I have to agree with you BritishBrummie. Their music is captivating. When I saw them open for DKM I thought it was a joke... by the end of the show I went home talking about how amazing their set was not DKM. I keep rewatching all these youtube feeds in amazement.
Anyone who hasn't seen them live needs to you WILL NOT be disappointed!
These guys are the true definition of musical innovation. They don't do this for the money, and they don't just bring the same sound twisted a little bit. They bring a whole new kickass sound and it is FREAKIN AWESOME. Saw them live and I think they stole the show from the band they opened for.
@BritishBrummie well almost. i agree with everything you say except for the original part. its not original. its pure, straight up american folk music is what it is. its just that you almost never see people playing american folk music anymore now that "country" has taken over. i love these guys.
Saw them in Little Rock last night. I lived in Asheville for 4 years and never saw them downtown! Bummer.
