To the UTRC MV4+,

I raced in the Dad Vail regatta this past weekend in the George Mason MV4+. On Friday morning, your 4+ and mine were in the same heat. I just wanted to commend you for an extraordinary race between the two of us for 2nd place. The pressure you guys put on us in the last 1000m was incredible and I can truthfully say it was the most intense, challenging and painful race I have ever rowed. You guys are an outstanding crew and deserve to be recognized. Best of luck.

I am the coach for the U of T crew. Thanks so much for your note. You are showing great sportmanship I would like to see more in our sport. The finish between your crew and ours was very intense and as you know, heartbreaking for us! I wish you the best of luck in your future races. If you guys drop by Toronto, let us know.
