M110 is a great rifle and a good addition to the prototype SCAR-H (battlerifle) and SCAR-L (CQB Rifle). The suppressor isn't the same as the KVSK or high grade suppression and its not an 'anti-material' rifle, but obviously you wouldn't be able to hear it unless you're close by and it has great range up to 1000 m or more. Its a great rifle and can also be used in CQB, the thermal scope especially in desert environments is a big plus and makes scanning for targets easier.

say that hot is represented by white and cold is represented by blue

in that smoke the steel would be colder so itd show up a big blue spot, if it was very warm itd show up as a white flash

How about just recording the actual sound and using that without tweaking it. I've never heard a real silencer/suppressor make the TV show "pew" sound. It's one of the reasons that most folks think that only assassins and poachers use cans on their guns. I use one because it's more pleasant to shoot.

Also, it's obvious that the producers had the sound replaced with the overused and inaccurate movie silencer sound. Listen close to the vid, you'll heard the pitch start high and drop.

This show adds unnecessarily drama and inaccurate representation in an attempt to make it more interesting. Example: trying to make an AR-10 look new and exciting.

It honestly seems like none of you understand what a big deal this is. Its just as accurate as an M24, holds more rounds and has a faster rate of fire. Target reaquisition is minimized after each shot, and its far more modular than an M24.

It seems they always use to small of hand grip on most AR's, or rifles like this one. He looked like he was sliding his hand down to get a better trigger pull. That is what I do with a standard grip. They make it a one size fits all.But at lest they can be changed out easy for a better one. They make some to fit just every hand size now. Now that's progress.

7.62x51 NATO, otherwise known as .308 Winchester, is one of the least expensive rounds available, even premium ammo. Nowhere near as cheap as 5.56 or 7.62x39, however.

And before all you anal types start complaining that 7.62 NATO and .308 aren't exactly the same, I know that. Doesn't stop you from running either one through the same rifle though.

You cant get that because it has an intricate suppressor unless you get a Class 3 tax stamp and the rifle itself will be extremely expencive, but you can get an AR-10 which is chambered in 308/7.62x51 and you can customize it to where it looks just like the one in the video, just without the suppressor.

its the same platform as an m16 but just specced out and in .308 instead of .223 ;) m16 is an assault rifle and this is a sniper so ALOT more precision and this is semi only no full auto feature ;)

The Stock helps a lot more than you think, the interline stock compared to an AK-47 drop stock has more recoil control than the AK-47, with a drop Stock the recoil causes the weapon to climb when fired. I understand about what your saying training wise, I would always prefer a bolt action over a semi-auto, plus I only fire one shot and book it.

A man is only as good as his weaponry. This weapon can place rnds within 4" at 600 to 800 meters, I did not see it fired beyond that. With its rapid fire it can take 5 close targets in 5 sec with one zero of scope, paralax , wind drift, where as my Remington by second shot 3rd or 4th man on dead run can hide or run 20 to thirty yards distance between targets. This sucker CAN still keep enemy at bay with extra rounds in mags RAPID FIRE OR EVEN FOR CLOSE QUARTER 100 YRDS OR LESS.
