C.S. Sucks. I live her now, 2011 and in 11 months there has been 28 Homicides. Not to mention other crimes. This town is a one horse dead end. The only reason it is on the map is due to the military bases and the AF Academy, if not for that then it would be another Pueblo. Nothing to do here. The Denver Zoo is cheaper and bigger. One highway for a not so small town. The weather is bipolar like the people. More churches and liquor stores than the "south". RUN....HIDE.... NEVER COME HERE!!!!!

lol ive lived in colorado springs for 16 years and yes, it does snow. this wonter, not too much but its normal to get a snow shower that can dump up to 4 feet of snow in a day. its just really cold so if it snows once, that snow is on the ground till spring

it all depends, do you like snow? do you want to live in the mountains, in a farming community, or the city?...its a lot different out here! but if ya tell me what you want from living out here, i could probably recommend somewhere good!
i want to be able to see the beautiful mountains. Not much of a city person, i like the country but like to visit the city sometimes. Like kinda warm weather but cooler weather is fine with snow. Love wildlife and outside. Also like to go site seeing.
well i would definitely recommend colorado springs then. you can see the mountains from anywhere, and with a 30 minute drive be in the complete middle of nowhere in huge grasslands. however, the warm weather is not in great supply...the average winter temp is about 20 degrees but dont be shocked when it drops to minus 10! and its not just light snow...some days you wont be able to get your TRUCK out of your driveway. but its pretty cool here...you definitely want a 4X4!

well its not really a small town, although it is compared to cities like los angeles. but really there isnt a hood here. just like all cities, we have parts that are not as good as others, but theres a low crime rate and i dont really hear about bad crimes. as for jobs, it a lot of military: my mom is air force and my dad communtes between colorado springs and the pentagon in d.c. we also have mostly computer technology jobs like computer engineering. these and some military have very good pay.
i dont know what part of colorado springs this person lives in, but there really arent that many blacks. my school has over 1300 kids and only about 75 blacks. however, we have many people of mexican descent. in a decade, whites will most ikely be the minority. but none-the-less, it is a very beautiful place to live if you dont mind the cold winters!

i agree, we are overrun with christians. the christian religion is ok and i have full respect for it even though im not christian, but there are a few organizations who try to force their religion on other people (new life) and have no idea of the true meaning of religion. but other than that, this is a beautiful place to live!

lol ive lived in colorado springs for 16 years and yes, it does snow. this wonter, not too much but its normal to get a snow shower that can dump up to 4 feet of snow in a day. its just really cold so if it snows once, that snow is on the ground till spring
