i remember i was about 6 or 7 when i saw this with my mom and my mom was crying and i asked what happened and she said "princess diana was killed" and i started bawling and she laughed and asked "why are you crying? you don't even know who she is" and i told her "but she was a princess!!"

I still remember waking up that Sunday morning and being struck dumb with that news!. It seemed a totally impossible thing to have happened!. The following week after the Princess's death made me very proud to be British as everywhere you went it showed how collective the British people are in bad times!. One can only hope that Katherine will never have to suffer as Diana did. I still miss her grace and style. Sadly taken far too young. RIP Diana

When Diana died I was only 3 years old so I do not remeber this being broadcated on the TV. What she did for charity showed that she was a caring woman that England and I hope the world has missed, and I hope that the members of the press that followed her rot in hell if they didn't follow her she would still be here today and she would be able to go to her sons wedding. They were jealous of her popularity. Charles married her for monachy's sake. He did love her but not in the way he loved Camilla. diana longed for his love and one of her best friends said, after her death, "The cure to Diana's depression was the love of Charles. She was never going to get that".

I was very young when this happened (about 7 1/2), but I still vaguely remember it. She was a wonderful lady. The pictures of Will and Harry walking beside her coffin, with their letter to "Mum" on top of it, still makes me choke up.

I wasn't really bothered about her when she was alive as just thought of her as an over privileged clothes horse, but when she died I was still shocked. Not sure why. Maybe had just got used to her being around. I thought the royal family took away her Princess of Wales title when she divorced?
