One, these cars are not really in high demand, two will never be worth much, even in the future, and third it will probably cost more to get running then is really worth it. I was able to walk around the car with her and thats when she told me it wasn't hers. It's owned by someone other than the property owner. It was originally sold in Maine and was in a few parades. The man who owns it never called me back. I would let it go man, it's a nice car but not worth trespassing and a visit by the police.

It used to be my favorite car until i've seen the History channel documentary about how John De Lorean built the car in England with people that had no skill on how to build cars and the quality was low and the engine was severely under-powered.That is when i lost my interest in the De Lorean car and switched to Mustangs. The DMC is a great car, with a fantasticaly strong body. The engine is quite under-powered, but its not that bad, unless you wanna race with it. ;) Its a car that NEVER rusts and the engine is EASY to mantain. Its a car for people who wanna keep it for MANY years.
@marcsm2008 Sorry to disappoint you again but not everything is stainless steel on the car . The undercarriage for front and rear suspension and engine cradle are regular steel and possibly the floor board too( not to sure on that ) , And a friend of mine had one and he told he had nothing but problems with that car. Back in 1995 a saw one at a car show in Ypsilanti MI and when I talked to owner he told he spent about $4000 to overhaul and repair the fuel injection system on the DMC.
The floor board is fiberglass. ;) There ARE metal parts, of course, and they are probably destroyed, but this car WAS able to sustain something most cars cant! ;)
Oh, and a friend of mine still have one in perfect conditions (using everyday), still I can't say that the car is great JUST because of this. The same thing goes for you: saying that a friend of yours have problems with it means basically nothing. And fuel injection systems CAN have problems in ANY car, bub.

@mikebeange Yeah , i just thought about it . that will rott , an expensive like 2-3000$ that ( i think ) , that could have been avoided .
