@Skychik0ed alot of guns there are cheat codes you can use to get them the solar gun you get by beating all the bosses with tranq guns and then on the beuty finding secret statues, once you have all the statues you get the solar gun at the end and making a new game plus(i think)

@Hannaman88 play solid normal or harder and it gives you a multiplier for your drebin points. also, if you open a finished file it gives you the option to play again but with your new unlocks. Also, your DP sticks with you from your last game. Look around, try to find all the hidden weapons dotted around and all that stuff.

the easy way to get it is by playing in liquid easy mode and crawl most of the time, if u manage to do it with no alerts and no kills u get the 2 items, also use face camo, and only use lethal weapons on the bosses, when the bosses take their suits off use non lethal weapons

It's not that hard. Just save frequently and if you get discovered exit to the main menu and restart that part. Also do it on Liquid Easy. I think it took me 5 hours to do but my game time was only about 3 hours.

I think it is filed under special items, which you may not use in order to get big boss ranking. Everyone has their own methods I guess, but the trank gun is your best friend when getting top rank. Its easy to get the second time around.

for the solar gun play through for ACT1 no the rat patrol kills dont count so you dont have to worry about that, i would prefer the mk.23 non lethal gun because it shoots fast with no delay and it has a quick reloading time, i wouldnt use the mosin nagant because its the complete opposite, it has a time delay for shooting and the reloading time is a complete bitch. when you get to the end of the building scene and endup in the parking lot look to one of the corners you will find the frog statue.

also don't forget the Shotguns have vortex rings, at long distances they can take out more than 3 people clustered together (only if your not too far away)

yeah, after beating the game go to the extra's tab on the main menu then click passwords. (then after you do that look up some mgs4 passwords on the internet and it will save the weapon info to your profile so every time you get to the mk II even on a new game you will have the password items.

if you beat the boss extreme mode under 5 hours with no alerts, no kills, and no special items used, you get the patriot and some other cool guns like evas gun, liquids gun, and naked snakes gun from mgs3.

MGS4 Patriot does have infinite ammo, even though he's probably using the bandanna for all guns to have unlimited ammo, the Patriot still has infinite ammo without it.

I try and use the tanegashima and most of the time it never does the tornado...it just hits them like a normal round. Where is this "special" place that the round is meant to land?
