nice video, I just bought one from PC.World at almost half price.
I was pleased to find that at least it does not have the annoying WD Smartware preinstalled which is on the WD Passport and you cant remove it only disable it from running everytime it was plugged in to the USB.
so if you dont want this annoying software then WD 5GB Elements is the one to go for.
It's actually cheaper then most. The WD passports 500gig go for about 120 USD but I found this one to be 90 bucks on newegg. PLUS it doesn't come with all that crap extra software. It's just an extra drive to plug in and use.
I'm thinking of buying this type of external HDD today, not exactly a boon for design nerd, but well, gotta make with the tight budget.

Actualy you can remove the SmartWare. There are instructions on the Western Digital website.
