  • absoultul splendid m8s :} from new zealand

  • Love live her majesty.

  • gotta love the aussies

  • barvo :]

  • 1. Thats not the Queensland flag, thats the Queensland Governors flag. 2. Why didnt you put Northern Territory or ACT Up there? Just because it didnt have your little pathetic union jack on it?

  • @TheSmithersy The UK dont control us. Australia Act 1984 <3

  • @owen82100: I wasn't talking about the Commonwealth Realms. I was referring to the British Overseas Territories. I see where you thought I was coming from though.

  • Don't let Britain lose her colonies. God bless Australia! God save the Queen! Mabuhay from the Philippines!

  • @paolocabling Australia is not a colony. In 1901 the colonies making up Australia and Tasmania federated in the Commonwealth of Australia. Independent from 3 Sept 1939 (pedants, please ignore 1942 and 1986).

  • @paolocabling: Australia is no longer a British colony, however the UK does still control 16 countries.

  • @James100995 It is royal anthem!

  • I thnik all Commonwealth relems and Great Britian should rename her position The Queen of the Commonweath

  • I don't believe we should have a royal anthem. She's not my queen - she's not an Australian. The day we (finally) got our own national anthem I was as pleased as punch.

  • @BlossomFlowerGirl can i ask you a question? do you love your country? are you proud to stand up straight when the national anthem is played. then ask your self this, would you be allowed to say your free speech if a dictatorship or comunist nation discovered australia, would australia be wealthy, free and democratic? before ya rip our queen off, remember she is... thru history, what we can have and be lucky our life of freedom speech. and god knows, she has always bin with our commonwealth!

  • It's only the union jack when flown from a boat, otherwise it's the union flag

  • Comment removed

  • @oxoxHollie u stupid bitch

  • @campbelllovescock chill out! the whole point of this video is for people who like the monarchy.

  • I like her. I am half Thai-Australian. :)

    Long live Commonwealth family

  • salve a rainha

  • god bless australia. long live the queen, our queen and yours. greetings from scotland and the uk

  • we brits will always help out our bretheren in australia, canada, new zealand,

  • hope our friends in aussie keep the queen as head of state,.its a tried and long tested position here in u.k.and seems to work well..

im a little suprised your p.m. who is a welsh-australian indicates her wishes to go republic...

  • @ukyorkie1 Perhaps you need to live here to understand, many Australians would love for out country to become a republic, to be a republic is to be free if you didnt know we started as a colony of convicts so our ancestors were the prisoners, and we have grown feeling that way, im guessing each country in the monarchy has a different perspective.

  • @ukyorkie1 our p.m wishes to do that because shes a communist bitch!!!

  • @ukyorkie1 This happend last time in the past, but we voted against it NO! aussie want's to be a republic. Our bitch of a prime minister just want's to destroy us because i said before, Australia is on a verge of civil war

  • @ukyorkie1 Don't worry we will, our prime minister won't last well i hope not. Us Aussies don't wan't to be a republic. At least i don't

  • @silenthunter40 I do.

  • Woahhh...so even though the world knows the reigning monarch as the king/queen of England, in Australia it's the King/Queen of Australia ... cool! Do other commonwealth nations do that?

  • @Chavezoid all do it :)

  • @Chavezoid Iunno maybe, but she is on our money, and as soon as her feet hit Australian soil, all her other titles go out the window and she is known as the Queen of Australia, even by her own staffers.

  • @Chavezoid She isn't the Queen of England lol. She's the Queen of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

  • @curt : You're correct of course. Strictly speaking there hasn't been a Queen (or King) "of England" since the union of England with Scotland in 1707. But, like it or not, many people around the world (especially those outside of the Queen's dominions) persist in referring to her as "the Queen of England".

  • @johstaat I know they do John, and I hate it when they do that. I also hate it when Americans talk about the 'English government'.........there's no such thing as the English government!!! lol!! There hasn't been such a thing as an independent English government, since Henry VIII passed the 'Laws in Wales Acts' of 1535 and 1542, which brought about the annexation of Wales and it's union with England.

