i want them to last, because my turbo build should be pushin 480 to the wheels

  • @neerredd check out Gator Racing Axles...their technical department was great at helping me get the right setup for the power i wanted to make and they were built specifically for me and shipped to my house within like 2 weeks.

  • why do all the badass engine build videos have this gay ass song?

  • why do all the engine build videos have this gay ass song?

  • Sleepers kick ass.

  • hey, where did u get this engine,. i need an engine for my LUDE... pistons are damaged due to timing belt tionsioner not being fixed on time.. ( according to honda dealership ) they wanna sell me an engine and install for 3000 +.. i donno what would b better... or i can go all out.. get a k20.. or just get my engine built....

  • why would u have put that fully built h22a into a 4 door at least a 2 door accord and not even then why an accord...

  • @TheAleksOne dude its to make ppl look suprise you dumbass! ppl like you who would never thaut that an accord could do that, i love accords, now stfu , he like it! i Like it! its fcking awsome build! Ty Sweet ride btw bro

  • why spend all your money fully building a slow pos? buy a muscle and fully build that way more power then this soapbox racer. sounds better too doesnt sound like a bee buzzing in your ear

  • check out h22squad.com

  • final cost?

  • did u upgrade suspension, and rotors

  • hey bro where did you get the engine from can you inbox it to me,, thanks

  • How much was it after everything? (minus tune?) I'm sure it was a metric fuckton lol

  • A real Prelude would be nice instead of an old old Accord. the Engine Looks brand new, thats awesome!

  • @AltronZero i guess thats your personal opinion..i mean i love Preludes but i also love Accords! plus the look of peoples faces when an old 92 Accord blows past them :)

  • @jnalley2 hell yea lol

  • really nice dude i liked that shirt to, i got a crx and im putting a fully built h22 in it

  • you just motivated me to find an h22 for my 92 ex coupe....recently blew my head gasket and dont know what to do ...but i might be gettin a bmw so the ricerocket will be my project...nice job my friend.

  • Jnalley : thanks for the reply . i guess we are one big cb7 fan-mily .you mention that the side skirts and bumper are for sale. where is it for sale? can you reveal that company to us? i'm also thinking of getting one... but sadly the inner part is never as sick as yours...300 plus hp is insane.. and so as you.. even my 1uz fe v8 engine 4 liter only squeezed 212 hp only...

  • body kit be gone!

  • @xxOMAR313xx it is! check out my other vid

  • nice nice nice, wat intake manifold is that? sk2?

  • @asiangunner901 yup skunk2!

  • So you ran CP pistons without sleeving it the first time? Just curious becuse as far as i know Mahle Gold's or oe's are the only thing you should have used with the Frm's. If that's true that's why it blew. Nice build by the way. If you need any parts hit me up.

  • @22hatch no i never did i found out before i ever got it in the car.

  • who painted ur engine and trans?

    looks really good

  • @nextrider123 i got the block powder coated locally and i sprayed the tranny with high temp paint

  • @jnalley2 hell ya how much was it?

  • @nextrider123 i got the block done for $75 (i kinda knew the guy) and then like 10 bucks for the spray paint...so pretty cheap

  • @jnalley2 hell ya u doing anymore builds soon?

  • @nextrider123 not really, still just working on this car...i'm about to graduate so i gotta do the whole get married, pay for bills, buy a house thing..haha..but when i get established my next thing will be an rx7 with LS1 swap been something i'v wanted for a while now.

  • to bad real race cars don't have those stupid lambo doors, why would you ruin a car and put those on it? that has to be the dumbest add on. they increase weight and there by rob power from the vehicle. every 10 pounds you add to a vehicle it take 1 horsepower away. so big stereos and stupid lambo doors rob power.

  • @engineheader thats ok i'v got enough to spare!!...hater

  • @jnalley2, you apparently don't understand my comment, I was basicly trying to tell you, if you are building a show car with a big stereo and lambo doors there is no need to spend so much on the engine, but if you are building a race car, go minimal on the interior and spend all the money on drivetrain. but some poeple think they can have the best of both worlds and that never works.

  • @engineheader it can if your not trying to build an all out race car or the best show car...i'm building a car that makes me happy, a car i can take to car shows and race tracks

  • @jnalley2 I am all for building a car that makes you happy. I just don't get why you would build one car to do two things. something a friend told me comes to mind "knowledge of all, master of nothing". why build a car that can be ok at two things when you can build a car that can be great a one thing. that is my point, if you are going to build a car, have a focus for it. don't have it try to do so much that is can't do any of them well.

  • @engineheader i see your point, but will have do agree to disagree. If someone has an all out race car and they go and put neons or something that makes no sense on it, yea i'll probably laugh, but they had a personal reason for it and that makes their car what it is, my doors set my car apart from others and its the things that stand out that makes people remember cars..when i get to the point i'm taking out interior to save seconds at the track the doors will come off, but thats not my purpose

  • @jnalley2 I like that you are at least open to the idea of taking things off to save weight if you want. good luck with the shows and on the track, wish I could be racing you.

