  • Hey i want To Unscrew my Loptop and its so fragile i think its stuck and the head hass deformd any Help?

  • @oStracci101o

did this video not help you at all? the expert says DRILL IT

on a serious note i have the same problem on a smaller gadget drilling it would be a horrible idea and would destroy it..

  • And that's the way it is!! Fucking priceless!! This guy is awesome!!!

  • You gotta purty mouth...

  • Jesus, I'm just trying to take a screw out of my N64 controller. ._.

  • An action screw just broke on my rifle about half way in the threads. Now I have to find a way to get the sheared off portion out. Whats even more messed up is that I didn't force anything, it just went to pieces with 2lbs of torque.

  • I`ve had lots of luck using brake fluid & leave overnight very synthetic

  • Is the $5000 reward in Confederate money?

  • @madisonelectronic dude...he's removing a screw from a freakin rifle. I think it's safe to say that's confederate money. hahahaha

  • @hiphopsucks96 :01-:03 Look at upper right. heheheheh

  • @madisonelectronic hahahaha oh dear...

  • this usualy dont work cuz u have to drill into bolt, and when u after put in that extractor,he actualy make that bolt biger and is stuck for real.so after that u usualy broke that extractor stuck in bolts, and that is realy shity.best way is just drill it out whole bolt and replace that with heli coil.talking woth own experience.

  • @TheBlazen001 Well then you're an idiot.

  • Not everyone has that sort of machinery in their shed.

  • I'm screwed.

  • wow dumb video... i was wishing for a quick fix...... lol

  • Ahh good ol' Kroil penetrating oil! Some other tricks are to use a left hand twist drill bit. It heats as it drills and often backs out the screw once it bites in. If it's hard to start on the screw head, grind a shallow dish in the center with a small Dremel burr so it won't wander. Also drill down about an 1/8", then get a torx bit screw driver that is slightly larger than the screw and tap in in the hole with a plastic hammer. It will bite in and break loose the threads so you can remove it.

  • Damn, it broke my xbox

  • geez, i wish is that easy on my brake caliper bolt. Currently stuck with that bolt and looking for help. This works but the space on my brake caliper is just too tight for this trick.

  • Screws fear him.

  • Larry Potterfield - the God of gunsmithing.

  • Jolly good!!!! It works on screw from soft (screw mark to 8.8) metal, but what can do with hard metal screw (screw mark 12.9)??? With normal HSS drill can't drill hard-metal screws. P.S. Here no odds screw diametre and pitch. The 12.9 screws is chilled. Then how can get out broken or rusty 12.9 screw???

  • good tips! but I have a problem, the allend screws are all stuck in my steering wheel, all 6 of them so still stuck on the car

  • Ill use this with the stuck screw of my psp for SURE

  • And what happens when the extractor snaps?

  • @Delta10666 Sometimes you can use a hammer and punch and rotate the broken piece clockwise and it will let go or It can be removed with an electric erosion machine. If none is available a cobalt drill bit may be hard enough to drill it out. Failing all of that you have a very difficult problem

  • how did he center the pilot hole?

  • @dills2403 Put a pointed tool in the chuck and line the point up with the edge of the screw head approximately in the centre of the slot. Use the milling machine table dials to move in half the diameter of the screw head. It won't be perfect but it will be within a few thou. More than accurate enough for this type of job. Mechanics just centre punch the broken bolt by eye and drill by hand.

  • Soemtimes Larry just makes me feel stupid.

  • feed the drill slow, otherwise it will walk on you and possibly damage the thread wall.

  • awsome! thanks. ive gotta find some1 to do this for my drum pedals. any1 know how much it would cost for a proffessional to do it?

  • get informative vid. shame the guy is annoyin lol

  • those tapered extractors are dangerous as when they are tightened they expand the screw body making it harder to remove, also should it break they are so hard they are almost impossible to get out,I use a snapon extractor set that uses parellel pins with flutes on them, these are driven into a pilot hole and bite into the screw,an adaptor nut allows you to turn the pin, these are by far the safest,if it should break they can be easily removed too,so thats NOT the way it is.(from experience)

  • and thats the way it is! amen xD

  • its called an easy out lol

  • MidwayUSAmazing Video

  • the way it is

  • Neat...
