Edgewood was 22-0 that year beating both Bloomington schools. 4/5 starters from that year play(ed) college athletics. They were legit and ranked 1st in state.

Indiana high school basketball is an old state tradition. People still love to go to the invitational tournaments at the local high schools and follow their local team through the state tournament. Indiana high school is the biggest high school recruiting hotbed and consistently produces the best NCAA and professional basketball talent. It's a shame so many of these talented kids end up going out of state when they have a marvelous program just an hour drive down SR37 in Bloomington.

Hey, I love that Eric Gordon is going to IU, because I'm a huge IU fan. I have no problem with NC either. And youre right, NC would probably kill PHS, a smaller school (although we beat New Albany, a very good 4A school). With all of that said, the NC student section was pathetic.