  • u still got that f22 by chance

  • @dohczc420 just sold it 125 bucks...

  • @jnalley2 fo sho i wanted that head for my 2.6 liter beast i have in the works guess ill keep the f20b head on

  • you should have gotten a block guard as well! if your going to run more power.

  • @FairlyObvious11 not necessarily, block guards can save you front possibly cracking your block but they also can create hot spots or not save you from cracks

  • @jnalley2 word, they also work wonders ad ive never had that happen. i was runnin 25lbs on stock internals all day. idk looks good tho.

  • how much you spent on the motor

  • Hey bro, how much was the total build cost?

  • i have one more question did you buy the h22a engine harness or u modify the harness ??? man its insane i have an accord lx 94 and i find out a h22a engine from a prelude 93 to 97 can fit perfectly with few very simple changes !!!! and saving money right now just getting some info thanks!!!

  • @slokytheone you modify the f22 harness

  • in malaysia ,we don't have skyline body kit for accord.. so you meant a skyline body kit can surely fit my accord?i want to buy one too. can you spare me some information on where to buy it? thanks very much jnalley2..my accord will never come as close to yours..

  • @suzytang no its a kit for the accord its not off of a skyline its just made to look like a skyline

  • where you buy your koyo raditor at?

  • @crmp2008 i got it offline from a company doing a sale...i think maybe it was koyorad.com or something of that nature

  • where you buy your koyo radtior at?

  • lets see some running of the beast man.

  • nice build but u r crazy... but if u got the money fukkit then y not

  • do you know the webside for the bumper. you mentioned skyline bumper.but is it for the older skyline? r32 or something?

  • hi the brother.. very very cool project you got there.. and by the way,did you make that front bumper yourself?

  • @suzytang no its a skyline body kit for the accord

  • Nice build. Thanx for taking the time to post!

  • wat did this cost to do? i would love to do this except in a 5th gen cd5 coupe

  • Hey man i have a question. How much boost are you runnung now that you sleeved the motor and how much did it cost to have it sleeved? Also, is the H22 LS tranny a 5 or 6 speed? i have a H22a4 5th gen Prelude and i was woundering if it was the same tranny. Thanks - Josh

  • @HondaPreludeMan36 hay man, i'm running about 18psi now but the darton sleeves will hold from 30-40psi it was $1,000 to ship get the work done and get it back. the tranny is a 5 speed

  • great car great song great vid...thanks

  • what brand front bumper?

  • i jizzed from 2:44-2:47

  • Whoever told you a stock h22 cant handle more than 8 psi was wrong.lol Not to mention the fact that an 8 psi rating on its own is completely irrelevant without knowing what kind of compressor a.r. the turbo is sporting.

But Ive seen completely stock bottom ended h22's with head work make over 400 whp. All Im saying is that you have the potential to make much more power! :)

  • @jdmrider1 this has already been discussed in earlier comments...it is refeering to the reliability of the motor the block wont handle higher boost for a long period of time, and yea i know i can make much more power i have a sleeved block all the video says is that i made that power at 8 pounds!

  • I wouldn't recommend using a racing pulley in place of the stock harmonic balancer unless the a few extra horsepower is worth breaking your crankshaft. Stock harmonic balancers are designed to reduce flex in the crankshaft during the power stroke. Racing pulleys don't dampen the flexing in the crank and tend to reduce engine longevity.

  • How deep are you into this build in terms of money?

  • @Talta184 motor between 15 and 20g's....body/interior/wheels about another 10g

  • @jnalley2 you could of bought a supra with that amount well close to it

  • @miketothesupra dont remind me i hear it all the time, dude you cold have bought a vette, supra, a nice new reliable car...lol sometimes i wish i had but i'll be happy with the car when i get it right!

  • @jnalley2 15 to 20 on the powertrain???? is everything gold plated?lol

  • Nice setup man.

  • Nice set up man.

  • why auto tensioner?

  • @c7andrei good point...this tensioner actually failed but luckly didn't hurt my engine...it has since been converted to manual tensioner

  • @jnalley2 mine failed on a stock motor lol.

  • @jnalley2 mine failed on a stock motor lol.how did you sleeve an closed deck h22?

  • nice vid where did you buy the engine from?

  • @JrHatch34 Unitex out of Texas

  • yo what bumper/lip is that??? and side skirts???

  • @navyseal19876 i think its called black widow rear and side skirts, and skyline front bumper....the kit is actually for sale if your interested as well as the dual exhaust setup

  • Good build :D

  • Good build. The engine looks great. I am about to start a very similar h22a build and put it in my 1993 cb7 coupe. It is cool to see such a nice looking h22a build step by step. Good vid.