  • @curt : You're correct of course. Strictly speaking there hasn't been a Queen (or King) "of England" since the union of England with Scotland in 1707. But, like it or not, many people around the world (especially those outside of the Queen's dominions) persist in referring to her as "the Queen of England".

  • @Chavezoid Only the Commonwealth Realms. She is head of state/Queen of 16 independent states, the UK being one of them, the other are Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc

  • @Chavezoid : Yes they do. The Queen's official title is defined by a separate law in each of her realms. The Australian Parliament has enacted a law stating what her official title is in Australia, as has the Parliament of each of the other Commonwealth realms (countries of which the Queen is head of state) in respect of the that particular territory. If you're interested search "List of titles and honours of Queen Elizabeth II" in wikipedia.

  • nice

  • Greetings from San Francisco

  • the Aussie version is catchy

  • @Leekduck Lol this hasnt been our national anthem in a long long time.

  • @James100995 yeah but It's still the 'Royal Anthem'

  • Australia Forever!!

Every time britian has had to tackle evil and tyranny, we've done so knowing that Australians stood by Britain's shoulder time and time again over the last century and more..

Your Loyalty Will Never Be Forgotten.

    Best wishes from Scotland.

  • as long I've got an hole in my arse as an Englishman, if any one wants to fuck with Australia,....you fuck with me....

  • May God preserve the monarchy that keeps this Commonwealth unified, the disillusioned Republicans will never quite understand how much the monarchy means to most people and will constantly try their best to take away the one thing that truly personifies and unifies the people; Republics rise and fall and Monarchy's last a lifetime.

    Rule Britannia and GSTQ.

  • May she rule over us...

  • @thegclique you subservient fool

  • @thegclique Reign, not rule dude.... BIG difference.

She serves the people of the commonwealth, we do not serve her.

  • @pekingduck123456 Again i point out they are UNELECTED.

They have been given no mandate by the people to be head of state,if the brits ALL love the royals so much then why not vote on it?I mean think of it ,,charles as unelected king,,when the country clearly cannot stand him.All im saying is that they get peoples tax money so people should be allowed to have a say in whether they should be head of state. And if they vote for them fair enough,,but if they dont then good riddance

  • @PATRICKEIRE The difference between your idea of a monarch and that of England is that England is a constitutional monarchy. The Queen is forever controlled by the people and should the people decide they don't want a queen or king anymore they can simply vote, as you've said. Eitherway it makes no difference who is King or Queen, it's mostly a figurehead position that awards deserving people and promotes charity and public morals. I don't have a problem with any of that.

  • @PATRICKEIRE don't be silly. you don't vote for your parents do you - maybe in some awful republican nervana you do. do you really think having a president will improve anything?

  • @pekingduck123456 But again the fact that the so called royals are not elected into office seems to be glossed over,my point is that at least with politicans they can be kicked out at the next election,,these royals are born into a powerfull position to which they have done nothing to earn that position, and also there so called civil list of unelected peers who claim millions,,again all those ideals are belong to a 100 years ago to there so called empire,,and look at the trouble that caused.

  • I think it is fantastic that the commonwealth countries call the queen 'their sovreign'. Yes she is British but that does not change the fact that she is also the queen of those nations and as such it is Canada's and Australia's right to refer to her as 'their' queen just as much as the British do. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

  • this anthem is of French origin .... Grand Dieu sauve le roy

  • Bring back God Save the Queen, I hate our current national anthem.

  • @demonicx7 i agree bring back God save the Queen. people dont care about advance australia fair.

  • Wish this was played in the USA like it should be. Elizabeth is our queen also--for those of us that have British roots. My ancestors came to America in the 1830's from Wales.

  • how can a well educated people have those inbred bigoted raceist people as there head of state??these so called royals are nothing more than backward thinking landgrabbers who seem to think that people were put here to serve them??

They are born into a life of unearned wealth,,and they still are living of the tax payers?

For all the mistakes in a republic at least after 5 years you can vote ur leaders out ,,and look who is next,,PRINCE CHARLES...now that will be funny.

