You can't compare who is the best vocalist. Both Axl and Myles have a wide vocal range better than Scott. Scott and Axl are maybe better performers than Myles. Scott is probably the one with the most rocknroll lifestyle of those 3 (drugs, women etc.). I think that some songs fit better to one vocalist than others. E.g. Paradise City -> Axl, Starlight is made for myles none could make it better, but i really love Scott's - Patience. All are great vocalists and I love them all.

@JohnnyBRose you sure about those numbers as far as octaves go? I don't think there is a person on earth who can sing in 6 octaves. Even a 4 octave singer is a rarity, and Axl falls short of that. That being said, range is not the only measure of voice quality.

@leoghmackkdkeksda I guess you don't really get it. Just because someone posts it on Youtube and says its true, doesn't mean it is. I don't dislike Gn'R. I actually really like Slash's guitar sound. Axl isn't a bad singer either. But certainly is not capable of singing in 6 octaves. There are singers with more range than him that aren't capable of that. No need to justify who your favorite is with exaggerated stats. Who cares if somebody else has a different favorite.

how people forget....very, very fast...axl was and will always be the best vocalist.he sings with various types of voices....he sings clean, he screams, than crispy and he has 4.1 octave in full voice....and with falseto it's6 octaves.he can sing soft...he can sing powerful..he is the one who brought us all to gnr. admit it. he was the first thing that attracted you to gnr.and now you forget it...'cause he ain't playing with slash?.....slash is good...awesome..but not only one..there are others

@JohnnyBRose actually, Axl was the last thing on my list when I first started listening to GNR. It took my a while to get used to it because I found his voice obnoxious. He WAS one of the best back in the day. He has lost it, and GNR is dead. Myles has a better voice, a wider range, and to top it all off, he actually shows up to gigs on time if at all. The only thing you could say Axl wins on is the grit in his voice.....that's about it.

@digitalph33rfan9 myles is good...very good...he was the main reason i went to slashes concert....hehas not a wider range.....he uses falseto for songs that axl sings in full voice....so that's higher then him...and there is no need to speak about depth of the voice...'cause axl has one of the deepest vocals in rock music....but i personally like them both...i prefer axl...and i understand that some people prefer myles....but you can't say that myles is better then axl...vocal speaking...

@JohnnyBRose I disagree....HEAVILY. My opinion of Axl aside. Don't get me wrong. Back in the day, he was unbeatable. Nowadays, every time I hear him nowadays, I look for my cat o make sure she's okay. Besides, even when he was good, he couldn't compare to Robert Plant, Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, Freddie Mercury, Bon Scott, David Lee Roth, Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio, Ozzy, the list goes on forever and ever. Axl WAS good, but how good he was has been drastically exaggerated.