  • @H22ACB thanks man good to hear from a fellow cb7 owner, one day i'll get the inspiration to edit this video and put up the new pics of the way the car looks now that its back to the stock body.

  • @jnalley2 hey i have the same cb7 also and i want to build a h22a with a gt35r turbo, im new to this stuff and i was wondering if you could help me out with a afew things??? anyway i can get contact with you .......... maybe by email..

  • i guessing that you found out about the FRM cylinder liners and your aftermarket pistons gouged the sidewalls of the cyl and thats what blew it up not the 8psi. You were doomed from the start not having it sleeved. Not because of the block but because of the cyl liners. I noticed that the first block was a closed deck and the second one was an open deck block.

  • @TurboNFRStwoK not exactly...i found found out before i finished the build so i never ran it with turbo pistons and unsleeved block so that wasn't the issue and it never blew up...

  • That h22 is teh sex. But just wondering, why'd u put it in an accord? i bet a crx or civic, or hellz even a prelude could get a bigger kick out of it. But still, very nice. I wish i had the cash and the knowhow to do this. and like a few other peiople asked, what did u use to tune it?

  • @chillincruisin well mainly because i already had an accord. and because people dont expect the car to have what it does so it pretty funny sometimes!

  • look up jax fl h22. he puts 20psi gt35r on stock block except pistons and made 450whp. so plz everybody stop passing the myth that a h22 can only hold 8psi you dont know dont say

  • @TheBigpunn421 You are retarded, yeah it will take 20psi stock for about a few weeks and then due to the aluminum block and aluminums porosity issues it will grenade like fuck. Get educated before you make dumb ass comments.

  • What did you use to tune?

  • @SpartanProject2 Hondata S300, with Hondata Map, and Hondata Boost Controller

  • whats the power/weight ratio? would imagine it would rock in an Accord

  • @inokichi13 my car is about 2800 lbs so not amazing but not bad either.

  • where did u get the tranny from ?

i have a automatic k24 that i wanna build and im trynna convert it.

    THANKS

  • @lxlSTARBAIlxl i got the tranny from a local place to me in South Carolina called R&T that imports motors..i had to talk them into splitting the tranny from a motor though...and then i found a manual doner accord that i got the linkage, pedals, and lines from

  • @jnalley2 , was just gonna say its not sleeved when that explanation was given lo ,muist have been a right pain in the ass

  • @rs200000000000 well it was wasy because i just sent it to darton and they sleeved it, i mean it was a pain to pay for it!

  • how much did all this cost you?

  • oh in the video looked like you had the balance shafts in the motor? i just finished up my h2b and i gotta say i didnt feel much of a vibration even with solid mounts you did the balance shaft kit from H-T?

  • @Aznlife502 your right at the time i made ths video i had them i meant that i deleted them later...i also have solid front and rear mounts, and not i didn't do the kit from H-T, i had the motor down to the block so i threaded and pluged the holes that sent oil to the shafts and welded up the pulley bracket and used it as a block off plate for the block.

  • looked like a nicely built motor. any reasons for leaving the balance shafts tho? you probably could have put down a lot more power without them

  • @Aznlife502 dont have them anymore made my own deletion kit! didn't like the vibration at first but now i'm used to it.

  • so u did an auto-5spd conversion

  • @jdm4life89 yes! it was fairl easy, found a doner car and did it. the engine was out of the car when i did it made it a quick job.

  • where did u get that rides are built shirt bro?ha

  • @paintballjunkie65 lol...a local performance shop..REDLINE AUTOSPORTS..we made the shirts for a car show we helped put on.

  • You should of ditched the baby bottle and got a bigger turbo. The 350hp is about all a T3 turbo can handle.

  • @sleepwalker29 the one i have can make around 400hp but your right i need a bigger/better turbo.

  • Comment removed

  • where did u buy ur motor?

  • @t4pur0 a company out of texas that imports motors...called UNITEX..they were it was about 1200, could have got it cheaper but they were a reliable company that offered a warranty

  • @SeanAxela NO! thats just at 8 psi....motor is built for 30psi...a lot more horsepower is in the motor just dont have the stats online... :)

  • @sunnyddude for me its cause i eventually want around 600hp..if i were to simply build a NA motor i wouldn't do it to a 4cyl.

  • how much were your axels

  • @MrJoshyoung18 around $500 including shipping

  • @jnalley2 3000$ in tuning? Why is it that much. I have everything you just named except for the tuning and boost controller and Im only at 12grand

Hows the motor holding? Any problems so far?

  • @SpartanProject2 the motor is doing okay now...i'v had lots of tuning issues..not sure if its been my tuners or my car...probably a little combination of both.! one time my cuplins were just exploding and not holding boost..another time my 4bar map was messing up and wouldn't read past 8 pounds...another time my oil pick up bolts came loose and i lost oil pressure, just different things every time its been on the dyno 7 or 8 times now.
