This is a truly remarkable man. I got to spend ten or fifteen minutes with him backstage the second time I saw him, and he's really a genuine guy. I'll never forget the first time, he was promoting Return to Struggleville, and he would pick up a knife before each song, waving it around for the whole song, then stick it into a stump. then he would pick up another, try to sell it to us, then do his song, waving it all around his head and close to his chest. It was nerve-racking! So many kudos...
Dan Smith (and everyone involved in Listener by extension) knocked me for six. the first time (and every time) i listen to Wooden Heart i get goosebumps, the passion he speaks with is infectious and inspiring, i am very grateful he makes music and that i can listen to it and learn from it. Thankyou.
he looks like and reminds me of tom delonge in the first date music video. idk if that's good or not.... I think it's not...

I really like when talks about how he rights his song and how he really strives for his work to happen organically.

I think this guy is pretty wise and i love what he does and says he really makes a difference to me with his words.
Icpantale 3 months ago
everything he says has so much metaphorical meaning, i dont think anyone can truly understand his words full meaning.

@iancwebb let's say it like it is: aron weiss and Dan smith are both great artists. They don't need to be compared
