I see the old metra electric cars without the cantenary, do u think it can run without the overhead wires?

@Acela4000 In my opinion, based on research, I don't think they can operate without the pantograph and overhead wires. The only way they can operate, is through a locomotive pushing/pulling them. At least that's what I think.