  • @PATRICKEIRE

You obviously don't understand the constitutional monarchy system, nor the royal family. Well, yes, historically there was a degree of inbreeding, but only slightly more so than was common among the general population (people didn't move very often, and populations were small). They are neither racist nor bigotted, and the whole idea of the Coronation oath, is that the monarch swears to serve the people, so no, we are not here to serve her, she is here to serve us.

  • @Falwren my point is that they are unelected and leech of the tax payers,,and yes they are bigots,,are they allowed to marry anyone who isnt a prodestant?NO,,and u really cannot tell me that they are not racist,,,i mean how many gaffs from charles and edward and co do u need before u cop onto that fact,,look these people offer nothing other than they expect a life of privilage that they dont earn or deserve,,the millions they and the civil list waste could be put to better use,,

  • @PATRICKEIRE

Well, the only marrying a protestant part isn't entirely fair in today's world yes, but it was established to prevent another King James II in the 17th century, and the monarch currently is defender of the Anglican faith. I know it isn't exactly perfect, but how about Spain? It's the exact opposite, since the monarch there is essentially required to be Catholic.

I've personally met Edward, and he was extremely respectful and tolerant of everyone, so that's complete crap.

  • @PATRICKEIRE

In terms of this so called civil waste, it only amounts to about $1.63 per capita per year (or 1 pound in sterling) for each country, and they bring in millions in tourism, most of which is used towards important charities. So in fact, they make more money than they require. It's wrong to say they don't earn or deserve, since at least Her Majesty has dedicated her life to service through charities, diplomacy, and promoting human rights and democracy.

  • it is only the union jack if flown from a ship! :)

  • Perfect Australian sovereign!

  • The "Union Jack" isn't called the union jack unless it is being flown from a mast or a boat otherwise it is the Union Flag

  • @rugbygirl247 It's a nickname

  • Please don't ever leave us Australia. Would break my heart.

    No to republic.

  • God Save the Queen. She is giving a long weekend this week.

  • GOD BLESS OUR QUEEN!!!

  • I don't know about the last year, but I do know that in the decade that has just gone, over 75% of immigration in the United Kingdom has been from non-White, nations. We are slowly taking over, especially since white british couples have just 4 kids on average. lol. are your women baron or something?

Things will get even more advantegous for us if liberal get in. immigration will rise even more. this is payback time for the rich whites who enslaved us.

white women and men are finished soon

  • Our Beloved Queen is 84 years of age today - a lifetime of sacrifice to the British Race all over the English speaking world.

  • The Crown has given us in the Commonwealth so much stability a first class system of governance and of Justice. To degrade the Throne is just not the Aussie way to our best interests nor the certainty for the childrens future quality of life. Long may our Queen reign over my native homeland of Australia.

  • Scotts here, I never knew the queen of Austraila was a diffrent position then the Queen on England, Scotland etc.

So when you say Queen of Austraila you do not recognise her as the Queen of the UK. I think thats a very proud and right way to view her.

  • @deskpot1

I am from fife, where in scotland are you from?

  • the day we lose our Monarchy is the day we lose our freedom, the monarch reassures his people that a functional government carries on and protect its people for the personal greed of politician, the monarchy is the check and balance of the state, the monarch can and will remove a PM that is a self-serving politician or incompetent

    God Save the Queen!!!

    greetings from Canada

  • @jwpampi but who removes the unelected corrupt monarch?politcians are elected and can be removed,,the so called royals do what they like and know they can get away with it.

  • @PATRICKEIRE

Ever heard of Charles I? He was corrupt, and tyrannical, and so he was decapitated in 1649. Ever since the glorious revolution with King William III, no monarch is allowed to do what they want and get away with it.

  • @PATRICKEIRE thats why we a constitutional monarchy, a limited power monarch, politician can be remove, but who will remove them? the supreme court? the court is filled with judges that is appointed by the politician, and look at all the republics in poor countries the only way to remove the corrupt president is by blood of its people... in here its just a signiture from the monarch... and all people are corrupt given its nature...you just have to limit it

  • @jwpampi what a load of shit, Canada cant elect a Canadian as head of state and you call that freedom?

