Jeb sounds just like Roy Mercer lol, I used to listen to this on 45 when I was a kid... it brings back a lot of good memories, too bad I cant play it backwards, I remember spinning the record backwards when she said your ball will soar and soar and soar haha thank you so much for posting it !
When I was about 7 my Uncle Gene had this 45 that he played on an upside-down record player in his 65 Chevy. He'd never let me and my brothers listen to it. In August I reconnected with that part of the family after almost 40 years and asked him about it. He sent me this link and said I'm probably old enough to listen to it now! It's amazing what we remember from when we were kids. Thanks for adding to my memory!
I don't know if this will get me in any legal trouble but, I can e-mail the MP3 to anyone that wants it. Just send your e-mail addresses to: mantas68@yahoo.com .
Omg...this is incredible! My dad used to have the 45 and we would listen to it a lot. Unfortuantely my father passed away 4 years ago, and I haven't heard this since. thanks for bringing it back! :)
Cousin Easy has left us. Over the past couple of years, I have shared with her the wonderful comments her fans have had to say about her. She always loved the fact that she and Jeb could still put a smile on people's faces. I thought her fans would like to see a video of her life with her music. I have posted it on Lagniappe50; In Loving Memory of Cousin Easy. Please continue to enjoy her performances.
Wow! Thanks for sending it to her. I had now idea she was even still around.
I'm from Central Indiana. I'm a sucker for risque country comedy like this. It always cracks me up way more than someone yelling F-bombs into a microphone - LOL. :)
Hi, Yes Cousin Easy is still around; she is my Aunt Virginia. And she loves hearing that she and my uncle can still make people laugh. My favorite memories include her and Jeb, who I knew as Uncle Cal, performing for us at my grandmother's home. Uncle Cal was a great magician too. She still strums on her bass once in awhile and tells me great stories of being on the road. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed her work.
You hold your club with both hands. ...I have the 45. I got it from my dad.Back in the day. I will never forget it. Cant believe it on the tube. Thanks!
This is the best I've ever had as far as laughs :)
