Pert has had so much influence on musicians, that he's better by the fault. Korn is Industrial(I recommend you go listen to Make Believe by them), and have preformed like 4 Rap Metal songs with some rap artists that were on their album. And I'm in 2 bands, one of them is 1 part Metal(and some rock), and one part Underground Hiphop(and 1 part electronic). And Korn is Alternative Nu-Metal. Go listen to Ball Tongue by Korn as well.

Joey Jordison, in my personal opinion isnt a massively great drummer,

At least not for Korn, he is fast, messy, high tempo, which suits slipknot.

David Silveria and Ray Luzier have quite similar style.

Technically brilliant and absolutely tank behind the kit.

When i heard about joey coming into korn i thought he would kill them live,

jon and munk and fieldy had to speed up to match joey which killed their live vibe.

@joshsutt davids an average drummer..the level of knowledge atleast ray obtains is fairly substantial which fits good for korn and there fairly heavy n slow style of power and off timings..what i really think puts some drummers on other levels is when drummers dont sound like they are playing beats.actually full on melodic parts that fit with the rest of the song..which danny carey does quite swelly..and i know it seems impossible (a melody on a kit?) but thats just the best way i can put it

I listened to Korn since way back in the day, in fact, it was one of the first Metal bands I got into. I'm 23 now.
