  • exactly.

    my motto is:

    believe almost nothing

    question everything

    truthknowledge. com

  • Totally agree, they are just trying to mislead people with wrong information .

  • Absolutely well said that Mr Growby!

  • Smart young man!

  • I agree...

  • "Thinking for yourself" is no better a strategy than taking someone else's advice. You both may be equally stupid. If you mistrust others, you should mistrust yourself as well, maybe even more, since your pride "wants" you to be right. The answer is to seek truth, and form distinctions between truth, probability and wishful thinking.

  • The singular thing that made freedom possible for the citizens of the Thirteen Colonies was that they were the most literate peasantry in the world at that time. They were well read and were therefore able to make informed decisions about governance, liberty and revolution.

The opposite is now true. Most people are not well read, cannot base decisions on their own knowledge and have no basis to make informed decisions about the complex world in which we live...

A very bad time for that...

  • thankk you for this video!!

im going crazy im telling i just dont know what to beleive now? i agree with alot of what you said and has had me thinking

    thank you!

  • you're welcome! please join me on facebook and twitter for more news and commentary!

  • china owns the USA but the Jews own the land.

everything we eat and wear and sit on comes from China, but then the Jews get to run the country.

  • Harry, I invite you to read about Islam, and the Quran, to learn more about this life and the Hereafter life. And thanks for the info you provide.

  • People!!don't think" fore-themselfs anymore. They don't think out-saide the box.Education is good but,it does not!teach you everything! nor" does it teach you matters of life, leadership"common knowlege.I totaly agree dude!!!!!!

  • people are like sheep, they need to be led.

being intelligent and being smart have nothing to do with each other

  • Dude, I've been saying this all my life, people are stupid. My way of thinking is agree with nothing, better to be cynical than to be a naive mindcontroled dumbass. And don't be a fan of anyone, no glam BS either, because that leads to sheeple minds, be a fan of yourself first.

  • we should all be developing our critical thinking

    fully agree

when someone pretends he has a monopoly of the truth he is just a liar

  • 5 * Brainwashed. keep up outstanding work

  • your absolutly right

  • This guy speaks the TRUTH!!!

  • That was very well said Growby.

I think the very best way for someone to leave their preconceived notions behind and to learn to value TRUTH is for them to do their own investing, with their own money. Pick their own stocks, not using a mutual fund or broker's advise. Do it themselves, win their own victories, accept their own defeats, pay for mistakes out of their own pocket.

People may want to have all kinds of crazy beliefs, but when it comes to making money, they HAVE TO search for truth.

  • Absolutely love this video! A compatriot and I were just discussing this very topic (how could one not in this era of experts/shills/corporate lapdogs/cheerleaders/damage control/salesman/insiders/huddleclubs/etc???) he and I run a grocery store and seem to grasp common sense economic principles better than a lot of these alpha dogs and academicians. Same principle applys in most disciplines. Kudos, Growby10!

  • Precisely why i hate the amount of emphasis there is on referencing at uni.

  • Academics like referencing and they like their work sited and in the end it all comes down to royalties. In ancient times there was no referencing citations used because there were no royalties. It does waste time and limits knowledge.

  • Well said, You have to listen to every one on both sides, and then try and guess the future. The truth is nobody knows because you cant guess what the govt or the federal reserve does.

WHO would have guess the fed would come out suddenly and let Lehman bothers fail ffs

  • Anyone who doesn't believe this guy should watch the following docos: the Money Masters, The Fluoride Deception and Diseases Don't Just Happen.

  • I went to college at a time when critical thinking skills were highly regarded. I think since then the sh*t has hit the fan and critical thinking isn't taught the way it used to; who knows, maybe it isn't taught at all. I think people who watch too much television are filling their heads with nonsense. People who don't read a lot can't reason very well I'm afraid. As for very "smart" people, some of them are stupid too, but I think that's because college today teaches them crap.

  • It's not so much not taught, as actively discouraged.

  • The best way i could put it is all great minds in history had the same brain as me and you just different experiences. that means everyone with a question has the ability to find there own answers people just need to stop and think really think and reflect, thats were you learn reason and logic and thats all you need to find all your answers reason logic and time to your self. ive learned more out of school in my house with nothing to do than all the years i spent having crap jammed in my head.

  • (in response to 9/11)

  • Great video!

  • That goes along with 9/11. Think for yourselves.

  • a big hoax

  • I apply a 90/10 rule in most professions. I can probably only rely on 10% of people to do the right thing, give good advice, be honest, know their subject matter well. The remaining 90% are usually not worth taking much notice of.

But determining who these10% are involves alot of self education.

  • Totally agree. Espcially intellectuals: they're mean.

