change bouncing or panels rattling is no great feat for any sub system.  when panels flex you lose spl and just annoy people around you. dynamat will fix that. also the person who left the comment about getting a battery is right. you can see the voltage drop 2-3 volts on your caps because your electrical system cannot keep up. but other than that it is a sweet system. for batteries i recomend kinetic power cells.

You are an idiot... plain and simple. Firstly, JBL aren't the greatest subs, I would put them on par with brands like Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony etc. Secondly, these subs cant handle 1200W, that's just the peak power handling rating. So they can handle that power but only at peak, so maybe on a large bass hit or something, but what you actually have to look at is the RMS rating, that is the actual rating, and these are only rated at around 300WRMS. Thirdly, one of these subs alone will not hit 140dB

I don't think you really know as much as you think. If you knew anything about peak and rms ratings, you would not have mentioned the peak ratings. Secondly, why would you bother with those Pioneer 5 way speakers? Youll get the same quality sound and possibly even louder from 2 ways.

Also.. wtf is monster cabling? Do you know what gauge it is? Personally, "monster cabling" means stuff all. Now, about the cap, you say your charging system is crap? You should have saved the money that you spent on that cap and put it towards a bigger alternator and battery. I also hope you have good wiring, including 0 gauge ground from battery to chassis. That would have been money far better spent than on a capacitor.

rockford amps can handle so much more than those speakers. that amp is laughin right now. if rf says 500w it really means 1300. but it will only reach that type of power with real subs, not these 1300w's that rms at around 300. get a real sub thats hittin rms values of about 1500 to 2500 then if your lucky you might make it over 152db's

Agreed. It's pointless mentioning the wattage of your subs anyway, cos that only tells us the maximum wattage they can handle. Any more than that over a period of time and they die. I don't care if your sub is 10,000 WRMS, that means shit, what counts is how much juice you are feeding it. 300 WRMS per sub can be loud, but if you want really loud you'd probably want more, depending how many subs you have going. I'm talking about one sub.

if the amps are pushing more then 1000 watts to each woofer you will need 1.5 farad atleast.. and since those are rockford amps... a 1000 mono block is really much much higher.... you should get 2 1.5 farad capacitor or add another 1 farad cap. Oh yeh... throw those woofers out and get Rockford HE's or some solobarics!