  • @jwpampi Couldn't agree with you more! Greetings from New Zealand, as a British ex-pat.

  • @jwpampi The only problem with a Monarchy is what if you have a ruler who is corrupt and tyrannical. It makes much more sense to have a republic, and elected officials. And as in America The President, may only serve 8 years then they move on to the next one, sure there are many horrible leaders along the way, but America has held the same type of government for over 200 years. And Britain has really given full power to Parliament, the queen has no real power, she is a symbol and that is all.

  • @jwpampi Look not every Country is like the Untied States if Australia was to become a Republic we would still function the same way. Now days Monarchy is a title it serves no function the royals have no control all becoming a republic would do is remove all the fancy shmancy Ceremonies, Australia, New Zealand And Canada can function as a republic.

  • @chufuss Its just a ceremonial post, she dosnt rule our country. Its our tradition, just like your country has traditions.

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

  • "Republic means the highest level of freedom?" Boy that is a laugh. People that really understand how a constitutional monarchy functions will understand that it is MUCH more of a "democracy" than lets say like the USA? You think Americans have more "freedoms" than Britons, Canadians or Australians? Nope. Have you not heard about the right wing agenda in Texas forcing the schools to take the word "democracy" out of the description for the USA? Hmmmmm.

  • Good video. Cheers!

  • I am an American by birth; but Canadian French & Scottish by blood. I have 12 more years to suffer American ignorance before I can uproot & move to Canada. Then, with my money in hand, I will vote with my feet. I would rather pay higher taxes in Canada; than be a part of a farce called the United States. Let their bloated, rotund children crawl for more McDonalds fries; I have better things to do than witness their suicides. Canada is a great country, with a great Queen...I am ok with that.

  • Maybe u shld start putting on a British accent ?

  • You are joking aren't you? Most probably a Republic will give you the highest level of chaos.

  • @balancedaustralia i do agree

  • Name one republic in the world that works........

  • @Tennessee44444

All the American's I know believe America is a corporate entity controlled by a Jewish agenda boardroom.

We have more freedoms here than America does, that is why many Americans are leaving The USA & moving to Australia, New Zealand & Canada.

  • @GodBotherer1 The Americans you know are obviously idiots, and you are an ignorant anti-Semite.

  • It would cost them too much to do that and who would want to get rid of one of the most historical and best form of government in exchange for something that rarely works well

  • @Tennessee44444

Are you aware that the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were republics?

  • @Tennessee44444 - USSR stood for Union of Socialist Soviet Republics,North Korea is a Republic, Vietnam is a Republic, Cuba is a Republic. China is the People's Republic of China...

  • @Tennessee44444 No they don't. East Germany and Apartheid South Africa were republics.

  • @Tennessee44444 Yeah like the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, Peoples Republic of China, Islamic Republic of Iran.....

Even the United States hasn't perfected the concept. Freedom to not have choice or access to a decent healthcare system and the Patriot Act.

Australia is a Constitutional Monarchy. We have our own Constitution protecting our own rights and full independence. We happen to just be a member of the Commonwealth - of which the Queen is the head of state.

  • @gnarkillkicksass You know your PM wants to ditch the monarchy and become a republic, right?

She makes me ashamed to be Welsh.

I think a referendum of the monarchy in Oz happened in the 80s, and failed. I don't think people are as patriotic in that regard these days, perhaps Oz will ditch its monarchy this time.

  • @DavieS993 The referendum was in 2000 I think and it was knocked back pretty heavily. Here the Labor party will probably get voted out on Saturdays election (fingers crossed)! They are trying to impose republic when the polls show very clearly Australia does not want one. Nothing wrong with being Welsh mate, just a shame about that bitch - you know she was previously the head of the Australian Socialist Forum?

  • @gnarkillkicksass That's cool. To be honest I am quite suprised the Aussies and other British commonwealth countries still kept their British roots, I mean jeez we were pretty evil back then.

Good thing Oz dosen't want a Republic, it worked so well for the peoples Republic of China Islamic Republic etc etc.

