you can compare her to previous winners of this competition. her voice is one of the most powerful among them. i feel that she did not perform this song well but her voice is still amazing. if you think she shouldnt have won the competition or her voice is boring, then too bad you were not the judge there to eliminate her.

I can't tell exactly what's wrong with her singing, but I just don't expect much of her performance each week. Probably because she kept singing in an invariable manner, in which there is hardly any surprise. BTW, 会唱may be her 特色 but absolutely not the a feature audiences most, if not least desire.

@lovefetish100 If a footballer can play efficiently & superbly in diff positions ie defence, midfield and striker will make him a great versatile player. This great versatility is in fact the 特色 of the player. The capabilities that the footballer has possessed such as great skill and control, sharp heading, run fast etc which make him a versatile player became a process. The same thing happened to Jia Wei . 会唱 and great versatility is her  特色. Jia Wei is indeed one class above the rest.

celine is no doubt a legendary vocalist..

and jess is just an amateur singer in a singing competition(not even a singer yet)

do you have to be so hard on her? or do you think anyone in this competition can sing as well as her? getting almost over 25 in all the songs in different languages?

@kopihse Yup, many people have forgotten that Jia Wei is just an amateur singer in a singing competition and not even a professional yet. I believed she will be even better in future once she joined the industry as the real singer if she have the opportunity.

@kopihse ~Very well said. Jia Wei is just a contestant or better said an amateur and yet she can sing so many types of songs week-in week-out. This is not an easy thing to do. Also, she has to attend University classes in Taiwan thats make her task even harder but she has prevailed. Though she may not be everyone's favorite cup of tea but I believe many who have watched her performances especially the Mandarin songs will definitely give her some praise.

If compared with Celine my conclusion is Jia Wei still have the upper hand in powerful voice. Of course Jia Wei pronounciation is not as sharp as Celine. If yes, her superiority is even more obvious. Can't blame Jia Wei coz she is not english based and she also have to master various language songs as well.

@carkeen You just listened to Jia Wei english song? Have you listened to her mandarin, hokkien, malay song etc. You means all this song not counted? She even can sing opera type of song very well. I've heard that even just sang in short . English song is only part of the songs that she has brought to us in this show. I believed you and many of us has not seen the best of Jia Wei yet.

@carkeen No joking my friend. Many people including myself hv thought that no way a singing contestant can be better than Celine. But after seen Jia wei performance song after song, that has changed my thought completely. It is obvious that she is better than many real artists in the industry now. I believed she still have the upper hand in POWERFUL VOICE compared with Celine . Anyway, Celine is a more experience singer. Jia Wei can learn a lot. from her if have the opportunity.

Hardly we see condemn or criticise comments. Why? If a contestant did not perform well or even perform average will she get this high accolades or honor. Yet you said the judging is bias and she is lucky. You should have a reasons to back up your opinion why yours is different from the masses especially yours is a criticism.

Many of them able to sing high note and high range but it may make your hearing feel suffer, but like what Xiao Ling mention about her voice even power but also make you feel smooth and warm when you hear. is it a good enough answer for you. 特色 didn't mean like Lady Gaga, please bare in mind.