  • "There are two types of education ... One should teach us how to make a living, and the other how to live." - John Adams

Because of affluence in society today, there are many who have little or no education in how to be a civil human being. They may have tons of knowledge in their heads (just like hard-disks) but no wisdom to apply that knowledge in a meaningful way.

  • nanaroborovskii- your word ring true!!! What good is knowledge w/o humanity and respect for your fellow man!

we are creating a society of educated animals!!!

  • In stead of knowledge I would call it information which could be highly skewed or biased.

  • great video man

  • The world is full of educated idiots. Education and intelligence are not synonymous.

  • Growby10 is one of the best YouTube channels!!!

  • - thanks for those kinda words Markukkerd!

  • Could not have said it better myself. The founding fathers warned us about men like these(banksters, lawyers, politicians) and see where they got us.

  • and also bugger the founding fathers ALWAYS think for yourself.

  • Take it from me, the people that grad from Harvard, and other top schools, are only very educated in what they are taught. And being educated, does not make you smart. If they teach you a lie(most dont teach truth), then you are a very smart dummy for believing it, but you dont know it, and everyone else believes it also, so in a way, that make it truth(dont). They are educated dummies, and the people who believes them are dummies also. The true leaders are laughing at them dummies.

  • Just like people use to say during the Sixties " Question Authority !!! " Anyone heard of this before?

  • You make some great points. Also universities can indoctrinate you into one line of thinking, like most economic experts.

  • ..i'm no longer impressed w/ some ones formal education..i have met some 'dumb' ones...!

  • The "experts" got us here!

  • - you GOT IT Skybird!!

  • Growby, Don't let the trolls waste your time and energy.Keep fighting the good fight.

  • Very true brother! I agree 100%!!!!!!

  • I agree harry!

  • Most of the critical thinkers I know do not have a formal education.

  • ON POINT GROWBY10!!!

Exactly! We are being guided by these so-called experts, yet we are in such a mess. We are in a technocracy!

  • Experts RUN this world...look around you and take in this utopia!!! LOL!

It seems so clear and obvious...but b/c of we're brought up, taught and molded...it's so hard NOT to trust those in power...or on TV, etc.

    thanks for hitting that point!!!

  • Morality and ethics can't be taught at Harvard and Yale...Yes, I realize, they have classes that deal with these subjects, but there is huge difference between learning living your life according to these concepts, and studying enough and passing tests on them.. People have to also be mindful of "saviors" who claim they can bring change to the political system by riding waves of discontent among the masses..These people can be just as dangerous!

  • You hit on some great points BAB! I look forward to your comments!

  • couldn't agree more!

  • This is true. One question though. Why are we not hearing more about Peak Oil? Our whole system of investment and economic growth is predicated on the fact that we will continue to have cheap oil. In other words, future credit handouts are based on future growth but without cheap oil it will not happen. Do you think that this is the reason behind our wars and the current credit crunch? Remember, there has not been a MAJOR find in the WORLD since the 60's.

    James

  • James- although Peak Oil maybe coming (and to some already hear)...it's still not proven or covered in the MSM. Also, if there is a total collapse...much less oil will be needed.

finally, a "big" oil find was recently made in the gulf of mexico...possibly 3 billion barrels.

if peak oil is real...whether we talk about it or not...it will hit. just a matter of time.

  • This is a very small amount compared to what we need, will only recover about 40%of its stated value at high costs and will not come into production for 5 - 10 yrs. Same for those recently found off the coasts of Brazil and Venezuela. Just ask yourself this question, if there was a sustainable amount of oil left, why are the majors not investing heavily in exploration, tankers and refineries? Espeically considering that projected demand is so high. Can we peacefully ration it among nations?

  • One thing to remember when you hear about "big" DEEP sea oil finds is that they are mostly natural gas. They are reported in barrels of oil because that draws investors and media shills. I do not really know why the media is so willfully blind when it comes to peak oil. Unlike global warming the facts concerning peak oil are very well documented and difficult to misinterpret.

  • We are bull and cowshitted from the cradle to the grave.

  • i agree. think for yourself! That should apply to religion as well as economy.

    GO HARRY GO.

  • Keep it up!

  • all systems are BELIEF SYSTEMS key word BELIEF it has very lil to do with reality

  • true.

  • Bernake is a good example of holding to much reverence for education, he is a moron.

Do your own research and think for yourself.

    Amen Brother.

  • Bernake is a GREAT example! Look what bowing to his feet got the American people!

  • ***** GREAT VIDEO I CONCUR

  • Well said!

  • Your always going to have haters !

  • well said my friend, sadly major peoples think that education come on a degree on a piece of paper, major peopels have to read the hard fact and data not hype and scam that major economist said.. mainstream tv is a great exemple how to get screw
