  • hi i see u have the same tv as me what is the setting for cable i cant get servise from my box to tv and its weird

  • Press the Power button for like 4 seconds

  • I have the 46" of the same model and it actually turned on and off repeatedly without even getting a picture the first time I plugged it in. I had to unplug it and ever since it's been running perfectly for 3 years now. Never had that buzzing noise though.

  • Samsung LN46A750R1FXZA 2008-Best Buy- $3000. 2010-trouble starting then just clicked on and off. Samsung took no responsibility. We replaced 4 capacitors. It began working. 6 months later, the screen began showing areas of darkness and double images. July 2011-began not turning on at all. Samsung replaced capacitors, though they looked fine- no charge.Did not solve the problem. Replaced the main board. Now it tries to start, but keeps turning itself on and off. No picture. Shame on you, Samsung!

  • @2bywoodside this is crazy....a $2-3,000k tv....

  • well i have a similar problem and that is ma tv reboots again and again for more than like 2 hours and it really sucks does anybody know what could be the problem plz do let me know thanx

  • It may be more than the capacitors. I just had the motherboard replaced in order to stop this problem. $220 and Samsung pays nothing. I have joined a class action law suit in Tulsa Oklahoma and strongly advise anyone having this problem to do it too. It is the motherboard too! see my you tube video nvdwarriorLTC on this problem.

  • same shyt here hit me up if u now the solution

  • @gio456ify Bad capacitors on the Power Supply Board

  • It turns itself off because it hates the shity movies you watch

  • It's the Capacitors..only cost about $1each to replace them yourself. Save yourself money and do it yourself. I did, and my Plasma's just like new again :)

  • @gamer082009 Well, nice to know that it has a "simple" solution. However, if you have warranty on the product, you might want to avoid doing things yourself as it may void your warranty. The problem is with Samsung's warranty support, and you don't have to pay anything to get the warranty support.

  • @mainbhi0000

Of course, I'd definitely try Samsung support first to see if they will warranty if first. But as a last resort, it would be wise to do it yourself IF you can't get them to fix it.

  • damn mine is doing the same shit like you know i set my thing to full screen without the black bar well when this happens it show the black bar and you can't change the channel or do anything

  • 10,000 Complaints about samsung tvs on theCONSUMER AFFAIRS site.

All other brand tvs have less than 1,000 complaints.

Doesn't that tell you something ?

    DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

  • How do I turn that annoying sound of my LN52A650 off that sounds each time I turn on and off the tv? that loud annoying sound?

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !

  • those guys at best buy really promote samsung they act like they do not know about this problem my samsung a750 40 inch shut off with in the first week i took it back and got another one. it did the same thing with in 24 hours so i got a refund on it. and waited a while to get a new tv

  • Hi, my Samsung TV have the same problem. The costomer service in Hong Kong didn't reply my repair request at first. I called them in different way and finally they gave service. But the problem not fix after the 5th repair service. No one can tell me what's wrong with it. They just replace the suspected parts. My warranty coming to the end. I think Samsung is waiting that day and they will tell me "I'm sorry, dear customer, your warranty expired."

  • Mine is doing it too. Please contact me and let me know what you did to fix it..And maybe we can attack this with strength in numbers.....

  • @kkkels Well, guys, after much effort I was able to get SAMSUNG take care of the problem. Still had to let the service center take the TV away for over a week. They had to replace the main board to fix the issue. Wish Samsung arranges for in-home service for such known issues but you have to accept whatever it take to get your $2K+ TV working again! I do have an extended service plan just to be on the safe side.

  • Warning don't buy this junk. The tv burns out the same time the warranty expires and samsung could care less.
