I agree that Stallone was never a good actor. Don't agree with Patrice about Scorsese, but see he never saw Raging Bull though. And probably not Taxi Driver. He knows Scorsese for Goodfellas and Cape Fear. James Cameron is in his own entertaining category. The Coens and Paul Thomas Anderson are about quality films and scripts. Scorsese has his own category.

I'll agree that Stallone did do some bombs -- but they just made me want to watch Rambo: First Blood Part II, so they might have failed in their goal.

Stallone is an underrated actor, he is a good actor, but he has done lots of shit so it sets him up for ridicule. And to imply that Rocky and Rambo are basically the same character is wayyy off base, they just don't like stallone. But lots of people don't , he's always entertained me, even his bad movies are good. Him and Arnold are among my favorite actors, no one blows up shit better than those guys.
