Obama has never voted to ban handguns, nor has he voted for a 500% tax increase-the latter has never even came about. Not sure what tax you are paying. In fact, when in the Illinois legislature he voted for a House Bill to legalize deer hunting with a handgun. Regarding Assault weapons, they aren't made for hunting animals they are made for hunting something else. A true hunter isn't going to use an automatic weapon for hunting...none that I hunt with anyway.

"Assault weapons" aren't automatic weapons. They're specifically semi-automatic. Learn your gun-banner definitions if you're going to defend them without lying.

Hunting is also not the only non-violent use of firearms. In fact, a lot of people opposed to hunting still like to shoot.

If you hunt with an AR-15 you're a dolt. And besides, neither an AR-15 nor a pistol is considered an assault weapon. The AR-15 is the semi-automatic version of the M-16 ASSAULT RIFLE. And if you believe that anyone in the general population should be allowed to purchase an M-16, you're dumber than you sounded in your comment.

I coyote hunt with my AR-15, and hunt deer with my AR-10 (big brother of the ar 15), so your logic about hunting with the stoner series of rifles is flawed and you are a dolt. M16 ASSAULT RIFLES are legal to purchase with a tax stamp and its pre 86' manufacture. BTW "Assault Weapon" is not a military definition of a small arm at all, just some scary sounding word to demonize firearms
