Magicarp is awesome,give it a focus sash,teach it flail,level it up to a high level,it beats Red the trainer. Pokemon aren't weak,only a trainer is. And just so you know Magicarp evolves into a strong Pokemon Kakuna and Metapod too. If you train them from a Weedle and Caterpie,they'l know tackle.