    She was? wow. lol

  • @DavieS993

Arrgh. You weren't all that evil back then actually, as many of us Commonwealth countries agree. I see however that you have been subscribing to the ever prominent American view of history though, eh?

  • @Tennessee44444 actually if you check the democracy index, parliamentarianism covers 14 out of the top 16 countries, Australia and Canada fight for 3rd and 4th place every year. America is ranked 19th (so much for leading the "free world" eh?)

  • is this still the anthem for australia?

  • I wish it still was.

Our current national anthem sounds like it was written by a boy-band.

  • The national party still have God save the Queen at party meetings, and it's still the royal anthen of Oz when the Queen comes out, and I think when the G-G is at formal gatherings

  • @girlsaloud000

it's the royal anthem... but funnily enough... the older people would know this and not our national anthem.

  • Aussie cannot yet be independent though it is 21st century... lol

  • Don't come wanking on about independence.

People like you want "independence" but you want to be part of an open-border world union.

Going by your screen name, you probably can't wait for the Asia-Pacific Union, open borders & more slope heads making us a province of China.... So, when you leave home, you will never speak to your parents again, or have them come around to babysit their grandchildren, after all, you want independence..... right?

  • you are right God botherer, absolutely

  • shut up dickhead! It;s the only link to our history and racial character left

  • haha...for all you people who think that the queen of australia and the queen of england are 2 different people let me lay this upon you...haven't you ever noticed she has a british accent????

  • and the rest of the world think Aussies have a regional british accent, and they are right

  • British accent?

    Don't be a wanker!

Your accent is rather linked to the Cockney accent, which is one of the silly ones on earth.

That's why your miserable country is not yet be independent! lol

  • @SAMURAISWORD1000

cockney?? we don't sound like them at all ...linguists say our accent is from SOUTHERN ENGLAND...

  • Cockney is from (East) London. London IS in Southern England, you nob. But besides that, why would we want Australia to be independent anyway? Long live the commonwealth!

...And if we go back far enough, ALL accents of the English language (well, all 'national/regional accents' anyway, not immigrants' accents) are, in essence, regional British accents anyway...

  • @sabradan

yes but not cockney, and not that part of southern england so i am told.

and yes i agree, we should be with the commonwealth forever, who the eff would want to be apart of a republic looking at the US?

and yeah pretty much, english was just the one accent, and we've deviated from there.

  • Essex and London, incuding the East End. Cockney is actually born between the bow bells

  • @jepjep92

HAHAHAHAHA! thats a joke right? my bloody ruddy bog is more posh than yeh bloody ruddy aussie bastards! let me guess, those linguists were either: canadian, septics, froggys, aussies or a bunch of bloody fucking daft cunts! LOL hahaha that made my day! aussies sounding like that of a southern britton! LOL

  • @matthewthecoolkid

so says an american... right.. you do real know where BRITAIN is? not "britton"? and secondly do you know where canada is? just wondering? Because it doesn't take a linguist to realise where the australian accent comes from... who the hell colonised australia? where are the ports that led to australia from the UK? Where's Portsmouth? London? they are all in SOUTHERN BRITAIN!

  • hahaha you think im a bloody septic!!! your full of jokes aren't yeh? Yeh fucking gormless, daft, idiotic, arrogant, ignorant, bloody fucking CUNT!! I know where bloody fucking portsmouth and london are yeh bloody fucking divvy cunt! so maybe next time you should not resort to using bloody fucking false accusations!

  • @matthewthecoolkid

well you don't seem to know about the world. Do you actually think i am personally offended by you calling me 'yeh fucking gormless, daft, idiotic, arrogant etc.', considering you don't even know half of what you talk about, nor spell most of it, and you can't even spell Britain! you're just a loser looking for attention

  • a loser looking for attention eh? what did i spell wrong yeh daft cunt? tell me!

  • Comment removed

  • sorry, I forgot to mention that when your a British citizen from Great Britain the correct way to spell it and the correct term is Briton :)

  • @matthewthecoolkid

i do know that, how ever you spelt it with a double 't', hence it's incorrect. Also it's 'you're', not 'your' a British citizen. and Plus.. i am a British citizen as well as an Australian citizen :)

  • @JepJep92

well then i apologize for my rudeness,

because now i know that it's not your

fault! Your an Aussie, so it's in your blood

    to be a total wanker!

  • @weedmanify

oh yup, i'm British born. Maybe you should ask facts before you presume 'wankerish' stuff.

  • White Anglo Aussues are descemded from the most base born Londoner.

  • Still English though. I admit we've ruined the language but that's life

  • @ alanbstard

the fucking Aussies sound nothing like us...they sound like a bunch of bloody ponces! never again compare me to an Aussie!

  • HA! I'm afraid the Aussie acent is a regional British accent. So is NZ and they are worse than us

  • im afraid not...the aussie's sound like a bunch of daft wankers with a dildo stuck up their arse when they speak...it's truly embarrassing and insulting for you to even to link our 2 accents together nowadays.......maybe 100 years ago it would be understandable but now days it's just insulting!

  • omg the australian national anthem is almost the same as ours and they have the same royal family :O australia is cool :)

  • @youvegotmoobs That's not our national anthem.......Our's is Advanced Australia Fair

  • @youvegotmoobs: This is not the *national* anthem of Australia. It is the *royal* anthem of Australia. There's a difference. The national anthem is Advance Australia Fair. The royal anthem is God Save the Queen.

  • @youvegotmoobs this is not our national anthem.....ours is "ADVANCE AUSTRALIA FAIR"

we haven't sung "god save the queen" for nearly 40 years.... we grew up a little.

there is nothing cool about having your national anthem as ours, it sucked for us.... she's your queen...not ours... nobody here (except ver, very, very conservative ppl over the age of 65) claims the queen as theirs...

we can't wait until we remove your flag off ours either.

    (i'm asuming your in england)

  • @shanodude God save the queen isnt just a british national anthem, it's also the anthem of the commonwealth realms which australia is a part of. And the union jack on the aussie flag just represents australia's heritage seeing that australia was a former british colony.

  • @shanodude

I am an Australian, im 19 and i claim the Queen as my own, 'God Save The Queen' is the official ROYAL ANTHEM in Australia. The Queen is the Commander In Chief of the Defence Force and Captain General of the Royal Australian Artillery. There are more Monarchists in Australia then there are Republicans - and 'God Save the Queen' is still sung at the start of Australian Military Mess Dinners (Regimental Dinners).

  • @nford24

    Stand True, Australia!!!

  • @shanodude Your speaking for yourself not the whole of Australia. Im 18 and and i claim the Queen of Australia as our Queen because she is, until more nitwits come along and ruin a good thing.

  • @AusPolitico

    Stand True, Australia!!!

  • @shanodude tbh mate iv grown up a bit since my last comment was made and after serving in the armed forces the queen can go fuck herself in the nicest possible way and i no longer give a fuck what yours mine or anybody else's national anthem is

    all the best

  • God save the Queen of Australia!!

  • the Victorian Flag is blue not yellow

  • These are royal flags, the ones used by the Governors. There will be another video with the civilian flags.

  • OK thanks

  • @irishgodfatherchris These are the royal state flags, not the state flags.

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

  • @RoyalistUK

    God shave the queen

  • @Bastiii1990 we won the war bitch

  • @Bastiii1990 One world cup and two world wars, doo-dah, doo-dah. One world cup and two world wars doo-dah doo-dah day.

  • @jacksawild

    THREE WORLD CUPS

    THREE EUROPEAN CUPS

  • Comment removed

  • "God save the queen"

    im English.

  • Elizabeth of Australia, Queen of Australia too.

  • English.

  • @matthewthecoolkid

God Save the Queen is the royal anthem of Australia. And the Queen is Queen of Australia!

  • @JepJep92

actually shes the queen of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Common Wealth Realms and Australia is a common wealth realm...so no technically shes is not your queen but i guess we can share lol

  • your a fool, her title is queen of australia
